Awards: At Least Let Us Know Why You Cancel It!

Truth be told, this doesn't bother me THAT much, but it still irks me a little. And it's happened once or twice to the awards I've entered my books into.

One award was deleted (or unpublished) out of nowhere. I checked the host's profile to see if they posted anything on their message board about it...

Nothing.

Then, this morning, I just happened to go through my library to check for updates on any of the awards I've recently entered into and there were none. However, I pressed on one and it showed that the page no longer existed.

And again, I looked for the host amongst the list of who I'm following (I don't remember their name tbh).

I just double checked and none of the usernames looked familiar, so I can't say for sure if they announced anything about it or not.

But it's the fact that people keep starting awards and then, out of the blue, they cancel and unpublish it, sometimes without saying anything!

If you don't have the time anymore to manage it or to collect scores from the judges and, of course, that's okay.

All I'm asking for is to make an announcement about it so that we know what's going on instead of leaving me hanging.
