~ Your POV ~

"I know it helps" I said after kissing Laurence.

"Thanks" I heard him say through the closed door.

I had heard everything. Everything that Malachi said about Zane and Aaron. Zane knows that there is a divine fragment in this village. Yet he doesn't know that I have it. Lady Irene had given it to me in my dream. Lady Irene had said to keep it safe. And that I would know who to give it to at the right time. I wanted to tell Aphmau about the dream. As there are rumors about her being the divine warrior, Lady Irene. Lady Irene did look like Aphmau but a bit different.

"Mommy" Boots said waking me up from my trance.

"Yes Boots" I asked kneeling down to him.

"What was Daddy doing?" He asked "I saw his eyes go red and he looked like a bad guy, is Daddy a bad guy" He asked a bit scared.

"Of course not, Daddy was just a bit mad at the time, because the evil man Zane was.......cutting down to many trees in the magical forest of fairies" I said smiling.

"Oh, hehehehe" He said pausing for a second. "Mommy, I wanna become a guard like uncle GarGar and Daddy"

"No" Laurence said walking up behind me. "Its to dangerous, you could get hurt"

"But I wanna help protect and save people like you" Boots said happily "I wanna be a knight for a king and a queen, and I wanna fight dragons and save princesses" He said running over to a wooden sword and picked it up and pretended to fight a dragon.

"Hehehe" I said giggling. I had pretended to be a princess in distress as Boots saved me from the invisible dragon. As he claimed to kill the dragon I said "Why thank you Knight Boots" I also gave him a kiss on the head.

"It is my duty to save you Princess Mommy" Boots said standing up straight.

"Hehehe, ok then now that the evil dragon is killed and the princess is saved its bedtime" Laurence said picking up Boots and putting him on his shoulders and pretened to be a horse.

"TO THE BEDROOM" Boots said as he pointed towards his bedroom.

"Hehehe" I giggled as I watched them 'ride' off into the 'sunset'.

After that I went into mine and Laurence's bedroom and got changed into some comfy pajamas. And climbed into bed and fell straight asleep thinking about Laurence being my knight in shining armor.

~  Time Skip To Morning ~

I yawned as I woke up. I felt someone's arms around me and I slightly panicked,then I realized that it was just Laurence. I giggled as I slid out of his grasp and went to change. I wore a F/C shirt and some light brown leather shorts and my torn leather boots. Before I left I grabbed the fragment from the pocket in my jacket from yesterday and put it in my boot.

As I opened up the bedroom door Laurence woke up.

"Good ~ Morning sleepy head" I said smiling at him. 

"Morning sweetie" He said giving me a flirty smirk.

"Oh, dont give me that smirk Mr.Romeo" I said laughing. Laurence also laughed his cute little laugh. "Ill go make breakfast,you can wake up Boots"

"IM ALREADY AWAKE" Boots yelled, he was right next to me so 

"Ok, silly no need to scream" I said laughing. "See ya soon sleepy head" 

I walked out the door and went to the kitchen. I grabbed out 4 eggs, a frying pan, some butter, and some slat and pepper. I started the furnace and put down the frying pan. I cut a piece of butter and put it on the pan. After the butter melted i cracked all the eggs onto the pan and started to stir the eggs. As I was cooking I could hear Boots playing with his sword. Then I thought about Laurence and last night. He had turned to a shadow knight. My mother always said that shadow knights were bad and to never ever even go close to one. And here I am living in the same house as one. And in love with one. What would mother think of me now. She would most likely yell at me. Heh she tended to do that a lot. I laughed at the thought.

"Whatcha laughing at" Laurence said putting his hands around my waist as I continued to cook the eggs. 

"Just something that reminded me of my mother" I said. "Boots can you set the table please for breakfast"

"Yes Mommy" Boots said putting down his knight sword and ran over the kitchen and grabbed three glass plates. 

"Carefull Boots" I said looking back. 

"I will" He said looking back at me and smiling. Then he tripped over a crack in the wooden floor. I heard him scream a very high pitched scream as he fell. It all went in slow motion for me. He dropped the plates and they shattered on him and near him. I screamed as well seeing blood. Laurence ran over to Boots and picked him up running out of the door. I looked at him then back at the glass on the floor. The glass was covered in dark crimson blood. I snapped back to reality and ran out the door following Laurence and Boots. I was screaming my head off at Garroth and Travis as we ran by them towards the castle. I yelled at Kawaii ~ Chan and she started folllowing me, Laurence, and a very bloody Boots. I looked behind me to see Kawaii ~ Chan, Garroth, Travis and Malachi all running to see if Boots would be ok. 

Laurence stopped when he saw Aphmau. He yelled at her to come over and heal Boots. As she was trying to heal Boots I was crying in Kawaii ~ Chan's arms. 

"I-I-I cant heal him, my powers arent working" Aphmau said crying. I started crying even harder. 

"Shhh, Y/N ~ Chan, Boots ~ Sama will be ok, Kawaii ~ Chan promises" Kawaii ~ Chan said. What she had said reminded me of me and my mother.

~ Flash Back ~

Me, Joey, and Mel were all playing in our house in O'hkasis.

"Mel, can you set the table please" Mom said. It had been three years since we had moved to O'hkasis. And Dad had left us about 6 years ago. Mel was 8, Joey was 17, and I was 14.

"Ok" Mel said as she grabbed the glass plates and walked over to the table. I looked out the window to see Zane. Me and Zane have become really good friends. He smiled at me. It wasnt a normal smile it was an evil one. Maybe he thought we were playing a game. I giggled and waved at him. Then I heard a scream and glass shattering. I felt some glass shards on my legs. I looked behind me to see that Mel tripped on a crack in our floor. I never noticed the crack before. Joey picked up Mel and ran out the door, mom right behind him. I looked down at the floor and saw the white glass shards of the plates. Some covered in dark red blood. I jumped over the blood glass and ran outside. I didnt know where Joey, Mel, and Mom went. I looked down and saw a trail of blood. I started crying. I ran as I followed the red trail of blood. I stopped as I saw Joey on the ground and Mom on the ground kneeling near Mel. Mel had a deep cut on her heart. A large glass shard sticking out of it. 

"No, my baby, dont die please" My mother said crying.

"HELP HELP PLEASE SOMEONE HELP US" Joey yelled at people.

People started to gather around Mel. I walked over to her and kneeling down next to my mom.

"Mom, I promise that she will be ok" I said rubbing her hair.

Joey had run off to get someone.

I went closer to Mel. I grabbed her hand and squeezed it tightly. I didn't know why I was doing this but my body told me to. As I squeezed her hand tighter and tighter . A white light surrounding me and Mel. My mother ran over and yanked the large glass shard out of Mel's chest. I could hear people gasping and people saying some stuff about Irene. I looked at Mel's cut in her chest. It was slowly healing right before my eyes. Something in the back of my head told me to stop. So I let go of her hand.

"Why did you let go" Mel said "You promised Mom that I would be ok"

~ End Of Flash Back ~  

I wiggled out of Kawaii ~ Chan's grasp and went over to Boots. I yanked the largest glass shards out of his chest and ordered everyone to stand back. I grabbed Boot's hand, my body telling me what to do. I gripped his hand tightly. I felt my strength slip away from me and I gripped tighter and tighter. My vision started to blur but I continued. I wasn't letting go.

Not this time.
