When I first heard of you,

My mind wandered into the blue

Thinking of what I'd do

When I'd finally see you.

Then I came by and saw your beauty

And to admire you became my duty.

Then I couldn't wait to see you again

And I tried to rush the years, but all in vain.

So I waited and waited and waited, albeit impatiently,

And looked forward to seeing your splendour eagerly.

Year after year, I whizzed through space

For seventy six years, just to see your face.

But now I see you, let me tell you

You're in the station of self-destruction.

I visit you only once in seventy six years

And I don't want to see a barren planet

In place of the lovely you

The next time I come by.

So please take a hint and save yourself

Save your Earth, humans, listen to me

Your Mother Earth is beautiful

She deserves to be saved

So please listen to me.
