The Secret Payment
"Pansy. I need you to let Harry out of his contract for his apartment." Draco said into his phone as he bounced his son in his arms.
"Can't do that, Draco. Him and Ginny bring a lot of money in." Pansy replied.
"Pans, he can't afford it with his wife in the hospital." Draco told her. "Can't you let him out of it until he can afford it again?"
"Draco, I can't just 'forget' and put a contract-"
"Why not? You did it with me when Astoria died and I only had my income to pay for everything. Now I'm back on my feet, and I can pay you." Draco offered.
"Draco, it's different, your contract was almost up anyways-"
"Pansy, please." Draco begged. "He won't have any money to eat or send his son to school."
Pansy sighed. "I...I guess I could let him out. But he still needs to pay the 350 dollar fee."
"Pans, he doesn't have the money." Draco sighed.
"Draco, I wish I could just let him out of everything. But this is what my boss wants. I could get fired if I don't require the fee." Pansy said sadly.
"No, you won't get fired. Just," Draco grabbed a check and wrote it out for 350 dollars. "Which one of your mailbox thing?"
"The third one from the top," she told him softly. Draco shoved the check in the box.
"There. I payed for everything. Now let him out of the contract."
