"You're the father of my baby and I love you. Isn't that enough not to get vex and jealous?" -Angela 

HUNTER's POV

I remained standing there while we're looking into each other's eyes with equal intensity. His eyes held contempt with a hint of confusion at the same time.

"Don't tell me you're here for Angela?"

"I don't have to explain my presence here to you" I said with a stoic face. Although what I did to Angela was not right, I still felt anger towards this guy because he revealed the truth to Angela before I had the chance to do so, to explain my side right away.

I wanted to tell the truth to Angela that day when this guy decided to be a meddler and told her the truth.

"How come you're here in the US, Ben? Don't tell me you're following my woman here" I said sarcastically. He scoffed.

"I don't have the obligation to tell you why but since you asked, I'll tell you. I found a job here"

"Good for you" I said emotionlessly and was about to turn my back on him when he spoke again.

"If you're here to pester Angela again, then I advise you to stop it now. She went through a lot because of you. You hurt her. She deserves to be happy and I can give that to her" My eyes squinted in anger. I wanted to punch his face until he loses consciousness because of what he just said.

"You don't have the right to tell me that. Yes, she went through a lot because of me but I love her and I want to make things right between us. I know she loves me too that's why I'm here for her and our baby. If that bouquet of flower you're holding right now is for my woman, then I advise you not to give her because I won't allow it. I'm her man, she's already taken so hands off. Find somebody else not someone else's" I said with a hard tone.

I saw the rage that registered on his face upon hearing what I've said. He was about to retaliate when my Angel arrived.

"Baby" She called with a sweet voice which made me smile. I quickly approached her and kissed her on the lips. She giggled after the kiss. She was about to say something when she noticed Ben behind me.

"Ben? What are you doing here?" She asked. I noticed her cheeks reddened in embarrassment as she pinched me on my side and then threw me a look like telling me why I didn't tell her that Ben was there.

Ben on the other hand looked like he just saw a ghost right in front of him. He was gaping at us like he couldn't believe what he's seeing.

"Y-You got b-back together?" He asked with a still shocked expression.

"Yes. My baby here already forgave me. I am really lucky to have her" I said proudly and snaked my arm around her waist then pulled her closer to me and kissed her temple. I looked at her because she suddenly became silent. She looked like she wanted to say something to Ben but she just remained silent as she bit her lower lip.

"B-But why? H-He deceived you and you just forgave him just like that?" He asked with an almost inaudible voice. The flower in his hand fell on the floor. My eyebrows creased as I stared at his expression and then to the bouquet which fell on the floor. Don't tell me he was here for....

I looked at Angela again and there was a look of guilt on her face this time as she stared at Ben.

"I-I'm sorry, Ben. I thought so too that I couldn't forgive him of what he did but I was wrong. Living without him felt like I wasn't living at all. I love him" I could see Ben's eyes brimmed with tears and I thought he was going to cry but thankfully he managed to pull himself together.

He then smiled bitterly and picked up the bouquet on the floor.

"I understand, Angela. B-But I am still hoping that our friendship will remain?" Angela nodded her head as a faint smile crept across her face.

"Of course, Ben. You're my friend and nothing has changed"

"Thank you. I'll be going now. See you around" Ben said with a forced smile but when his gaze landed on me, I saw a strange emotion in his eyes but I couldn't pinpoint what it was.

When he finally left, Angela and I walked to the parking lot, quietly. I heard her sigh for a couple of times.

"Why is Ben here?" I voiced the thought that's been bugging me since a while ago.

"When I came back here in the USA, we accidentally bumped into each other. He comes here from time to time or at my condo too because---" My eyes widened.

"He's been coming over to your condo unit?" I asked her through gritted teeth. Jealousy suddenly rose in my chest just by thinking that he's been sneaking to get closer with Angela while I wasn't here with her.

"Y-Yes"

"You've been letting him be alone with you?! I can't believe it!"

"Baby, don't be angry. We didn't do anything other than hang out together. He's just a friend" She explained before she wrapped her arms around my waist as she raised her head to look at me. I just stared back into her puppy dog eyes. I heaved a sigh.

"For you, he's just a friend but what about him? I knew even before that he likes you. There was something in the way he looks at you and I could easily tell what is all about" I said with a serious expression. Just thinking about the times that Ben had Angela's attention made me mad and the overwhelming jealousy was slowly eating my heart out.

She bit her lower lip as she looked down.

"Baby..." was all she could say.

"I know he likes you, not as a friend but as a woman"

"But he's just a friend for me. Why are we having this conversation? You're the one I love and you know that" She said with a hint of irritation.

"Because---Argh! I'm so pissed off with that guy!" I hissed which made her looked back at me.

"Hunter!" She almost yelled with annoyance. I could tell that I'm beginning to get into her nerves.

"What?" She rolled her eyes and opened the passenger door of the car. She was about to get in when I stopped her by holding her arm.

"Fine. I'm sorry that I am overacting right now. I just hate thinking that he had your attention while I wasn't here" I said but the displeasure about what she told me a while ago was still inside me.

"But baby, I have the right to get mad, right? You're mine and I hate it when a guy is approaching you especially that I wasn't here during those times"

"Don't you have trust in me?" Her face looked disappointed and hurt as she asked me that. My anger mellowed all of a sudden.

"No! Of course, I trust you. It's just that, I don't trust that guy. That's all" Her hands cupped my face as she tiptoed and gave me a gentle kiss on the lips.

"Then you don't have to get mad. I was angry at you during that time but I never thought of exchanging you with another guy. I admit, Ben confessed to me that he likes me but I already turned him down even before we got back together. Well, he didn't accept my answer though" My jaw tightened. How dare him!

"You're the father of my baby and I love you. Isn't that enough not to get vex and jealous?" She enquired. I heaved a sigh and nodded my head. She's right.

"Sorry, baby" She smiled and kissed my cheek.

"It's okay. I know how possessive you are so I'm used to it" I chuckled amusedly.

"C'mon. Let's go" She said. I helped her buckled up her seat belt before walked to the other side and got on the driver's seat.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yep" She chirped so I started the engine and drove off.

ANGELA's POV

I bit my lower lip as I stared at my phone which was incessantly ringing. It was Regan. It's has been two weeks since Hunter and I got back together. Regan took his vacation last week and now, he's been calling me since this morning to ask me about Hunter for sure.

I thought I was prepared to introduce Hunter to him as my boyfriend but I felt like I wasn't ready yet.

"Baby? Your phone is ringing. Aren't you going to pick that up?" Hunter asked. He just came out of the bathroom and he just finished taking his shower.

"Hmm...Don't worry about it. It's not that important" He walked towards me and then sat next to me on the bed.

"You look worried and anxious. You're hiding something from me, baby and I know it. C'mon, I'll listen. Tell me about it" He said while looking straight to my eyes. I looked at the other side and tried to avoid his piercing gaze but he put a finger under my chin and made me look back at him.

I heaved a defeated sigh.

"R-Regan...He wants to meet the father of my child"

"Really? D-Did you mention to him that I am your boyfriend?" I couldn't read the expression on his face while asking me that.

"No. But i'm----"

"Then I'll meet with him" he said determinedly.

"Are you sure? He'll get mad for sure when he discovers the truth" I told him. I saw him swallowed hard but then smiled at me at me like he's assuring me that everything's going to be alright.

He caressed my cheek while staring at me lovingly.

"I know he'll get mad. I deserve his wrath but I won't be a coward this time. I want to talk to him properly and I'll prove to him how much I love you" My heart swelled as he told me those words full of honesty.

"Really?"

"Of course, baby. I'll do anything for you" I chuckled softly as my heart jumped for joy.

"Then I shouldn't get worried then"

"You're right. You don't have to be worried. Trust me" He whispered before he claimed my lips with a passionate kiss. I moaned with delight and then kissed him back with equal fervor.

We kissed for a minute or two before we stopped and breathe for air.

"It's Saturday so why don't we go out and watch a movie together" I was sure that my eyes brightened with happiness because of that.

"Sure. I'll just take a shower first and then we'll go" I informed him.

"Want me to join you?" He asked with a naughty grin. I rolled my eyes.

"You just took your shower"

"That's not a problem. I can take a shower again" His eyes danced with mischief as he took off the towel which was around his waist. My eyes widened as he approached me and began taking off my clothes.

"What's the use of you showering first when you still join me now that I'll have my turn?" He gave me a lopsided grin.

"Just let me, baby. C'mon. I'll help you bathe" Judging by the playful smile on his lips, he's planning something naughty again. I couldn't help but to smile. Hay, my man really is h*rny!

"Look at all these baby clothes. They're so cute!" I exclaimed with excitement while holding two pairs of baby clothes.

"You're right. I'm sure these will look cute on our baby" He said.

We're in the mall. We decided to go shopping while waiting for the screening time of the movie we want to watch.

Hunter let me decide what movie we shall watch and I picked spider-man homecoming. He was surprised at first because he thought that I wanted to watch a romance film. I just laughed because of what he said.

"Are we really going to buy all these?" Hunter asked as he stared at all the baby things in the cart.

"Of course. I'm on my 6th month so we need to start preparing" I answered.

"I don't see any baby bottle in here, baby" He commented.

"I think we don't need that. I'm planning on breastfeeding our baby" He looked surprise upon hearing that.

"Really? You'll do that?" There was a hint of happiness in his voice.

"Of course. Why not?"

"Well, most of the women these days doesn't want breastfeeding and just gives their children formulas"

"Well, I'm not like most women. It's better for a baby to be fed through breastfeeding. It's healthier" He looked proud while staring at me.

"I'm really so lucky to have you. You're an amazing woman. I'm confident that you're going be a good mother to our future children" He said and gave me a tight hug. He then kissed my forehead affectionately which made my heart gone wild as always.

After our little shopping, Hunter put all the things we bought in the car. We then bought something to eat and then went inside the cinema.

Not long after that, we were comfortably sitting on our seats watching the movie and eating the popcorn and chips we bought a while ago.

My head was resting on his shoulder while his arm was possessively around my waist. He would kiss my forehead or temple from time to time and I couldn't help but to feel giddy because of how sweet he was being.

After the movie, we decided to have our dinner at the nearby restaurant. After our dinner, we took a walk at the nearby park before we decided to go home.

We took a quick shower together and then got dressed. He was so sweet that he even helped me put on my clothes. I didn't want him to help me at first because I felt like an invalid person but he insisted. Of course, my heart was celebrating because of his gestures. He makes me feel special everytime.

We were at the living room watching TV when someone rang the doorbell. The information desk didn't inform me about a visitor so I got curious who it was.

"I'll go get it. Just stay here" Hunter told me. I don't know why but I suddenly felt nervous. Hunter went towards the door but then it was more than a couple of minutes already but he haven't returned yet. I got worried so I decided to follow him just to be shocked when I saw my brother at the door and he looked mad.
