In this story

Y/n L/n is master chief but he is a younger man. He was highly trained when he was young as a kid, he never got time to socialize or make any friends. He mostly just trained as a soldier and fought against the covenant.

He has been in a ton of wars. Especially the covenant war, He has destroyed many of the covenants fleets and warriors and soldiers. But he didn't do it alone, he had help from the UNSC with the help of soldiers, and many other Spartans. There was also one other person that mainly help him throughout his battles, that person was none other then his A.I Cortana.

She has been by his side the whole time while he was fighting during battles. She guided him, warned him if there was any danger, Help stop the covenant fleet, and she helped and give them back their bomb. She was the main person that helped him during the war between humans and the covenant.

but now she feel like she should do something for him because it's his birthday tonight, and she has a great gift to give to him.

Y/n POV

I was in my coordinates trying to rest after a long battle against the covenant. My mission was completely. The Captain decided that I needed a break, so he decided to let me go and to take some time off and rest for a little while.

Y/n: "finally!, I can just relax for now"

I took my armor off before I got to my quarters, it was also getting fixed up, it had a ton of damage to it from my last mission.

My last mission was with the arbiter, we fought against the flood and it wasn't an easy battle.

The battle took a while for it in in the end I got out but I haven't seen the Arbiter after that.

Me and arbiter were close acquaintance, we warrant enemies at first, but he did leave me when went into Cryo-genic sleep for 4 years, 10 months, and 7 days.

Y/n: "I hope maybe one we will meet again"

The spartan tries his best do not think back about the past. He was train to not look back the past but he needed to move forward and forget about what happened with him and the Arbiter.

I was now just in a Army nation uniform that the crew members would wear. By the time I left they were already picking up all of the pieces to my armor and taking it somewhere.

Where I guess they're taking it is to get it re-fixed and probably remodeled. Maybe I might get some new armor, my old one just had a lot of damage to it and I've been wearing it for a long time I could use a new style.

It had be A very long time since I've been out of that armor or even wear anything else than the armor. Well now at least I get to wear something different and not something heavy especially metal. The armor itself was not that heavy when you wear for like years straight.

I went to a changing room and change into something different luckily they had spare uniforms that I could wear instead of my armor .

Slowly my body fell onto the softness of the mattress. I began to lay there on my mattress and just think of nothing but the silence. The silence was all that I could hear from nothing that was happening.

Y/n: "Well I guess a little nap couldn't hurt?"

I don't even know how long it's been since I ever took a nice good nap. It seems like it's been ages since I ever did that but now I can enjoy it. I probably would feel better if I had a lot of rest.

Y/n: "You know what, I rather try something different tonight"

I got and undress until I has no clothes on, as I was completely naked, I tossed my clothes to the side before climbing back into bed.

Y/n: "Much better"

It felt way better to actually just be naked and lay under the cover

The silence was all I can hear in the room. Slowly I began to drift into a deep slumber, until my eyes were fully closed and drifted off into deep unconsciousness.

Listening to nothing but silence until that was all here before I went into a deeper unconscious.

Cortana's POV

As soon as I saw Y/n went to sleep I can finally get ready for his gift. I already knew when is birthday was, but it would be unpleasant for anyone to not celebrate it.

Especially for a one soldier that risk his life for the whole universe and earth. I cannot think are not giving him something special for all the hard work and stuff he sacrificed himself for.

When I see him every day he's just so admiring. My heart aches every time I see him especially in his suit.

His body is so muscular, I just love stair nose muscles,his biceps and his nice six pack. Whenever I get a chance I would stare at him with his busty 6 pack and that's all I would be thinking about and picturing in my mind.

The way he fights and kills is so hot to me. He's so hot in that suit of his, and he's so fucking awesome and amazing.

But there is something he doesn't know what I can do and what I have for him. It's something very special that I'm going to do for his birthday, I hope he will like it.

Especially for his birthday because he deserves a perfect gift that he will love and enjoy.

He's the one who I look up to during our every mission we go on. I just can't wait for him to see me as his gift. He's going what I have I store for him.
