Chapter 5: AKO Barrage

(The following night after Fastlane)

Alex was in his locker room looking to blow off some steam after he was screwed last night of the WWE Championship thanks to the crooked special guest referee paid by The Miz. What's currently on his mind was his match against Dolph Ziggler and the choice to pick a stipulation for the WrestleMania match along with Miz's crooked referee Ryan Cabrera.

As for tonight's Raw, the opening match will determine one part of the stipulation for the WWE title match at WrestleMania as Miz takes on Matt Riddle in a one on one match. Both men made their entrances as the match was about to start.

(WWE Champion The Miz vs. Raw Tag Team Champion Matt Riddle)

The two men locked up, but the advantage goes to the Original Bro due to his MMA background as he dead lifts Miz before slamming the WWE Champion on the canvas. Riddle took the advantage and hopes to score the win for his bro while also not go overzealous and overconfident.

Riddle got Miz to the corner with repeated kicks to the WWE Champion's gut to faze him a bit.

(Fast forward)

Riddle was repeatedly kicking Miz in the corner to get more advantage while Miz was staggered and breathing in the corner. The Bro then grabbed Miz and hits the Bro to Sleep followed by a German suplex pin combo, but the WWE Champion managed to kick out at the last second.

Then minutes later, the Showoff Dolph Ziggler came down to provide a distraction, so Miz can get some breathing room for the mean time, Riddle was arguing with Ziggler at ringside and tries to get an offense move on him, but the Showoff kept his distance with an arrogant smirk on his face.

Riddle turned his attention back to The Miz who was at ring apron recovering, this gave the Original Bro the opportunity to execute Orton's vintage hanging DDT, nailing the champion's head on the mat. Then Riddle went to that place and looks to hit the WWE Champion with an RKO. As The Miz turned around, Riddle went to hit it, but Miz countered it and hits the Skull Crushing Finale, the same way he did to Orton back in 2010. Miz went for the pin and snatched the victory and the advantage to name a stipulation for his match against Alex at WrestleMania.

Miz smirked as Dolph came in the ring and draped his title over his friend's shoulder while he asked for a mic, so he can announce the stipulation while the crowd booed.

Miz: I just defeated Alex's stupid friend who doesn't think straight and always thinks he is Randy Orton. Well with my victory here tonight, I do have a match stipulation in mind. Alex, you may have adapted, inherited and learned a lot from Randy Orton, especially that move that always come out of nowhere, the RKO or whatever you call it for yourself, the AKO. Well, at WrestleMania Alex, my stipulation for our match is that you are banned of using the AKO, if you somehow hit me with it, you'll lose the match and you won't have any future WWE title shots as long as I'm champion

With that announcement, the WrestleMania match between Alex and Miz has updated to the Pharaoh's signature AKO being forbidden in the match. Miz and Dolph were celebrating in the ring, but their little celebration was drastically cut short as Ziggler was hit with an AKO Outta Nowhere from Alex. Miz immediately exited the ring and retreated to the ramp.

Alex looked down at the fallen Showoff as he grabbed a mic.

Alex: Miz! I was watching backstage and you were running your stupid mouth until I heard that the AKO is banned during our match? That's no problem because Randy has taught me to always adapt and find a way to finish my prey off. Hell, I can think of a million ways to kick your ass on the Grandest Stage

Miz: you think you won't AKO me at WrestleMania?! You really are unhinged just like your mentor, well you have three hours until your match tonight against Dolph tonight and to get it all out of your system-

Alex: you know what, stop right there you just gave me an idea. Get it all out of my system; get it all out of my system; get it all out of my system; get it all out of my system. Hey, you know what?! Since you ban the AKO at WrestleMania, after this segment is over and we go to commercial break, I'm gonna go backstage and I'm gonna AKO every son of a bitch I see! And then before Raw goes off the air and after I kicked Ziggler's ass, Miz! I'll be announcing my stipulation for our match and I'll AKO you and that is a promise!

The two men stared down at one another as the show goes to commercial and Alex looks to fulfill his promise tonight.

(Time skip)

There was a one on one match between Austin Theory and Mustafa Ali. The match was an average 7 to 9 minute match, but the result of the match is when Theory took advantage of an exposed turnbuckle and finishes Ali off with A-Town Down. As the young rising star was celebrating and taking selfies of his fallen opponent, Theory repositioned his phone and Alex was in his shot with a smirk on his face. Theory turned around but walked right into an AKO from the Pharaoh, resulting in Theory being victim 2 of Alex's barrage.

(Fast forward)

A tag team match was going on and was to determine the next challengers for the current champions The Usos as the Street Profits takes on Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest.

The two teams proved to be worthy contenders of the tag team championship but the Judgment Day's numbers were too much for the Profits thanks to interference from Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor as the match ended with Priest pinning Ford with South of Heaven.

Finn and Rhea joined in the celebration as they posed with Dominik and Damian in the ring as they taunted the Usos. However, as the Judgment Day celebrated, Alex slid in and Rhea got out of the ring quick. Alex tossed Finn out and took down Priest with an AKO and then catches Dominik with another AKO by midair as the Pharaoh let out a war cry as he got his fury out of his system.

Finn got on the apron and Alex dared his former friend from their NXT days to get in the ring, but the Prinxe slowly retreated as he and Rhea got Dom and Priest out and retreated. In the ring, Alex held up three fingers to signify that Dominik and Priest were victims 3 and 4 as he still had more AKOs left in his barrage before his match against Ziggler.

(Fast forward)

The second to last match before the main event was a standard one on one between Akira Tozawa and the newly rejuvenated Baron Corbin, who is now under the tutelage of JBL.

The match was nothing but a squash as Corbin dominated the match before he finished Tozawa off with the End of Days.

JBL got in the ring with an arrogant smirk on his face as he raised his protege's arm up. However, Alex slithered in the ring right behind Corbin which stunned JBL as the Pharaoh turned Corbin around and hits the former King of the Ring with another AKO.

The Pharaoh taunted JBL and exited the ring while he raised his hand up indicating Corbin as the 5th victim of the AKO Barrage.

(Time skip)

It was the main event as Alex was feeling refreshed after his barrage from earlier tonight and was ready for his match against Dolph Ziggler. Both men made their entrances and stared across each other in the ring.

(Auditore vs. Ziggler)

The two men locked up, but Alex has the power advantage as he pushed Ziggler back. The Pharaoh went right to work with kicks to the corner and uppercuts to the Showoff. Then the Pharaoh measured and hits a dropkick on Dolph, dropping him down. The Venomous Pharaoh methodically targeted Ziggler's limbs with stomps followed by a knee drop to the Showoff's head.

(Fast forward)

Ziggler stunned Alex with an elbow and a kick to the gut before executing his signature Famouser, but it was only good enough for a two count by the referee as Alex kicked out.

Dolph was getting frustrated as he measured and was getting ready to end it with the Zig Zag. Alex used the ropes to get back on his feet. Dolph went for the Zig Zag, but Alex hung on to the ropes to counter the move before throwing Ziggler up and catches him with a pop up AKO. Alex smirked and slithered into the pin for the victory and the stipulation advantage.

While Alex raised his arms in triumph, Miz slid in and was ready for an ambush with the WWE title in hand as a weapon. Then the Pharaoh turned around and Miz attempted to hit Alex with the title, but the Pharaoh scouted it and ducked before taking down Miz with an AKO to fulfill his promise. The A-List Champion rolled out of the ring with the title in hand while he nursed his bruised moneymaker face.

Then Alex grabbed a mic.

Alex: Miz! Hey Miz, before you high tail your ass up out of here, I want you to listen close and listen good as I announce our second stipulation for our match! There will be no escape, no interference from your Miztourage, hell and no trouble from your idiotic musician friend of yours, there will be only pain and chaos everywhere, and you'll get to see how truly maniacal, sadistic, sick and twisted I am, because at WrestleMania, it will be you and me inside...

Alex paused for a second with a sadistic smirk on his face while Miz can only listen as his face was plastered with fear.

Alex: HELL IN A CELL!

The crowd cheered loud as the WWE title match got a major update while Alex's twisted smile was still on his face as he stared down at Miz who was shaking in fear while he clutched his WWE championship tight as he must defend it inside the cage known as by others such as the Devil's Playground and Satan's Structure also known as Hell in a Cell.

The show ended with Alex pointing at the WrestleMania sign while Miz clutched the title while he's shaking in his boots with fear.

The Miz (c) vs. Alex Auditore - Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Championship with the AKO banned
