Rohit was having a very peaceful and deserving sleep. He deserved this very-very much. They have just won an absolutely inspiring series.

And so, he will sleep totally today. After all, there is no practice today.

There will be only he and his sweet sleep. He'll pack later after all they have an early morning flight tomorrow.

So, today it'll be just him and his sweet-sweet sleep.

But Ro forgot that a certain Virat Kohli had entered his life.

And as long as there is Virat Kohli in his life, there won't be any me time with his sweet sleep.

And at that moment, as if smelling Ro was in the lands of sweet slumber. Virat barged in his room vibrating with energy.

"ROHIT" Virat screamed on the top of his voice as he entered the room.

He rolled his eyes watching Ro sleeping.

"Rohit!!!" He called for his bestie trying to wake him with words.

Can't use a water bucket so soon. He reminded himself as Ro covered his ears with a pillow trying to cancel out the annoying sound.

Sighing exasperatedly, Virat jumped on Rohit's bed and started poking his friend while using the bed as a trampoline.

"Wakey, Wakey Ro..."

"Come on Sunshine, Rise and Shine"

Virat sang on the top of his voice, poking and jumping on Ro's bed like an excited toddler waking his parents.

Rohit just groaned highly annoyed when he realized; no matter how unresponsive and deep in sleep, he acted. This monkey wasn't going to leave him.

"What?? No practice today" Ro reminded Vi annoyed as he squinted open his eyes and tried to close them again.

But it was a super excited Virat jumping around him.

"No, no practice. Don't sleep, Ro. It's already 12. Wakey, wakey time now" Virat sang happily.

Rohit didn't know how can someone be so happy in the morning. It was just so annoying.

"Virat, stop jumping. You'll break the bed," Rohit snapped at Virat who stilled momentarily.

Then started vibrating again "Ro, get up fast. I've a surprise. Wake up, na"

"What surprise?? Ro questioned Virat mildly intrigued yet not getting up.

Virat just threw him a super annoyed look.

"Will it be a surprise if I tell you what it is?? Now Go and fresh up, fast!!!!" Virat ordered Ro.

Ro looked at Virat pondering whether he should really follow this order or not??

Then realizing Virat won't give up neither stop jumping around until he agreed.

Ro sighed feeling very remorseful to leave his better half, his one true soulmate, his bed.

Sighing, he got up and followed Virat's order.

Rolling his eyes when Virat hollered behind him to hurry.

"This guy was always in hurry," Ro thought annoyed as he walked back in his room to find Virat lying on his bed.

Virat leg was dangling from the bed and he was glaring at his phone like his phone snatched away his last chocolate.

Ro didn't know why he was glaring at his phone?  He was about to ask him when Virat's face suddenly lit up with a million-dollar smile.

Okay, what's wrong with this guy? Did he have a girlfriend??

Cause only that will explain this strange behavior.

"Girlfriend?" Ro asked Virat not liking how little he knows about his new very-very good friend.

"What," Virat asked Ro totally confused.

Ro rolled his eyes and looked pointedly towards his phone.

"Oh, no...it's my little bro," Virat beamed back at Ro as he got up.

"Oh!" Ro exclaimed confused, as far as he knew Virat had an elder brother. So, who is this little brother?

If Virat has a little bro and he didn't know about it. Rohit decided he'll feel really guilty.

In the past few days, he realized he knew very little about this guy. Virat wasn't what he seemed. He was something more. He was a really good guy and Ro really-really liked him.

And he doesn't want to mess this friendship with him at all.

Rohit was thinking about this and didn't notice Virat was again vibrating with energy as he looked at him beaming "Ready"

"Ugh...hmm" Ro didn't even finish his humming and Virat was already dragging him out of his room and God, knows where?

Rohit didn't know whether to laugh or roll his eyes at this over-excited guy? A few days ago, Jinks and he were thinking that Virat was a mature being but no, Virat is just an overgrown toddler.

Rohit is a hundred percent sure of this theory. Along with the fact that Virat genuinely cares for everyone.

The first few days, when Virat dropped unannounced and uninvited to give Jinks and him tips and make them do some ridiculous things. Ro was sure Virat was boasting around and trying to make them feel down.

He felt greatly insulted when Virat started randomly pointing out some defect in his stance and all. He was sure Virat was just an arrogant git, who liked showing off.

But it wasn't until Virat tips helped him in the match. It wasn't until Virat celebrated more than them, when they performed well, that he understood Virat really cared and was genuinely trying to help them.

He couldn't help but feel Virat was really a very endearing yet annoying person. A kid at most of the times like this when he was being dragged around by what seemed like an excited toddler.

Rohit was actually surprised when Virat took him to Sonu bhaiya's room.

Virat opened the door and Rohit looked at him curiously.

Why were they in this room?

Entering the room with Virat, Rohit realized Sonu bhaiya wasn't anywhere in sight.

"Where is Sonu Bhaiya?? Why are we in his room?" Rohit couldn't help but ask Vi suspiciously.

"He is out shopping with Zak pa," Virat announced nonchalantly as he settled himself happily on the bed.

"Why are we here then??" Rohit asked Virat, he wasn't feeling very eager to know what Virat surprise is?

"Patience, dear Ro, patience" Vi sang saintly again.

And Ro rolled his eyes, "absolutely a toddler"

There was a knock on the door and then a timid Jinks peeked inside the room.

Watching them, he sighed in relief and entered the room feeling normal again.

"Jinksy baby, you're late," Virat declared

And both Jinks and Rohit rolled their eyes at him.

"He dragged you too," Jinks asked Ro Ignoring Virat.

"Yups," Ro affirmed laughing

"Reckon it's something drastic?" Jinks questioned Ro

"Can't say it can't be" Ro agreed

And Virat huffed then pouted while declaring "you guys are big meanies"

Ro-Jinks just laughed at him.

Virat rolled his eyes.

"Well, but I'm not a meanie so I'll go and bring your surprises," stating so Virat disappeared somewhere inside the suite.

Rohit looked at Jinks, Jinks shrugged his shoulder. Ro shakes his head.

"Didn't he mention something about Kohli being a kid??"

"Okay guys, you did absolutely very well in this series. Following my diet without any questions and listening to me. So, for our this new brotherhood and friendship. I decided to do something for you guys." Virat announced beaming with happiness and nervousness.

Ro and Jinks looked at each other not knowing what to do. They never had seen someone that isn't their family or coach surprise them because they did well.

Virat was the first person. The first person who was looking so flustered with his surprise as he ushered them inside and made them sit on the table.

"Taddaaa," he yelled as he unveiled the dishes kept on the table.

Jinks and Ro looked at each other, there were parathas and something that looked like kebabs and was that kadhi chawal??

"This was the surprise, you were so excited about??"  Rohit asked Virat incredulously and even Jinks thought couldn't Vi directly say he was giving them "a cheat day, "

"Yes...I cooked all this, " Virat spoke nervously looking at Ro and Jinks.

Ro and Jinks couldn't help but feel highly touched by Vi's gesture. No one has ever done this for them.

"You know how to cook?" Ro asked Virat seriously thinking this was a very worthy thing.

"I used to help my mom in the kitchen tried making something myself for the first time, " Virat spoke looking bashful.

Well, he definitely cooked something for the first time after coming back in the past.

Now, how should he tell Ro and Jinks about the future where he had to learn cooking because of some idiots.

Rohit and Jinks every instinct screamed at them to not eat this. Something inside them was sure they'll get poisoned by eating this but watching the super excited yet nervous Vi.

They decided to take the risk. After all, Vi was their friend. Ro decided to be the brave one as he took a bite of paratha.

Well, the paratha was looking decent so he started with it and then instantly decided Virat was going to be his best friend.

It was aloo paratha and it may look not that good but it tasted delicious. But how did Virat know aloo paratha was his absolute favorite dish??

Kebab was Jinks favorite dish. So, he took a small bite of it watching Ro take a bite of paratha. It was veg Kebab, Jinks knew by taste and it was absolutely yummy.

Ro and Jinks couldn't help but glance towards Virat who was looking at them expectantly.

"It's delicious, " both complimented him together

And Vi grinned back towards them, letting go of the breath he was holding.

MSD was sitting in his room feeling like something was definitely missing. He had a chat with his dear wife, Sakshi, just a few minutes ago.

He knew Viru pa led guys went out to roam and chill today but still something was bothering him. Like someone was missing from the frame.

And then, he realized he hadn't been even once pestered by a being called "Virat Kohli" today. The last time, he had seen Virat it was early in the morning when he was badgering Sonu for something.

Shaking his head and missing that goofy kid. Mahi decided to find, what he was upto?

He checked in Virat's room and Virat was missing. Sighing, he knocked at Sonu's room maybe Sonu knows where that kid is? Mahi waited for a few minute and knocked again.

After few minutes, the door was open by the kid he was searching for.

"Mahi Bhai," The kid exclaimed on top of his voice looking like an excited puppy. At that moment, Virat strongly reminded Mahi bhai of excited puppies back at his home who yap happily waving their tales watching him return after long.

Mahi bhai couldn't help and ruffled Virat's hair making Virat beam more.

"What are you doing kiddo?" Mahi couldn't help but ask Virat who looked absolutely like a kid.

"Feeding, self-cooked food to Ro and Jinks, Come on bhai you also taste it," stating so Virat dragged Mahi inside not letting him say anything else.

Mahi just shook his head and looked totally amused by his antics. Can this guy ever be calm for even a second??? 

Mahi noticed Ro and Jinks already seated on the table laughing about something as they continued eating amidst laughter and Virat passed Mahi his own plate.

"Bhai, I don't know where Sonu bhai kept the other plates. So, we gotta share,"

Mahi just nodded and humored Virat by taking a bite of the last piece of kebab in Virat's plate.

Mahi had to agree the food tasted delicious.

"How is it?" Virat asked Mahi eagerly and Mahi couldn't help but chuckle. Why was the kid treating him as if he was some master-chef? A master chef who'll give him pointers on the food.

"It's delicious," Mahi praised Virat and Virat beamed more if possible.

"You only cooked for the two of them?" Mahi asked Virat when after two or three more bites the food was finished and Ro albeit a little reluctantly shared a little food from his plate and Jinks contributed a little too.

"No, Sonu bhaiya asked me to save something for him too," Virat admitted sheepishly

Mahi knew Sonu was just humoring Virat. He won't mind if Virat didn't save something for him. But Mahi couldn't help but smile realizing how much Virat actually cared about his teammates. It wasn't a show off.

"You didn't save for others?" Mahi teased Virat knowing the kid had been taken in by Yuvi, Bhajji, Ishant and all from the starting. It has been the past few days when he has started spending more time with Ro, Jinks and him.

Virat just rolled his eyes at Mahi bhai's teasing. He wasn't cooking for a langar. God, to cook for so many people he have to start from the night if he wanted to finish by now.

Mahi just laughed watching Virat's expression knowing what was going in that head of his. Mahi had known about Rohit, Virat and Jinks since the moment they debuted under him but still there were things about them he didn't know till now.

He didn't know, what kind of big brother Virat was until he roamed the street of Sri Lanka and watched him pick things for what he called "his brothers". He didn't know that Virat wasn't taking the flight to Delhi but he was going to Bangalore first to meet his little brothers. Mahi didn't know when Virat had become an elder brother. He was akin a toddler himself.

When they asked about this brothers, Vi just replied that he knew them when he met them during their state matches. They were kids. Mahi didn't know how deep Virat's words will resonate with him when he said: "You don't need to share blood to be brothers,".

He really didn't know many minute facts about his brothers. Like how big issue Rohit's forgetfulness was when they spent the better half of their evening searching Ro's phone dropped somewhere on the beach.

 He knew Rohit but didn't knew how insecure the kid was until that moment. Even after his talent and extra 1.5 seconds, the kid was scared and nervous around who was in their language "Stars". The world cup exclusion not helping his confidence.

He knew about Jinks but not the person behind that timid introvert exterior. In that moment, he realized the calm and wise person behind the exterior. The person whose fav food was same as him. The person who was a good listener and analyzer and was always ready to back his friends.

And then, their was Virat the kid with tough exterior. The kid who acted as nothing penetrated him and everything is beneath him. The kid who gets in fight but the kid who has a gentle and soft heart. The kid whom words actually affects the worst and the kid who doesn't ever let it show.

It was in this time spend with them that they changed from the team kids to his kids. He knew they worshiped him. He knew they looked up to him but he thought it was as the captain. He didn't know they really respected him as an elder brother since their debuts.

He knew this was a hard job. Sonu and Yuvi were friends, everyone else were his friends but these were his kids. The one who will take even his jokes seriously. But all in all, he really enjoyed the time spend with them. Even when sometimes, he felt like he was a teacher with a bunch of wayward students on a tour.

Unknown to Mahi, it was all the kid "he will call Cheeku after some days" plan. Cheeku who knew the future. Cheeku who knew they absolutely became Mahi bhai's little brothers when most of the seniors retired from the team. It was that time when Mahi bhai didn't have any option but to spent all his time with them. It was then when they've become Mahirat, Rohirat, Mahijinks when their were newbie kids and some slightly older kids. 

 Virat was just acting like an catalyst so that they could become brothers even sooner than before and well, he wants his family together. He wants again to be free to drop at Mahi bhai's home whenever he wants. So, he is pulling all his charms to make it all happen soon. Yeah, Bhuvi is helping him with some ideas too.

God, he can't wait till Bhuvi finally makes his entry in the team.

While he also gleefully imagined Bhuvi, Rahuliyaa and Kul's reaction watching the gift he had picked for them.
