My hand slams down on the blaring alarm clock, effectively cutting off its annoying screams. I groan and feel around my nightstand searching for my phone. I sit up slightly and grin in victory. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I turn on my phone to look at the time. I hiss as 6:30am tries to burn itself into my eyes. The sounds of the kitchen stove being turned on alerts of that breakfast is being cooked, and that I should probably get dressed soon. Yawning, I stretch being careful not to pop my back after what happened last time I did that in earshot of my roommates. I glance around my room. I've never been the most organized person in the world but I do appreciate things being in order. My laundry basket is nearly spilling out dirty clothes in the corner across from me and the trash hasn't been taken out in over a week. My, almost uncomfortable, bed is in the far left corner from the door, my closet to the right of the bedroom door, my desk filled with figurines and pictures surrounding the computer in between the hamper and closet. A full length mirror leaning against the wall between my bed and pile of laundry. Posters and paintings litter the rooms walls and an easel is propped up between the closet and door. Grinning in contentment, I trudge over to the closet and grab my F/O.
I open the door and walk across the hall to the bathroom to get ready for the day with a quick shower, brushing my teeth, and changing. Then hair and, just a little, makeup. Really just eyeliner and mascara. Managing to get this done in just about an hour I unlock the bathroom door and move to the kitchen where Papyrus hopefully has breakfast ready. Although he may not have been the best cook when we first met he has certainly improved. Instead of just making spaghetti, he's now mastered lasagna, tacos, soup, enchiladas, and almost surprisingly several types of pies. I mumble a good morning to one of the cooler skele-bros I'm roommates with. "Good Morning Y/N!", he greets using his best inside voice knowing I don't like too much noise this early in the morning. A smile creeps up my face as I remember the first time we met 3 years ago.

It's the first day of my second year at Mt. Ebbot University and currently a hour into orientation. As I was walking around I had met a few of the newly freed monsters such as Undyne, her girlfriend Alphys and Napstablook. Although it did take a bit of coaxing, I was able to get Napstablook to open up a bit and found we had Math, History, and orchestra together. Well actually, I had orchestra but he had band. I smiled to myself and shook the memories out of my head as I walked over to an intro to cooking class. I knew how to make some meals sure, but I mostly just wanted to take the class as a refresher and to help my parents stop worrying about how healthy I was eating. Constantly eating pizza and instant noodles can't be good for my health apparently. As I walk into the medium-sized classroom, I notice a tall skeleton talking very...excitedly to the teacher. I laughed to myself at the skeletons obliviousness to how uncomfortable he was making the teacher. I debated going up to save the poor guy. Knowing I'll probably regret this decision. I begrudgingly walk up to the teacher and stammer a, "Um excuse me..." as I motion for his name. He thankfully understands and almost screams out his name, "THE GREAT PAPYRUS." I wasn't sure he even realized how loud he's being. "The great Papyrus, I was wondering if you were done asking the teacher questions? We have a long line a students waiting to ask questions who also have more classes to go to. And I'm sure you have other classes to get to as well." I say trying to use the persuasion skills I so often use on my parents. It seems to get through to him that he should hurry up. "WHY YES I DO HAVE SOME MORE CLASSES HUMAN! YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!" He yells out again and runs off in a fairly comical fashion. Letting out a relieved sigh, the teacher thanks me and hands me my syllabus.
I was spent and thankfully had about 4 hours before math, just enough to get into my dorm, introduce myself and decorate a bit. Grabbing my keys I walk to the door where I would be spending the rest of the school year and unlock it. I look around the room, it seems that my roommates have already been here and are obviously making themselves at home. I just hope they won't be anything like the people from last year who wouldn't clean up after themselves. I almost shiver in disgust at the memory. "Hello?" I ask shaking myself out of those thoughts and taking some steps inside. "'sup, you our new roommate?" a deep voice asks from behind me. I let out a startled yelp and quickly bring my arms up out of habit. What? Having 2 rough house siblings is dangerous. "whoa sorry kid didn't mean to make you jump out of your skin," was..was that a pun? "SANS STOP TORTURING THE HUMAN WITH YOUR TERRIBLE PUNS," and was that Papyrus?
-----------------------------LINE BREAK-------------------------------
Yeah, good times. The wonderful fragrance of food snaps me out of my musings. "Mmmmm Smells delicious as always Paps," I say complimenting the early riser. "Why Thank You Y/N. Is My Lazy Brother Still Asleep?" He asks setting up the table. "Well considering it's Friday and he was up later than usual last night finishing up the physics project that was dumped on him, most likely," I say humming in delight when a plate filled with eggs, bacon, and toast are placed in front of me. He hums in response smile faltering at the mention of the 'group' project. "Well I Suppose He Can Sleep In For 15 More Minutes, To Let The Food Cool Down," I smirk at his half-hearted excuse. "Whatever you say Boss," I say mock saluting him. He shakes his head at my antics before sitting down to eat his own food. We sit in silence, the only sound coming from us eating. I glance in the direction of the clock. "Should I wake him up today?" I ask looking back at Papyrus. I only get a nod in response. Pushing myself reluctantly away from the food I walk towards Sans's door.
Opening the door I take a deep breath before walking in. The room is littered with random notes and sketches. A treadmill is in the far right corner of the room and 'sock collection' is in the corner to the right of the door. Trying to ignore the mess around me I focus on the daunting task of waking up the skeleton. I walk over to his bed noting the sheets weren't to tossed about so no nightmare. Relaxing slightly I grab Sans's hands and drag him half-off the bed. Nothing. Sighing I pick up the smaller-yet-somehow-heavier skeleton and lay him down in the middle of the floor. Nothing. Knowing loud noises won't wake because he lived with Papyrus longer then anyone, I go to the bathroom and fill a bucket we have in there for situations just like these up and grab a towel while I'm there. Clambering back to the room I try not to spill any water before setting it down next to the Sleepy bones head. Lifting him up slightly I lay the towel down hopefully slowing the water down. I sit back and look at Sans's peaceful face. Grinning deviously I grab the bucket and spill the ice cold water over the shocked skeletons face. "i'm up! i'm up!" He says gasping slightly when some water got in his mouth. "jeez kid water you thinking," I drop the bucket on his head.
I finished cleaning up the table before heading to my room to finish up my physics project. Even though Sans has a project as well in his physics class we actually have very different teachers and classes. Sans's teacher is really nice but the students there are 'kinda' mean and dumb. While my teacher is actually kinda weird and claims credit for our projects and my peers are smart and nice. Sighing I shake these thoughts out of my head and focus on preparing my project. We were told to build a working portal to an alternate dimension. This actually kinda worries me because I know theoretically mine could work. That in itself doesn't worry me, it's the reaction my room-friends would have. They'd probably freak the fuck out. Like almost destroying the school freak out. After all they wouldn't want another reset to happen. Sans was ready to be kicked out and sent to the insane asylum when he told me. Papyrus had just woken up from a nightmare when he told me he remembered. And I'm pretty sure they aren't the only ones, besides Frisk and Flowey. I just hoped the class would be over and done with soon. I checked the time. 9:00am flashed at me from my alarm clock. I quickly got to work knowing I had a 30 minute time crunch.
