Guys, it's time for you to be formally introduced to the characters from my first ever comic series.

Meet the Beetle Bunch

The most horribly named band of all time.

Not just even in the band name because as you may have noticed, their names are Mike, Spike, Ike, and Kelly.

UUUHHHH.

Okay I can do this gotta be strong.

So...

The Beetle Bunch was actually a slammin' heavy metal (or what I assumed to be heavy metal in kindergarten) band who got their name from an unfortunate setup by their evil manager Joe that they totally turned around and rocked (UUUGHHHH)

I literally drew their origin story why and why did Spike suddenly become way muscular???

The comics are very strange and all over the place, but they usually start with Kelly ordering a hecka ton of food (me)

Which is them delivered in a semi truck (ME)

Which she then makes Mike pay for (MEEEEEE)

Look at that face of betrayal

I loved Kelly.

She was rad

She was literally the most hardcore of all of them

*Kelly accurately represents me always*

Always pulling pranks on everyone

Look at the rage on Spike's face

And then the rest of the comic is just a bunch of random events occurring at radom

^^^My little sister added eyes to this one and it is very disturbing.  I remember being very angry.

AND not only were they a band, they were thespians as well!

They would all get assigned to a role (no tryouts, just assigned) which would be lame and stupid (except for Kelly, because little me couldn't do anything bad to Kelly)

I actually can't tell if this is Ike screaming at himself to go away or if that's the part he got
...

Doesn't matter Ike was the most irrelevant character anyway.

Besides that random baby

Spike is enraged by receiving the part of the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet.

Oh, but we haven't gotten to the juicy stuff yet.

There was LOVE DRAMA

You fake fans probably didn't read the character descriptions on the original drawing done in bad restaurant grade crayon, but if you had you would have seen that Mike has a crush on Kelly.

BUT KELLY HAS A BOYFRIEND

LOOK AT THE INTENSITY OF EMOTION IN THIS PICTURE WITH THE SMOKE POURING FROM HIS EARS AND YOU CAN TELL HE'S MAD AND NOT JUST OVERHEATED BECAUSE OF HIS ANGRY EYEBROWS

AT 5-7 YEARS OLD, I TRULY WAS A MASTER

Fred (Kelly's man) was in the original picture, but I cropped him out because I always disliked him as I was (*cough* am) a big Mikelly shipper...Mike+Kelly forever.  He was like the script boy or something... He brought them their parts in plays in like a box or something....

...idk. I didn't like him.

(Also I was drawing and my little sister was squishing blue flower petals onto the table and THEY KILLED GREG)

*Cries*

Well this was fun.  As an art challenge, you should try to search for the oldest drawing of yours and try to redraw it in your style now.

Wow, I say an awful lot of art challenges...maybe this should be a thing.

And art challenge every week or something.
