Mom: I'm Beginning To Learn Her Language

Mom: I'm Beginning To Learn Her Language

First off, I'd like to announce this is the 100th rant in this book! Wow. A lot of shit has been pissing me off since the creation of this book.

Now, onto the rant.

My mother.

She said, yesterday, that she wanted to run a lot of errands today. I take every chance to get me out of the house since I don't have a work life, a social life, a love life or a school life. Come to think of it, I don't know what I'm doing with a life at all. So I planned on going out today, getting some sunshine, vitamin D, like a normal twenty-three-year-old (who can't drive, as sad as that sounds).

Mom claimed that she wanted to 'leave early', 'have an early start' which usually means that they want an early start, right? She said between 9am-10am, maybe. I have a strict morning routine that my day can't start without completing (same with night time). I have to brush my teeth, wash my face and every other day, take a shower. I rushed to do everything to be ready of time to leave.

It is currently 1:30pm (as I'm typing this, at least) and we still haven't left the house. She's been dilly-dallying all damn day on her phone

DISCLAIMER

Just to be clear, I know she has other things to do. She needs to make phone calls, maybe she's online shopping for the house. I get that.

But if she knew she had phone calls to make, then why the hell plan the whole day to run errands?? Especially if she knows we can't go anywhere this weekend (there's a dumbass fair that goes on for two months, making traffic a NIGHTMARE, but this a whole other rant for another time).

Why tf did I even bother?? She ALWAYS does this. Every time she says she wants to 'leave early', we either don't go at all or not go until early to late afternoon. I should know that by now!

For the love of God, woman! Make up your mind! Do you want to spend the day making phone calls or wait until the weekend when we can't go anywhere anyway and run important errands instead.

Ugh!

I can't believe I was stupid enough to fall for it again.

*sighs, clenches fists*

I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm cool, I'm fine.
