The Feeling
Harry was laying with Albus on the couch, sighing loudly. Draco raised an eyebrow, looking up from The Bane Chronicles.
"What's wrong, Harry?" He asked.
"Just can't get my mind off of Ginny," Harry mumbled, playing with Albus' unruly hair.
Draco got a weird feeling in his chest, as if his heart was going numb and his breathing got staggered. "Well, just forget about it-well no don't forget about it- but just think of it like she's taking a long nap." He offered.
"Draco, I love her." Harry said. The same feeling shanked itself into Draco. "I can't just forget about her being in a coma that she probably won't wake up from,"
"How about we go out?" Draco said. "I'll get Pansy to watch the kids, you and I can go out for dinner or something. We can get her off your mind,"
Harry nodded. "That sounds good. Draco, is pansy your girlfriend?"
Draco snorted. "Oh please, Harry. Both pansy and I are as straight as your hair."
"Wait you're gay?" Harry asked bluntly.
"Yeah, problem?" He asked worriedly.
Harry's eyes widened. "Oh, Draco no of course not! It's just I never thought you'd be gay, you had a lot of girlfriends in highschool."
"Cover ups," Draco waved him off.
Harry hummed. "What's it even like being gay?"
"Uh, instead of liking girls I like boys?" He raised his eyebrow.
"But you were married to Astoria." Harry said.
Draco sighed. "Astoria, she was different. She was an exception. She was the only girl I've ever been attracted to and loved. She wasn't a cover up. I actually loved her."
"So you don't regret marrying her or anything?" Harry asked. "Sorry that sounded really rude,"
Draco chuckled. "No I don't regret it. I wouldn't have my baby if she hadn't married me," Draco cooed down to scorpius, who giggled.
"That's me," he smiled.
"It is," he smiled back
