"Where are we" Aph asked the question everyone was thinking.

"I dont know, this island still isnt showing up on my maps" Lucinda said looking down at her maps.

"It doesnt smell right" Boots said sniffing the air.

"Well, its somewhere to stay other than the boat, so lets set up camp" Aaron said gathering up some supplies and preparing to go to the shore.

Once we were on the shore, me, Boots, and Laurence set out to explore.

"Something really doesn't smell right" Boots said leading us through the forest.

"I agree" I whispered as I sniffed around and Boots ran off and Laurence sighed

"This place is weird"

"Its beautiful though"

"I know Y/N, but we should have stayed at home" and with that I turned to him "What do you mean"

He looked at me "We are wasting our time here, we should go home"

"Are you insane? We just gained land and we know this island has to have something to do with Irene-"

"There you go again with that Irene thing" he growls and his eyes flash red "Its so stupid and annoying!"

I stumble back before sprinting off into the forest

Aaron's POV

Four months. Three missing people. Two houses. One stone.

Four months. We landed on this island four months ago. Pretty long time, huh? Four months really does take a toll on you.

Three missing people. On our first day here, four months ago, Y/N, Boots, and Laurence all set out to explore. Much I explain any more?

Two houses. We have two beautiful houses built, and it only took us four months.

One stone. Only one. It was a light gray and it shone in the light. Katelyn found it one day while searching for the three missing people.

It all kinda connects, like a map of sorts I guess. Speaking of maps, we were currently set on making one of the island, which meant we had to travel around and make a map.

I was towards the west end of the island and no matter where I walked or for how long, the island seemed to go on and on.

I decided to stop walking and set up my camp. As I pitched my tent a bush behind me rustled and I slipped out my sword. I spun around and watched the bush quietly.

Out walked a sad F/C wolf. I frowned and put my sword away before picking up the wolf, which had resembled Y/N more than I could ever describe her.

"Y/N?" I ask it and the wolf barks loudly and I smile "Y/N you've been gone for so long!"

The wolf just barks continuously and I groan "Ok stop barking"

After a week of exploring with Y/N the wolf we had made our way home. She walked alongside me, with a little cloth around her fluffy neck to show she was owned in a slight way. Although I didn't own her, no one did of course, we just need to show that she knows humans, in case there where other lifeforms out here on this new island. You cant be too safe I guess, I haven't come in contact with anyone, but better be safe then sorry. 

We set up our camp by a beautiful blue lake, which I had named Blue-kin lake. There were many places I got to name, such as Wolf Tree, which was a very tall tree, in which Y/N had somehow known of.

We walked up to the tree and she ran around it for at least an hour. It had blue and pink and green leafs, which was odd since I have never in my life seen blue leafs. She tried climbing up it a few times which I found absolutely hilarious. That night we spent the night about a mile away from the Wolf Tree. I had gotten no sleep that night. The moon was brighter than it had ever been and the crickets and rabbits and other creatures seemed to be up all night long, singing their songs to the bright moon.

Even at one point, Y/N had awoke and started to sing to the moon. It was like her barks and all the other noises sung in harmony to the bright and beautiful moon.

It was beautiful, but I couldn't sleep, which made the next exploration day very hard. We walked up and down mountains and around rivers and over rocks and around trees. It was like the island looked the same everywhere, but it also didn't in a way.

There were two forests, they must've been a million miles apart, but they looked the same, and had the same rocks and trees and lakes in the same places, just flipped. This island was very odd, but I was sure that we could make it work for our towns. But it is going to be a lot of hard work, but knowing Aphmau, she wont give up. Which is truly what I love about her, she is always so ambitious and just lovely in every way. She always knows what she wants and what she must do to earn it. I can't wait to get back to her.

It has been twelve days. Twelve days since I thought I finished the map. Our rations have run low, me and Y/N have started hunting whatever animals we can find, which is mainly rabbits and mice. We drink water from the lakes we come across and we burn fires with the wood we chop down.

A few days ago it got so windy that sleeping bag had blown away, a long with our blankets. So I've had to skin every animal we find in order to keep warm.

Once I had finished my map, or I thought I finished, I started to lead us home, following my map, but we still havent made it home. It feels like we are running around in circles.

'Didn't we just see that rock?'
'Isnt that the tree we saw yesterday?'
'That river looks awfully familiar'
'We camped here three days ago, I could swear by it!'

No matter which way we walked, we couldn't find home.

Every other night the moon would shine bright, like it did that one night, and like magic all the creatures would come to life and sing.

I've begun to carve signs into trees, hoping someone will find them and follow them.

Even Y/N cant sniff out our surroundings, she cant even find out where we are.

I've begun to panic. Will I ever see my friends again? Will I ever see Aph again? What about my kids?

Didn't we just pass that tree?
