Quote: Of course your opinion matters, bitch....Just not to me.
"Good morning, ma'am. Its a Wonderful day in L.A and everything's set for your ten day couple retreat at the Tedler's hotel downtown. Your coffee is served, less hotter than normal and breakfast is served too. Your parents said to pick you and sir Caden up to the retreat and I've already dropped in your ten day off notice at the office but not to worry, everything's gonna be taken care off perfectly fine and there's absolutely nothing to worry about. Banks at your service and good morning once again,"
I opened my eyes and death glared.
"You made me spend almost two minutes of my morning listening to your rant," I mumbled.
"Uhm - " she started, puzzled.
"Urgh!" I groaned and stood up lazily from the bed, walking aimlessly to the shower.
I had a quick one and came out with my hair dripping water and Banks picking out my outfit.
"What's the couple shit gonna be about?" I asked as I dried my hair with the towel.
"Couple stuffs. You know - "
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes and sat on the dresser stool, ready for my makeup.
"Light, medium or heavy?" she asked.
"Its your job," I shot, having no idea what effect would be perfect for "the retreat".
An hour later.
"All done ma'am. Aye! You're an eye candy!" she complimented in a dulcet tone.
"I know, right," I replied and stared at myself in the mirror. I had really been missing so much on makeup and all that stuff. Jeez!
"Here. I'll help you with the outfit," she offered and got it.
I got the towel off and collected the hanger from her with a beaming smile on my face.
It was a pretty grey sleeveless off shouldered jumpsuit with this nice bow by the side of the waistline and these super cool floral designs by the pockets.
"Ma'am?" She called out in a shaky tone.
"what's the problem?" I asked.
"Your - tattoo. Its gone."
"What tattoo?" I asked, staring at her.
"You don't remember?" The heart you made with your papi's name on it. The one you promised him you'll never get off. Its gone. Look. Its gone." She replied, worried.
"Tattoo. Oh, the tattoo."
I stared at my tattoo less back as Banks eyes widened in fear.
"Forget it, Banks. I had it removed. It was - disturbing. Yeah, really disturbing." I said.
"Disturbing? I thought you had it done permanently." She doubted.
Now, i'm scared.
"Don't you think its a bit too cheesy? I mean, come on." I chuckled.
"Well, you definitely didn't think that when you had it done." She shot.
"Look Banks, my body is none of your business." I shot, already pissed off with the fear of getting caught sooner than expected.
"Sorry, ma'am." She mumbled and helped me with the zipper.
"Ow! Banks, watch it!" I yelled as the zipper blistered my skin.
"Oh, ma'am. I'm so sorry." She apologized.
I hissed. "Whatever. Just watch it." I sighed and stepped into the black ankle strap.
"Where is my bag?" I asked.
"Here."
"Let's go." I ordered and we both left the room and just about then, Caden walked out of his.
"First time in history. She's ready just in time." Caden yelped annoyingly.
"Seriously? Early this morning? Seriously?" I asked as we walked down the stairs.
"Yes. Seriously." He nodded with a smirk.
We had breakfast and just about five minutes later, mamasita and papi arrived in their black Bugatti.
"So, how's the newest couple doing?" Papi asked.
"We're good." I replied with a smile and gave him a hug.
"Mercedes?"
"Yeah, papi?"
"What happened to you?" He asked worriedly, staring at my back.
"What do you mean, papi?"
"The tattoo. You had one right here." He said, pointing at my back.
Curse the sleeveless off shouldered jumpsuit!
"Oh, the tattoo." I replied in a mumble.
"You've been acting weird ever since you got here. Are you sure you didn't leave a screw in your vacation?" Mamasita asked.
"Its just a tattoo." I argued.
"That's exactly what you said about hair. Its just hair. Tell us. What would be next? Its just a billion dollar?" She yelled.
Calm down, lady.
"I'm sorry I got the tattoo off. My mistake." I apologized, lowering my head.
What if they find out? I'm gonna be in a ton of trouble.
"Of course its your mistake. You're becoming worse than usual." She quarrelled.
"I said i'm sorry." I mumbled under my breath.
"Okay. Its alright. Just let it go. We'll be late for the retreat. Let's be on our way already, shall we?" Papi asked and we all got into the car and Lukas drove off.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°
"So, tattoo, huh?" Caden asked as Lukas drove away and we strolled down to the conference hall.
"Haha. Laugh all you can. You can as well get that mouth diarrhea of yours treated." I sighed.
"Whoa! Look who's talking big now!" He yelled.
"You're the big talker. Not me." I argued.
"Okay. Let's see about that." He whispered as we walked into the quiet room filled with a lot of young couples.
This should be interesting.
It was so huge and nice. Like an auditorium or something. With these red seats like you'd see in the movies, all built in rows, with so many of them all around and a huge stage at the middle.
We took the stairs that were all lined up in spaces around and took the farthest seat away. It was Caden's idea. I guess he was a backbencher back in the days.
We both sat down and expectedly, Mr. Perfect adjusted his seat, placing his legs comfortably on the next row and relaxing backwards.
I just sighed, shaking my head at his proud arrogant behaviour.
"Any problem?" He whispered.
"Not - "
"Nah, I don't care." He interrupted arrogantly and I just couldn't believe it.
"You did not just do that!" I whispered and he smirked.
Demon much!
"Good morning, young couples. As we all know, this is a ten day retreat for newly weds. Mostly celebrities. *Fake laugh* haha - - And, its the first day. Attitude. Gestures. Greetings. Love." A lady started off.
"Listen up, pumpkin. This one's specially for you." Caden whispered.
"Pumpkin?" I asked, turning to him. "Who the fuck is pumpkin?" I whispered.
"You, duh!" He chuckled.
"I don't do names, alright." I sighed.
"Then what do you do?" He asked. "Kisses?" He whispered.
"Hell no! Shut up already. You're gonna get us kicked out!" I whispered back.
"Kicked out? Yeah, right! I can't get kicked out of my own hotel. Tell that to the streets." He rolled his eyes.
No wonder he's so high and mighty and confident about everything. He just owns a hotel.
"For this session, we would be needing you couples to say something pleasant. Like, good morning, love. Or sweetheart. Or pumpkin - "
"I told you pumpkin works fine." He whispered again.
"You are so head over hills for yourself, aren't you?" I hissed.
"So, give it a try. And ladies, you make this really romantic, alright?"
"You heard her. Turn me on." He whispered.
"Ewe! Gosh! You are so dirty!" I yelled, slapping his back.
Everyone turned back at us.
"Oops - Sorry everyone." I yelled in the microphone.
"And you are way too clumsy." He face palmed.
"No problem, Mrs. Kensington. Your husband funded the program so whatever you do is not a problem." She smiled warmly.
"Told you so, pumpkin." He winked.
Why does money have to speak every single goddamn time?
"I'm sure you're feeling so high and tough right now, aren't you?" I asked and placed my leg on the next row of seats, relaxing backward.
"You can never imagine."
So, let's start." The lady said and a thunder of noise came from everywhere.
"Let's go, pumpkin." Caden whispered.
"Okay, how about this? Good morning, jerk face?" I asked with a sweet smile.
"How was you night, queen of witches?"
"Oh, it was wonderful. Thank God you weren't by my side."
"Oh, wifey. You have an odd sense of humour."
"And Caden, you aren't any better." I replied and we both chuckled, pretentiously.
"Its hard to believe you two are married." A lady from the back row whispered in both our ears.
She realized it. It was all his stupid fault. This pretentious "marriage" would fumble because of him. I cannot wait till that happens.
"Oops. You're bad." Caden smirked.
I smacked him on the shoulder and pouted my lips angrily.
Jerk face!
