A bright sunny day in Gill's house in punjab.

Its 8 in the morning and Keart (Shub's mom) is making delicious breakfast for everyone. Lakhwinder (Shub's dad) is sitting in his lawn, reading news paper, and Shahneel in her room is getting ready.

Suddenly the door bell rang, Keart went to open the the door.

"Keart!!!" A lady squealed as soon as she saw her.

"Amarpreet!?!" Keart exclaimed.
They both hugged eachother.

( A/n : - Amarpreet Ahluwalia is Keart's childhood friend. Keart thinks that she is her bestfriend. But no,

Amarpreet is jealous of Keart because Amarpreet's son is not able to do anything and Keart's son Shubman is an successful Indian cricketer. Amarpreet competes with Keart in everything. She is double faced personality, who talks ill about her behind her back. )

"Tu yahan?!" Keart hugged her.

"Kyu nhi aa sakti" Amarpreet gave her a fake sweet smile.

"Are aa sakti khoteya tera hi ghar samjh" Keart said.

"Andar aa na!" Keart said. She came in.

"Aree Amarpreet tum?" Shub's dad (Lakhwinder) greeted her.

"Sat sri akal paaji!" Amarpreet said.

"Baithna Amar yahan baith" Keart said.

Just then Shahneel came down after getting ready. As soon as she saw Amarpreet , she knew that their peaceful day is not peaceful anymore.

Shahneel and Shubman, didn't liked Amarpreet and her family, because they knew, their whole family is very toxic and gold digger.

"Sat sri akal Aunty ji" Shahneel greeted her.

"Sat sri akal puttar, how are you puttar?" She asked in fake sweet voice.

"I am fine aunty, mai breakfast laati hu" Shahneel said and went inside the kitchen.

She came with a tray full of snacks and tea. They all settled down.

"Aur Amar itne din baat mere ghar kaise?" Keart asked.

"Ek zaruri baat batane aayi hun" Amarpreet said sipping her tea.

"Kya baat?" Lakhwinder asked.

"Mere bete Sidharth ki shaadi ho rhi hai!" She said.

"Aree wah ye to bohot achi baat hai!" Keart exclaimed.

"Are wah Congratulations" Lakhwinder said.

"Pata hai bohot bade gharane ke log hai, vo bhi humari tarah punjabi hi hain. Or kudi, Hayee kudi to bohot pyaari hai!" She said happily.

"Accha?" Keart asked n amusement.

"Or pata hai, ladki bohot badi actress hai " She said with attitude.

"Really?" Shahneel asked shockingly.

"Kon hai?-" Amarpreet stopped keart.

"Are ruk abhi or sun -" She said. Keart rolled her eyes.

"Paise wale toh itne hai ki pucho mat! sach me mere sidharth ke toh bhaag hi khul gye" She said.

"Kab hai Shaadi?" Lakhwinder asked.

"Abhi date fix nhi hui hai, abhi bas ladka ladki mile hai" As soon as she said that. Gill family started laughing.

"Kya? or tu abhi se hi itni kush ho rhi hai?" Keart asked chuckling.

"Haan to?" She asked in annoying tone.

"Are bhabhi ji, pehle shaadi ki date to fix hone do!" Lakhwinder said laughing.

They were all laughing, but Amarpreet was getting angry, her ego clashed in between. suddenly she too started laughing.

"Are kam se kam mere bete ke liye ladki mil to gyi, tumhari beti to 27 saal ki or beta 25 saal ka ho gya hai abhi tak dino me se kisi ke liye rishta aaya?" She said laughing.

They all became silent. Shahneel 's blood boiled due to anger.

"Mere to bade bete ki bhi shaadi ho chuki hai, or chote ke liye rishta bhi aagya, tumhra kya?" She said laughing like hell.

"Mujh par baad me hasna pehle apne baccho ka toh dekho, kahin jawan beta-beti humesha ke liye kuware na reh jaye!" She said and stood up laughing.

"Chalti hu" She turned to move but then stopped.

"Sidharth ki Shaadi ka card bhejungi dono baccho ko lekar zarur aana, kya pata mere bete ki Shaadi me tumhare bacho ki shaadi ke liye rishta mil jaye" she said joining her hands.

"Sat stri akal" She said with attitude and left their house.

They all were sitting silently.

"Mumma , don't think too much about that lady." Shahneel consoled her mother.

"Haan Keart , usne jo bola use Bhul jao. Iske alawa use aata bhi kya hai" Lakhwinder said sitting beside his wife.

"But vo galat kya boli , uske bade bete ke shaadi ho chuki hai, chote ki hone waali hai. But mere bacche?" She whispered.

Shahneel's heart broke into million pieces listening that.

"Mumma aap zyada mat socho" she said lowly.

"Haan Keart , uske baccho ko Shaadi ke alawa or kya kaam hai? Ameer baap ki bigdi aulaad hai vo" He said consoling her.

"Humare dono bacche apne career pe focus karte hai, Shub itna bada cricketer hai, Humari Shanu ki study bhi chal rhi hai" He said squeezing her hand gently.

"Hmm" Keart hummed, but Amarpreet's words were lingering on her mind.

"Breakfast karlo mummy shaneel said" Shahneel said, they all sat down on the breakfast table.

Time skipped.

Keart was standing in her balcony gazing the night sky. Lakhwinder saw her and came near her.

"Kya hua Keart ?" He asked.

"Mai chahti hu ki hum Shahneel ya Shubman me se kisi ki shaadi karwade" she said breaking the silence.

"Kya!?!!" A whisper came out of his mouth.

"Tm samajh bhi rhi ho , tum kya bol rhi ho?" He asked.

"Maine soch liye hai lakh ji , dono baccho me se kisi ki shaadi karwake hi rahungi" She said.

"Keart humare bache abhi apne career par dhyan denge. They'll not marry now" He said sternly.

"Nhi Shaad to hoke hi rahegi, ab ye meri iccha mano ya meri zidd!" She said firmly.

"Chalo mere saath" She said grabbing his hand.

"Par-!" He was about to say, but she stopped him.

"Maine aaj tak aapse kuch nhi manga lakh ji, hmesha aapki baat maani hai. Par aaj mangti hun , Shub ya Shanu me se kisi ki shaadi" she said.

She took him to Shahneel's room.

~Shahneel' s POV

I was sitting him my room doing some work on my laptop, when someone knocked my room door. I opened the door.

"Aree mumma- papa aap? Aaiye na" I said. We all settled on the bed.

"What happened Mumma - papa" I asked politely.

"Shanu beta you know na aaj kya ha tha?" Mumma asked.

"Aree mumma maine apko bola na, forget all that" I said.

"Beta Shanu-" Mumma said.

"Haan mumma bolona" I asked.

"I want you to get married" Mumma said.

"What?!?!!" My world turned upside-down.

"Kya bol rhe ho mumma?" I asked in shock.

"Sorry beta I know, achanak se hai But jo aaj Amarpreet ne bola tha vo bhi galat nhi tha, teri or Shubman ki shaadi ki umar ho chuki hai" Mom said.

"Par mumma? Papa mummy ko samjhao na!" I said lowly. Tears welled up in my eyes.

"Mumma papa please samjho, maine abhi apni life me khudki pehchan nhi banayi hai. Sab mujhe Shubman gill's sister ke naam se jaante hai, although I feel ready proud when they call me the indian cricketer's sister. But mumma I want people to know me by my name. Please mumma papa let me continue my studies, please" I said.

"Shanu tu ro mat beta" Dad hugged me.

"Mumma please mujhe abhi apne career par focus karna hai!" I said.

She cupped my face. "Ro mat beta shaant hoja!" Mumma Said

"Agar tujhe Shaadi nhi karni toh koi baat nhi Bas tu ro mat" She said, but  became sad.

"Lekin teri nhi toh Shubman ki hi sahi Shaadi toh mai karwake hi rahungi" Mumma said.

"I can't let Amarpreet laugh at me again" Mumma said .

"Shaadi toh hokar hi rahegi" Mummy said firmly.
