Sole in the dark room, 
I cry when night comes, 
And daylight fades away. 
I am named in this book, 
Someone to save me. 
I whisper with pain as the night turns into day, 
Hoping for someone to hear, but you 
Turn a deaf ear to me.

I walk a path so cold and bare. 
The weight of the mountain on my shoulders is too much to bear. 
I am lonely in this grave. 
I cry out to the stars in the sky, 
Why do you reject me? 
Yet, you can see the pain in my eyes. 
The demons pierce my peace like thorns 
In the heart of my thoughts. 
Someone to save me from the pit of melancholy. 
I am a fish out of water. 
I can’t escape; life is near death.

Dear God, 
Your love is my salvation, 
A lifeboat in the sea of troubles. 
In your presence, I find my refuge. 
Your support is a soothing balm, healing, 
Sounds like a smooth voice. 
Your words are my shield, 
Protect me from the arrows of my enemies. 
Your kindness is a fountain of hope 
That quenches the thirst of my soul. 
Dear God, save me with your understanding, 
As a key that unlocks the doors to my spirit. 
You are the rainbow after my storm, 
A promise of brighter days. 
I am not a superhero without you. 
I am lost and feeling low. 
Yet in your hands is the way 
I wish to go. 
Save me. 
I implore you with the hope that you’ll never leave me.
