CHAPTER 45

AUTHOR 'S POV

Aarav leaned back to his bike and stretched his hands.
Time was around 2 in the night .

The big bright moon was glowing  at his own glory ,chill airs soothing broken hearts and  he stood still waiting for the night to end and the fresh day to begin .

Its been like 4+ hours she pushed him out and he standing out .
Except the meaningful silence there was nothing happened much.

And all of sudden ,he heard a loud sound from inside .
Immediately he rushed towards the door only to see it locked ,he then rushed towards the window and saw yamini on the floor shivering in fear, crying loudly .

"Yamini....yamini " he called but she was busy lost in her own misery.

Opening the windows, he jumped in and rushed towards yamini and kneeled down in front of her .

Yamini 's eyes were closed tightly and her ears were tightly closing her ears  her lips shivered along with her whole body .

She had nigtmares,the sight of the bomb blasting and advik getting caught inside the building was haunting her.

She felt sorry angry ,pain ,hurt,guilty .

Gulping the lump formed in his throat ,his hands slowly grabbed her shoulders and gently squeezed it,assuring that he is here .

And for a minute yamini stopped crying and removed her hands from her ears,opened her eyes which were red and stared at him.

"We never had a conversation, shall we have, it will help you scold me,beat me do anything but just try changing your mind "he begged and she stared at him.

"Please " he begged and yamini looked away and nodded.

Aarav sat down on the floor in indian style and so did yamini .

For a minute or two the silence maintained and later he cleared his throat to start a conversation.

"Any news about adi" yamini asked  her voice was gravelly

"No not yet" aarav answered and yet again silence accompanied them.

"Don't have any rights yo say this but you need to get over him...adivik is gone and...we can't do anything and i swear its not like i am not trying to get him  "aarav told

" i don't trust you aarav ,its hard to trust when all i  have from past is the evidence of why i shouldn't trust anyone and adi was someone who no one can forget ,he was a true friend a person who did anything for his love "yamini told plainly.

"Let it hurt untill it can't hurt anymore,i am kinda use to it now ,i am so tired of losing everyone, tired of fake people and fake world  ,everytime is me myself who had wiped away my tears ,treated my wounds and tried changing for once i want to be loved and cared " yamini told .

She was talking her heart out without control ,she was tired of all shit happening and she wished it ends quickly.

"Everything will get better one day ,don't lose hope
You have been fighting since your childhood you are not a survivor you are a warrior and a warrior never gives up
Never seen anyone as strong as you ,you were someone who was brave enough to handle a beast all alone " aarav told and yamini chulked sadly

"My bones are stained with sins ,scorced from fires,broken by betrayals, cold in loneliness, soaked in blood and still i keep on fighting ." Aarav told and yamini stared at him.

"If a beast,a monster  a animal like me is living on this world why don't you ?
Why can't you? Will you let everything go waste  ,remember how advik and you went though all this
Did he work hard just to see you die." Aarav asked and yamini stared at him.

What he told was right but still yamini couldn't accept it!

"Why should i even live! For whom should i even live ?"

"You are the pot of water to my thirsty life yamini! I won't leave you ever "aarav whispered and yamini let her tears flow free .

"Call me selfish but i wanna see you living ,wasn't your dream to be a doctor ,get done with your surgery yamini,reach your dreams now no one is there to stop you from doing anything  ,you are a free bird again fly high!" Aarav told abd looked at yamini for answers but like usual she stayed quiet, her eyes were fixed down on the ground .

"I wanna see you alive  ,i wanna see you smiling again not with me but atleast far away from me " he whispered holding her hands and yet she still kept looking down.

Sighing aarav got up !

"I am leaving yamini ,take care "he whispered and took few steps .

"I agree"yamini whispered ,aarav stopped and smiled and nodded and went out.

Knowingly he planted the seeds of living in her.

She once had  no idea of what was happening but now everything was making sense .
Eventho she lost most precious things in her life ,she was slowly coming back .

She didn't trust aarav but she trusted his words !
He was someone who did what he said and her scars her the examples for it.

Hoping for everything to go better ,yamini laid down on the carpet and closed her eyes.

The next morning came sooner then they expected ,the cold city was silently drizzling.

Aarav stood out waiting for yamini to show up and after like 30 minutes she came out slowly ,she looked weak but was still glowing .

Aarav opened the umbrella and kept it above her head and yamini stared at him .
And tried to take it from his hands .

"Let me do it " he whispered and took the hospital bags from her hands and yamini started walking and aarav was following her.

Reaching the hospital doctors were making the process of surgery ready.

Ayesha was also there , aarav peeked through the small round glass and saw yamini laying down in the bed in a green hospital grown.

Taking a deep breath ,he walked back to the chair and leaned back.

His heart beats were loud and fast ,his seconds were passing so slowly and that was making him tensed .
It's gone be like 2hrs since she is in but he had no idea what was happening.

"How long will it take " he asked ayesha.

" they may come at any moment "ayesha told
She was nervous Same like him.

Few minutes later the doctors came out removing their gloves.

"Operation successful...but she has not gained her consciousness yet and we highly doubt...that she has her memory, they are high chances of her losing her memory be ready for anything "they informed and went away.

Aarav stood frozen, his lips went dry and all the blood in his blood drained  he felt something strong hitting him.

"Memory loss?" Aarav whispered
