I was told that I was knocked out hard by Mr. Dennis' Counter, and afterwards I started glowing like a lightbulb for hours on end. "Why do I feel so different," I said. "I can't move my arms and legs much, I feel incredibly stiff, and my back feels boxed in.

Mom put a mirror in front of me and drops the bomb on what happened. The hit caused me to evolve into a Shelgon. The desire to protect, combined with not having the moves to do so, caused the armor on my head to envelop my entire body. I tried to get up, but even in strong, unmovable, biological armor, your every joint isn't immune to damage or soreness. I was told to lay back down, and to just spend this Saturday talking to other people who come to visit.

My siblings wondered if it was like being inside a closed package. Mom wondered what I wanted for lunch. "Well, that's interesting," I said, as I had never seen her without it.

"So, Emilee, would you do me the honor of being my date to the dance next week?" Emilee started freaking out, as she had been waiting for me to ask her for a while. She was acting like I had made her the happiest she's ever been. Right after she said yes, she fell to the floor, and like what happened to me, started glowing. I decided to put her on my back and carry her home, as she lived a house or 2 down. When I got to her house, I explained to her father what happened, and was told to take Emilee to her bed and to wait until she woke up from her evolutionary state.
