"Donnie! Hurry I need you to do a check up!" I yell as I reach the lair. The baby had started shivering and wouldn't open it's eyes.

Donnie rushes out with his medical kit as all my other brothers and father come to see the chaos.

Donnie takes it from my arms and doesn't question me but just checks it's heart, temp and tests for any diseases. "She's fine, just cold." He says putting his stuff away.

So she's a girl.. I think before smiling a little.

I sigh and take her back in my arms. "Mikey can you get me a blanket?" I ask him with pleading eyes.

He rushes off and my father turns to me. "Leonardo, care to explain?" He asked gesturing to the baby.

"The Krang dumped her into a bath of mutagen and I couldn't just leave her there. Can I keep her?" I say cradling the shivering baby.

He closes his eyes and strokes his beard as his eyebrows furrow in frustration. "Alright, you may keep her," he says.

"Yes!"

"But she is your responsibility." He says. I nod.

"Hai, Sensei."

Master Splinter leaves the room to go and meditate when Mikey comes back. "Here bro, soooooo is my big bro a father now?" He asks grinning.

I wrap the baby turtle in the blanket and watch as she slowly opens her eyes. I smile. "I guess I am.."

Mikey cheers, "Uh-Huh! Uncle Mikey in da house!" Raph rolls his eyes.

"We're all uncles you shell-head." He says bonking Mikey on the head.

Mikey let's out a small 'ow' and rubs his head. The baby let's a small gurgle of happiness out at the sight and Mikey smiles.

"Haha you think that's funny little dudette?" He asked coming up and tickling her lightly. She giggles and squirms.

"So what'd ya name her?" Raph asks as Donnie comes back out from putting back his stuff.

"Haven't really thought of names yet. And no Mikey your not naming her." I say as Mikey lights up by the mention of naming. But it's quickly deflated.

"Ahh..." he says, his shoulders slumping in defeat.

I look at my daughter as she giggles at Mikey. "Mia," I say.

Donnie and Raph look at me. "That's it! Her name is Mia." I say smiling at her.

Mia stops giggling and looks at me, she smiles and touches my face gently.

"I like it, suits her." Raph says playing with her. Donnie nods. "Agreed, well Mia I'm your uncle Donnie. You can call me Don for short." Donnie says smiling at her. Mia giggles and grabs Donnie's cheeks.

He chuckles and pulls away. "Good luck Leo." He says before walking into his lab. Raph wedges his finger out of Mia's grasp and goes to train while Mikey makes one last face at her and goes to make pizza.

I sigh and carry Mia to my room. Pulling out the crib from when my brothers and I were younger I set her on my bed. She sits there staring at me while I make it.

"Well Mia, this is your new home. And if you have a nightmare Daddy will be right here okay Princess?" I say while sitting her on my lap. She giggles and bounces a little, happily.

I smile and rub our noses together before kissing her on the forehead.
