This is one of my older songs. It's called 'Tribute' (not like in the 'Hunger Games'!)

It's about how you feel when you've lost someone very close to your heart...

My love towards you

I took you for granted when you were here beside me

I underestimated you, Now you're gone and

I can't even bring myself to believe it

Without you, I feel there's no reason to be here

But I know what you'd say if you were here

In that ringing-chiming bells voice of yours

With that lovely yet skilled mind of yours

You'd tell me, with that evergreen wisdom

'Life is no cakewalk, but it's worth living

For at the end of the tunnel, there's always light'

So, I'm respecting your wish, I'll carry on your legacy

I'll let the whole world know what a good friend you were

The way you stood up for me and the way you made me laugh

Please forgive me if I haven't quite captured the proper essence, as I've not known this feeling in person (to lose something, you have to have it before), I'd only imagined such a scenario when I wrote this song around 4 years ago, within 3 months of my having started writing songs...
