TUESDAY
MC was just chilling in the Literature Club room. He was reading off in the corner. He watched as Monika pulled some cheese out of her backpack and started eating it.
"Want some?" she asked, extending the cheese towards MC.
"No thank you. I don't really like cheese." MC said, returning his face to his book.
"Oh." Monika replied coldly before returning to her bag. MC returned his gaze to the book. He wasn't actually reading it. He was using it to make him look busy so people wouldn't bother him while he thought. Ever since the beginning of the week he couldn't shake the feeling that someone was missing. He dug into the far reaches of his mind for an answer, but came up empty. He felt like he had lost a close friend, but he hadn't. He observed the three girls from the safety of his book. Monika, Yuri, and Natsuki.
"Alright, everyone! Let's share our poems!" Monika said enthusiastically. MC stood up ready to share. Yuri's poem was deep and meaningful, as usual. Natsuki's was her classic simple, yet hard hitting style. MC then came to Monika. He handed her his poem.
"Interesting..." she said as she scratched her none existent stubble. She handed it back. After a few statements on his work, Monika handed MC her poem.
I am black,
But i am also white.
Why? How TF am I supposed to know?
What is this curse that has been put upon me?
All because I didn't want cheese?
Plz halp.
"Ahhhhh," MC stared at the paper, long and hard "it's interesting to say the least. What's it about again?" He looked at Monika hoping she'd give him anything to help him understand what the fuck he just read.
"Oh, nothing specific. It's just about a struggle." she answered. MC looked at the poem some more.
"Oh I see," Monika shifted uncomfortably "is this about black rights?" MC looked up at Monika.
"YES! Yep! That's it! You got it! Black rights! Heh..." Monika hastily grabbed her poem back. "Ok, children! That concludes this meeting. Bye!" Monika then proceeded to quickly run out of the room.
"That was.....strange." MC said as he scratched the back of his head. He packed up his things and proceeded home. He laid in his bed that night reading a manga by lamp light. He was caught off guard, though, when he heard a crash from downstairs. He was a Japanese anime school guy, which meant his parents were off at sea or some bullshit, meaning he was home alone. He looked around his room and hastily grabbed a baseball bat before cautiously making his way downtown- ah I mean- the stairs. He looked into the kitchen and saw the stove light was on. He swore he didn't turn it on, but he must've. He went to turn it off when he noticed some cheese was spread around the floor. Now he knew he didn't do that. Then he heard it. It came from behind him. Music. A record sang.
"Just you know why..." He turned around and jumped at the sight of a giant panda standing in his kitchen. The panda just stood there, staring. It didn't even seem to blink. Its eyes seemed to burn straight into MC's soul. The panda then violently started knocking pans off hooks and onto the floor. It ran over to MC's fridge, opened it, and proceeded to tear out its contents and toss them everywhere. MC watched in shock as the panda completely ransacked the place. When the panda was finished, it dropped a single bag of cheese on the island and left.
