Each step of life's journey felt like hiding in the deepest corners of melancholy, veiling my heart and pouring out my emotions on the ground like water. In every moment of relief, I took pills to feel like a mountain, but I found myself drowning in pain.

In the darkness, I felt like prey, torn apart, by the pain, it's just a man-eater. The black rose is full of bloodshed.

During my time as a security guard often working night shift I found my comfort in writing these poems. Painful night in particular captures the anguish of working a job I never imagined myself in, a moment that brought me to tears.
