After Alexa and I had a workout at the gym, I received a text from Xavier.

Xavier: Alex, Alexa the comments from our Street Fighter V video wants you two to go it again one more time. I won't tell what game you two will be playing, it will be a surprise.

I turned to Alexa with a grin.

Alex: one more time babe?

Alexa: let's put an end to our rivalry. Tell Xavier we're in.

I texted Xavier back.

Alex: Xavier, we're in.

Xavier: alright guys see you in a few minutes.

(14 minutes later in Xavier's room)

Alexa and I had confident grins on our faces as Xavier does the intro.

Xavier: welcome to UpUpDownDown, it's your boy Austin Creed and we have a special episode today as a certain couple wants to put an end to their rivalry in the fighting game genre. Allow me to welcome back Little Miss Bliss, Alexa Bliss and her fiancé the Pinoy Prince, Alex Auditore. I texted you guys, and I didn't mention what game you two will be playing.

Alex: yeah, what is the game man?

Xavier: I don't know if this is you guys' territories, but the game you two will be playing is...Mortal Kombat X.

I gave an evil grin while Alexa gave a surprise look.

Alex: you're not ready for me when I play this.

Alexa: oh it's on babe. It's so on.

Round 1: Raiden (me) vs. Sonya Blade (Alexa)

I landed Raiden's X-ray attack, but Alexa fired back Sonya's X-ray attack. I landed one more combo and the fatality to end the match.

Xavier: round 1 goes to the Prince.

Round 2: Predator (me) vs. Jason Voorhees (Alexa)

Alexa: Jason crossed over with Freddy in a movie, so I'm playing him.

Alexa landed some of Jason's machete combos, but I fired back with Predator's X-ray attack. It wasn't enough as Alexa fired back with a combo that ended in Brutality.

Xavier: a brutal win for Little Miss Bliss. Score is tied with 1-1.

Round 3: Leatherface (me) vs. Johnny Cage (Alexa)

I landed combos that involved Leatherface's chainsaw and ball peen hammer, but Alexa fired back with Johnny's signature nut shot followed by his fatality giving her the win.

Xavier: Little Miss Bliss leads with 2; she needs one more to win.

Round 4: Quan Chi (me) vs. Shinnok (Alexa)

Alexa lands an impressive combo from Shinnok, but I ended the round with Quan Chi's X-ray giving me the Brutality win.

Xavier: we're tied up 2-2. Who will win?

Round 5: Scorpion (me) vs. Sub-Zero (Alexa)

Xavier: ooooohh, the iconic rivalry in video game history. What a great way to end Pinoy Bliss' rivalry.

I landed Scorpion's iconic "get over here!" rope dart attack and landed a combo. Alexa fired back with Sub-Zero's ice projectile freezing Scorpion, and landed an impressive combo.

Alexa: I'm ending this!

Alex: not this time!

Our healthbars are nearly empty. I blocked Alexa's combo and landed Scorpion's rope dart and finished Sub-Zero off with my fatality.

When I saw Scorpion deliver the final death blow, I gave out a victorious scream. While Alexa sat with a surprised look on her face.

Xavier: your winner for Mortal Kombat X, the Pinoy Prince!

Alex: I finally got redemption!

Alexa: how?

Alex: I played this series as a kid.

Alexa: no fair!

Alex: a win is a win babe

I gave a kiss to her head as she sat down with a playful pout on her face.

Xavier: there you have it. The great video game rivalry has come to an end. The Pinoy Prince has won redemption. As always thank you for watching and keep it tight.
