Your POV

Its been three weeks since I moved in with Laurence and we adopted Boots. Its been pretty great so far. Except the fact that me and him arent dating and that Travis keeps trying to make moves on me. I wish Laurence would ask me out or something. I mean we did adopt a child together.

"Good morning Y/N" Aphmau said running up to me.

"Good morning Aphmau" I said smiling at the thought of hanging out with my friend Aphmau.

"Want to go on a walk" Aphmau asked "Unless you have to get home and watch Boots"

"I would love to go on a walk, Laurence is watching Boots for me" I said starting to walk towards the forest.

"Speaking of Laurence, Garroth said that he hasn't been guarding lately" 

"Ya, he said hes gonna go back in another day, he just wants me and Boots to settle in, I think"

"Does have to do anything with Travis" Aphmau asked concerned.

"I-I dont know"

"Wow, I didn't know we walked so far into the forest" Aphmau said looking around at all the trees. Then I heard something not to far away.

"Aphmau, get up in that tree right now, if something happens jump off and go get a guard, Ok?" I said quickly pulling out an emerald green sword that Laurence gave me.

"No, I will help fight" Aphmau said confidentially.

"No, do as I say" I said looking back at her then at a nearby bush. 

"Over here, I hear her voice" A familiar voice said.

"Aphmau, go get Laurence" I said my voice shaking.

"O-Ok" She says running off.

"Well, well, well, looky who we have here, little Y/N" I turn around and see him.

"Zane" I said "Get out of here now"

"No can do little Y/N, I have come for my bride" He said smirking at me.

"Never" I said running up to him with my sword in hand.

~ Laurence's POV ~

I had just put Boots down for a nap when I hear the front door open. I quickly grab my sword and run up to the door.

"LAURENCE, Y/N IS IN THE WOODS AND NEEDS HELP" Aphmau said yelling at me.

Y/N 

"Aphmau go run and get the other guards and on your way tell Zoey to come watch over Boots" I said running out of the door.

Y/N please, please be safe.

~ Your Pov ~

Me and Zane's swords clashed together.

"You dont know how to fight Y/N" Zane said trying to make me fall down.

"I do know how to fight Zane" I said trying to push him down.

"HA IN YOUR DREAMS" Zane said his voice sounding demonic. I was distracted by the way his voice sounded and Zane kicked the sword that Laurence gave me out of my hands and into a bush. He then pushed me up against a tree putting his sword to my neck.

"'I do know how to fight Zane'" Zane said mocking my voice. "Now agree to marry me and I wont kill you, and if you dont Ill kill you and your dumb lover over there hiding in the bush"

I looked over at the bush and saw Laurence.

"Guards get him for me please" Zane said looking at Laurence.

"LAURENCE NO" I screamed as the guards started to attack Laurence. Tears were falling down my eyes.

"Dont kill him, I need him alive" Zane said as a guard was about to stab Laurence.

To my surprise Laurence beat all but one guard who was sneaking up behind him.

"LAURENCE BEHIND YOU" I yelled at him, but I was to late, the guard had already grabbed Laurence's sword and threw it towards Zane. Then the guard grabbed Laurence's hands and locked him in some cuffs.

"Laurence, lovely to see you again here" Zane said giving Laurence an evil grin.

"ZANE LET HER GO" Laurence said. I could see tears in his eyes.

"Dont cry Laurence, wouldn't want Y/N to see you cry" Zane said pushing me up against the tree even harder. I whimpered loudly.

"Zane, let him go right now" I said bravely even though I was scared out of my mind.

"And what will I get in return" Zane said loosening his grip on me.

"I-I-Ill marry you, but you have to promise not to hurt Laurence or anyone in this village" I said crying.

"I promise"

"NO NO Y/N DONT DO THIS" Laurence screamed.

Zane then gave an evil laugh and whistled really loudly.

"Im sorry Laurence" I said crying as Zane cuffed my hands together and forced me to walk towards his golden carriage. "Take care of Boots please"

"And dont you dare follow us or she will get killed" Zane said pushing me towards the carriage.

Just then I heard a rustle in the bush. And then Garroth's voice giving a command to his fellow guards. 

"No, no, NO" Zane said pushing me even faster. Then hiding behind a tree.

"GARROTH OVER HE-" I yelled trying to get him to find us but then Zane covered my mouth.

"They went over there" Laurence said.

"Ok, everyone take different sides of these few trees" Garroth said.

"Get up furball" Zane whispered in my ear I obeyed and for a split second he toke his hand off of my mouth and screamed.

"LAURENCE OVER HERE" I yelled. I then heard footsteps and felt Zane put his hands on my back and push my body closer to his. Then our lips touched.

"W-what" I heard Laurence say. I could tell he was going to cry.

Then I heard running behind me and then a scream. My lips were freed from that horrid kiss. Then I fell to the ground.

"How could you Y/N" Laurence said looking down at me, then getting down on his knees.

"I-I was forced to kiss him, I would never kiss him and you know that" I said crying then I heard a bow being pulled back. I looked next to me and about 5 feet away stood Zane pulling back a bow. He was going to shoot Laurence. He let go of the bow and I stood up in front of Laurence.

"Y/N" I heard Laurence yell.

I fell to the ground. I felt around on my chest and right where my heart was an arrow. I immediately pulled out the arrow and threw it on the ground next to me. I felt two hands on my back and I then realized that I was being lifted up.

"Y/N, please dont die, hang in there" I heard Travis say next to me. My vision started to blur.

"Y/N I love you, please dont die" I heard Laurence say above me. Then I realized that Laurence was carrying me bridal style.

"I-I-I love you too, Laurence" I said my voice low.

Then Laurence stopped in his tracks and looked down at me. Even though my vision was blurred I saw Laurence's face. I could feel tears on my face. They were either mine or Laurence's. Then my vision went black. Yet I could still feel Laurence's lips on mine. I smiled into the kiss. I could feel the magic flowing through me. 

"Wh-what" I heard Travis gasped.

"Y/N, your wound, its its healed" Laurence said.

And with that I fainted.
