Mia's POV

Water rises at a dramatic speed and I struggle in the chains. I couldn't die. I wouldn't let it happen.

But it was useless.

The more I struggled the faster the water rose. So I stayed still as the water reached my stomach. Looking out of the tank I could see my dad still staring at the ground.

"Dad!!! Get out of here!! Try to escape!!!" I yell.

He seems to move a bit and finally makes eye contact with me.

And he mouths a single word,

No.

I stare at him and the water rises to my chest. Bit by bit my fear rises like the water around me. And I was starting to panic.

That's when I felt it. A tear rolls down my cheek as if there could be anymore water.

And as it rises to my chin I mouth to my dad that I love him. At least my uncles could find him alive.

I take my last breath of air and open my eyes under water. I wanted to stare into Lillian's eyes as I died. She would watch my light fade from my eyes and I would make sure it haunted her forever.

My vision gets blurry, my lungs burn for air and my brain sends signals through my body that we needed to get out. But I couldn't.

My dad is struggling in his chains and Lillian is smiling. Karai is laughing and she watches as I struggle. Adrenaline is coursing through me.

It would be alright, Uncle Raph would show up and find Daddy. Grandpa would fight Karai. And I would float in my watery grave.

Memories of my past flash through my mind.

The day I walked into Uncle Don's lab and Daddy finally saw my first steps.

The first time I had tried ice-cream. And Uncle Mikey kept sneaking me some before bedtime.

Even the night's when me and dad would stay up late watching reruns of Space Heroes.

My favorite one was when we all played hide and seek. And I was the victorious hider. I made Dad so worried when no one could find me.

I watch the blue gem in my necklace float up in my eyesight as I sink to the floor.

Water was filling my lungs now. I couldn't breathe.

I close my eyes as one last memory courses through.

Dad kisses my forehead as I hug him with tears in my eyes. I had a nightmare and was in his room.

"I love you.."

Leo's POV

"NOOO!!!!"

I rip the chains out of the wall as I watch Mia sink to the floor. The roof breaks as glass falls around and my brothers and Father appear, fighting Karai and the foot bots.

I didn't care about the shuriken cutting my skin as I rushed to the tank and punch the glass with all my strength.

It breaks with a single punch and water rushes out as Mia's body comes to me.

I pick her up and set her gently on the floor before feeling for a pulse.

Nothing.

I quickly take in what Donnie told me about CPR and go into action. I press on her chest with tears in my eyes.

"Mia come on. Princess your strong you can do it."

Another press and I breathe air into her mouth before going back to pressing on her chest.

The foot bots are all destroyed and Karai escapes with Lillian. Donnie comes rushing over and tilts Mia's head to the side. He helps me.

"Mia don't do this. Come on.."

Suddenly she jerks and coughs up a bunch of water. Donnie pats her back and I embrace her in a tight hug.

"Dad?" She asks weakly her eyes struggle to stay open and she smiles weakly at me.

"Mia Blossom Hamato don't leave me again..." I say as tears run down my cheeks.

"Heh don't plan too anytime soon.."
