Chapter 7~ A Fighting Family
"Hey guys! I'm Rohan Shakti aunties son you must be-" Rohan started to speak but his jaw dropped, "Dheeraj?"
"Rohan what are you doing here?" Dheeraj questioned, terrified.
"What am I doing here? What are you doing here?" Rohan said taking a step closer to Dheeraj.
"I'm betting you guys know each other?" Aarti said being uncomfortable.
Esha rolled her eyes almost to the extent of not caring.
"I don't know what you are doing here but I hope you don't come near Ash!" Rohan barked.
Dheeraj remained calm because he didn't want to start a fight in the respect of Mohan uncle.
"I called him here." Alisha claimed coming between Rohan and Dheeraj.
"Why? You called him here? Do you not care about your sister?!?" Rohan questioned.
"Ash knows. You don't have to worry about her." Alisha said turning giving the cold shoulder to Rohan.
Rohan made a fist but left to go back to the family.
"Ji-Dheeraj what are you doing with Pritam uncle and his daughters?!" Alisha asked, careful not to say Jiju (brother-in-law).
"I didn't know they were relatives of yours, we just met on the plane and carpooled here." Dheeraj explained.
"They aren't my relatives they are Shakti aunties friends." Alisha said reacting dispassionately to the way Aarti stared at Dheeraj.
"My name is Esha and this is my older sister, Aarti." Esha said extending her hand.
Alisha shook her hands with Aarti and Esha and told them to follow her.
"So, how was your ride here?" Dheeraj asked.
"Oh don't even get me started!! This thief stole my luggage! And so now I have no clothes or any books to read and even worse no headphones." Alisha grumbled.
"Stole your luggage?? Woah. You had an exciting ride here." Aarti commented.
"You can read my books, they are pretty good and I hear the train ride I pretty long too..." Esha suggested.
Alisha couldn't help but smile Eshas kindness made her hate them less, "thank you! I appreciate it."
"Where have you guys been? I have been dying of the heat and Rohan bhai (brother) is pacing back and forth arguing with Ash, and did I tell you that I'm hot??" Bhavya started complaining when she saw Alisha approaching the families.
Bhavya took another look at the person beside Alisha, "oh my god! Is that you?! Dheeraj??"
With that everyone turned around mostly with shock and stared at Dheeraj, who gulped.
"What are you doing here?" Shakti said in annoyance.
"Shakti I invited him!" Mohan said before anyone strangled Dheeraj.
"Why??" The Rajput family (Bhavya, Rohan, Shakti) said in unison.
"Because I can and I wanted to. It's that simple." Mohan confessed.
"Shakti why are you getting so heated? Dheeraj is such a nice boy! He helped me with the taxi, our luggages, and kept me company!" Pritam confront patting Dheerajs back.
"Pritam please, don't interfere in matters you don't understand. You don't know this nice boy like I do." Shakti said in disappointment.
"Aunty-" Dheeraj began to say but Mohan spoke up changing the topic, "guys come on! Your friends are expecting us and we can't be late! Come on, come on! Get your bags and let's go!!
"Please Mohan uncle, don't make it sound like we are going to England. We are going to a village." Bhavya said with tears in her eyes.
"Aare toh kya hua meri jaan? Humare gaanv koi England se kam hai? (So what my sweetheart? Are our villages less than England?)" Alisha said putting her hands around Bhavyas neck.
Moaning, groaning, and make funny noises Shakti and Bhavya decided to finally board the train and go to their friend who had been impatiently waiting for them. Rohan was still angry at Ash for inviting Dheeraj on this wonderful trip and keeping the Ahuja family in the dark made them even more confused about Dheeraj.

The Village
"Kahan rahe gaye woh log?? (Where are they??)" Reema whined being anxious.
"Tu itni tension kyun le rahi hai? Woh aare hain, yahan pe khati reke tera kuch nahi hune wala! Ja mujhe chai bana de, suba de wait kaar rahan hoin! (Why are you getting so tense? They are coming, standing here won't do anything! Go make some tea for me, I have been waiting since morning!)" Sushant said flipping the newspaper trying to hide himself from his dear wife.
"Chai nahi mili? Acha? Itni zalim cheez kisne ki?! (You didn't get tea? Who did such a cruel thing?!)" Reema said in complete sarcasm and being annoyed at her husband.
"Theek hai, theek hai! (Okay, okay!) I'll make it myself!" Sushant whined.
Reema pushed him back into his rocking chair, "jada English bolne ki zaroot nahi, use jo theen chai tumhe suba mili thi na, digest nahi hune wali iss chuthi chai ke liya! (No need to speak that much English, it's not going to digest the fourth tea you have had after your three cups in the morning!)"
Reema sat on her husbands lap bolting him to the chair so he wouldn't leave her side as she's going to have a panic attack soon.
"Romance ka mood hai? (Are you in a romantic mood?)" Sushant teased.
"Shut up! Mere dostoin ke saath kuch bhi ho sakta hai! Train delay ho sakti hai! Train mein bomb ho sakta hai! Train main looters aa sakte hain! (There could be something wrong with my friends! The train could've been delayed! The train could've had a bomb! The train could've some thieves/looters boarded on!)" Reema, the over-thinker, started to have her famous panic attack.
"Reema!" Sushant yelled bringing Reema into her senses, she was just worried about Shakti and her attitude.
"Budhe ho gayain hain paar sharam nahi aati! (Are so old but have no manners!)" A villager commented on seeing Reema on the lap of Sushant.
"Kyun budhoin ka dil nahi hota? (Why don't old people have hearts?)" Sushant said hugging his wife.
The boy turned around embarrassed but still mortified at the thought of two old people embracing each other.
"Veeru! Ja Govind ko la! (Go get Govind!)" Reema yelled at the boy making him face her.
"Main apke Govind ka secretary hoin ke mujhe pata hoga ke woh kahan hai? (Am I your Govinds secretary that I would know where he is?)" Veeru said running away.
"That boy is up to no good." Reema mumbled to herself.

The Train
"Rohan, are you still mad at me?" Ash asked taking a seat in front of Rohan.
"I think you should go back to your seat the train is moving and you can fall walking around all the time." Rohan said trying to get Ash away from him.
"Rohan, the train is moving 0.01 miles per hour I don't think I have to worry about me falling. Rohan just please don't be angry I did this for Alisha, she loves Dheeraj he is like her brother and I can't take him away from her." Ash said trying to convince Rohan to talk to her.
"For once in your lifetime do something for yourself, excuse me I have to go." Rohan said slamming his book shut and leaving Ash.
Aarti spied from a distance, "there is something about Dheeraj that turned this whole family off..."
"Why are you getting involved? It's not our problem." Esha said worried about her sister getting into a mess.
"Not our problem? This is our family! Of course we have to get involved and see what's the deal with Dheeraj." Aarti smirked.
"Popcorn?" Alisha asked the Ahuja sisters.
"Thanks dear, you are an angel!" Aarti said taking the popcorn and digging in offering nothing to Esha.
"Do you want some too?" Alisha asked Esha curious at Aartis caveman-like eating.
"No thanks, I'm fine."
Aarti pulled out a brown bag with her liquor inside it, in her words goes very well with popcorn.
"Is that liquor? How did you sneak that in here?" Alisha questioned.
"I always get what I want, one way or another."
