Rules of Humanity
Praecepta hominum / Reglas de humanidad / Rules of Humanity:
Verse-1:
Brown eyes
Black curls
Red boots
Green scarf
Leather jacket
Skinny jeans
A plain white tee
And a pair o' shades
Pre-chorus-1:
Well, you think you're cool
But I'm no fool
I know the truth
Don't deny it
Chorus-1:
I know you've got a heart o' gold
Yeah, you've got a caring soul
You don't have to stay strong all the time
Know that I love you for who you are
Verse-2:
Blue eyes
Blonde locks
Black heels
Tiny waist
Flaring skirt
Crop top
Made up face
And a boy toy (or two!)
Pre-chorus-2:
Girl, don't care what they call you
You're a human being too
You've got every right I do
Don't let them take it away
Chorus-2:
I know you've got a heart o' gold
Yeah, you've got a caring soul
You don't have to stay strong all the time
Know that I love you for who you are
Bridge:
It doesn't matter what your skin colour is
Or the colour o' your hair or your eyes
Doesn't matter, the shape o' your body
All that matters is you!
Wear what clothes you like
Hang out with those who you like
Work for what you love
Live for your dreams
It doesn't matter what they think o' you
Or rather their own version o' you
Nobody can take away from you
All of your constitutional rights
Live the way you want to live
Love the one you want to love
Irrespective of who they are,
Where they're from, or their looks
'Cause we're all born at the same level
And we will all die at the same level
So what if you like guys or if you like girls (or both!)
So what if you don't want to put a label on yourself
You're still you, and I'm still me
Even if we're non-binary
In spite of our preferences
Well, everything in general
Let's put aside all our childish wars
Be done with all of our prejudices
No more bigotry, no heteronormativity
We're all one and we're all the same (puny humans)
Chorus-3:
I know you've got a heart o' gold
Yeah, you've got a caring soul
You don't have to stay strong all the time
Know that I love you for who you are
Outro:
At the end of the day
We're all going to decay
Make the most of now
Who knows about tomorrow?

I actually wrote this for a story of mine (i.e., as a singer character's original). Let me know what you think!
In other news, I started a new book called 'Chatni Chronicles', the first ever story that I'm writing that I'm sure will only be one book, no sequels and no spinoffs so yay! I might actually finally have a complete book maximum by a year from now so *inserts celebratory emoji*
I'm sorry, I know I started and said I'd continue so many other books but I'm not that invested in those stories right now. I've been diagnosed as anemic so there's basically a whole lot of time where because I'm too tired to do anything, my mind is free to wander. Hopefully this new book will act as a refreshing change and chase away the writer's block I've had especially with regards to Anemophily, The Missing Linck and Ref, Play It Back. I'll try my hardest to update as many of these as I can.
But don't worry, I haven't given up on any of my books. The Tyler series is still my favourite project and I am interested to finish the series as soon as I can so I'll probably start working on the second book when Chatni Chronicles ends. I'll work to finish the first book in between these updates so *fingers crossed*. And, of course, I'll update this omnibus whenever I write any poems that I'm comfortable uploading. Cheers!
