#33 Mr. Coffee Bean and Miss Sugar
Mr. Bean and Miss Sugar
Mr. Coffee Bean was bitter,
He was not sweet,
Unlike Miss Sugar.
Mr. Bean liked Miss Sugar,
But would they taste good together?
Of that Miss was not sure.
He was bitter, she was sweet,
He was caustic to everyone,
While she sweetens everyone she meets.
They sat beside each other,
In glass jars on the shelf,
And patiently waited to be together.
And soon, the next order came,
Featuring Mr. Bean and Miss Sugar,
They were so different, yet their mug was the same.
So Mr. Coffee Bean and Miss Sugar,
The acrid bitter and sweet honey,
Jumped into mug and finally came together.
The barista added hot milk,
Soon the Mr. and the Miss,
Melted to become smooth as silk.
They were a paradox unto themselves,
The opposite ends of the taste spectrum,
And the antithesis in the verses.
But yet, they created magic,
The bittersweet coffee,
That defied all logic.
The barista handed over the mug,
To the coffee deprived writer,
Who happily embraced its warm hug.
-found written on the back of a Starbucks tissue paper.

My love for coffee is out of this world. That's all I have to say :)
Tell me, do you enjoy coffee? Or do you live on it?(like me) Or do you prefer tea?
