Chapter 6: Wondrous Changes
I was waiting for a few hours for Emilee to wake up. While waiting, I finally got to see what her room looked like for the first time. She had a dresser with a small tv on it next to the door. She had a nightstand with our first picture together on it. Her closet was a walk-in closet, but was more of a storage for personal belongings.
I also looked at her charm necklace. After analyzing it, I saw that it was an Everstone, which prevents evolution. While I was searching for a mirror to show her what she looked like when she evolved, her mother came in. From what she had told me, her mother had big, red hair, was gutsy, and had a fiery personality. She was speaking literally, because her mom was a Flareon with her Hidden Ability of Guts.
"Oh, Kilian! How are you," she asked. "I heard about what happened to you at school yesterday! Are you feeling alright?" "Yes, Ms. Flareon, I feel alright. How was your day," I asked back.
"Kilian, I would prefer that you called me Denice, for future reference. But, to answer your question, my day was great! It was going good already, and now my first born child is evolving! I'm so happy for her! So, if I may ask, under what circumstances did this happen?"
"Well, I asked her to go to the dance next week, and she passed out after saying yes. She might have been the happiest she had ever been." "Ah, so she's having a happiness evolution. Then the prophecy comes true." "Oh, come on," I yelled.
"First being Shiny, then Hidden Ability, then IV's, and now a prophecy! I can't get a break!" "Kilian, Kilian, calm down! It's not saying that you are destined to stop a meteor that will destroy the Hoenn Region! It says, and I quote, that if a off-colored dragon with a rare ability and that is overall better at battling from birth evolves, and an Eevee close to them evolves by happiness soon after, that they will live a long and fulfilling life together."
"Wow, that was an oddly specific prophecy. But, even though it's incredibly close-minded, It at least sounded nice. Emilee and I being together, I hope it comes true." Then, interrupting our conversation, a voice spoke out. "Yeah, I would like that."
I looked over to the bed and see a wondrous sight. A light purple cat, with tufts of fur under her large ears. Her eyes had white pupils and purple irises, giving a beautiful and mysterious aura to her. Her tail was forked at the end, and there was a red gem in her forehead. Emilee had evolved into Espeon, and it was everything I had ever dreamed of.
"E-Emilee? How do you feel," I asked. "I feel different. I can hear what dad is saying on the phone, my tail feels a lot longer, and Kilian, stop commenting on how I described my mom!" "Emilee, I didn't say anything." "Wait, what? Kilian, give me a mirror!"
I gave her a mirror, and after examining herself, she squealed with delight. "Oh my gosh! I can't believe I'm an Espeon! I had always wanted to be an Espeon since yesterday during 1st Hour! The color, the ears, the eyes, the tail, the abilities, I love it all!"
Just then, her father rushed in the room almost instantly. Made sense, considering he was a Jolteon. "Emilee, what's wrong? I came in as soon as I could," he said. "I'm the happiest I've ever been, and it's all thanks to Kilian," said Emilee.
Then her siblings came running in, saying something along the lines of, "Emilee! Emilee! Why do you look so different? Will you still be able to play with us? You look really pretty! Can we do that too?"
Having had experience with rowdy twins, I calmed them down. "Yes, children, Emilee is alright. And she'll still be able to play with you. She just has to recover from the evolution and fit into her new body. And, yes, when you get to be Emilee's age, you'll be able to evolve to!"
"I like you. Can you play with us," the boy asked."Can you tell us more about evolution," the girl asked. "Sure, but we'll have to do it a bit later," I said. They then ran out of the room, probably to go play in their room.
"Wow, Kilian! How did you get them to calm down and leave so fast," said Emilee's dad. "Well, sir, I have experience with rowdy twin siblings. It was easier then I remember it, but probably because they were both Eevees and not a Bagon and Gible."
"Yes, that would explain how you were able to get them under control, and Austin is fine for you to call me." "Mom, Dad, may I speak with Kilian privately?" "Yes, honey, just have Kilian tell us when we can come back in," Denice said. After they left, Emilee said, "Kilian, there's something I need to ask you."
