Part 2 - Crazy Monster Fight Scenes, How Typical

It took me a few seconds of comprehending what was standing right in front of me until my senses told me to run. I looked around to see if there was at least one person to witness what was happening, but it was just me, either losing my mind or actually being chased by a gigantic, ferocious Forest Demon.

OBJECTIVE #1: FIND YOUR WAY OUT OF THE ALLEY AS FAST AS YOU CAN

I started towards the end of the alley way, running in a medium pace, going faster once it had been confirmed that there really was a huge monster catching up behind me. I was at a state in which I was at a loss for words, and was right before the urge to faint, but a sense of reality was sort of reminding me this is actually happening. This is actually happening?..it all seems so...surrealistic. I guess this could be an acid trip, but I don't recall doing anything before I got here. The whole scene seemed to stretch out, making the outside world nearly impossible to reach, I turned around once more, making sure if all of this was real, and oh my God it was still there... My heart began to beat faster, and faster, as I heard a distant roar of the monster behind me, becoming louder by the second as it catches up to me. My adrenaline rush began to die down as the stabbing feeling of a cramp started to surface, and I tripped on a small rock that was inconveniently placed right in front of me. My hands had been scraped by the jagged surface of the gravel as I fell down in a quiet thud, there was still a long way to go before I reached the end of the alley way, and the 'Forest Demon' was getting closer, and closer, that I had to think quickly if what to do next.

Think fast, think fast! What can I do?  I'm running out of time so I need to come up with something... there are a couple of trash cans, pieces of crumpled garbage, that cat, that garbage lid...

It was running faster by the second, its arms over its head, ready to bash it over mine...at that point, I quickly turned over to grab the garbage lid, and held it over my body, just as the Forest Demon brought it's fist down on me. Almost everything was black... for my eyes were shut tightly, thinking it wouldn't be able to see me. All I heard was a loud screech before I opened my eyes to see what surrounding me was, what seemed to be, raining blue pixels.

Each tiny little cubes landed on the ground, some began to bunch together, forming something. I raised the lid to see the monster, losing its consciousness for it had lost its arms. The little pixels molded into some shape that looked somewhat like a...sword.

 OBJECTIVE #2: FIGHT

 No, no thank you...

By the time I reached over to grab the sword, which was surprisingly lighter than I thought it would be, the Forest Demon already got back up to it's feet and was ready to fight again. And I was ready too, ready to fight back.

It sped up it's pace and when it was just about to hit me, I swung my sword around, hitting his stomach, and a huge gush of pixels exploded from him, which were later vanished into thin-air like it was...glitching out.

This sword actually managed to, not only harm the beast but also glitch part of it out of existence! Then I realized, It wasn't like any other sword, no, but it was The Legendary Crystal Blade.

My ears twitched as the monster released a shrieking sound from it's jaws, but it wasn't enough to keep it down for more than a moment. It quickly got back up again and continued to chase me around the alley-way. Just in time, I swiftly grabbed the garbage can lid as a shield, and spun around to jab it on the leg. It violently flapped it's enormous wings, which almost knocked me off my feet, but I regained my balance as it's leg stopped spewing out little pixels. It ran for me just before I jumped up into the air, unexpectedly, so high that I was able to bring my sword down upon it's skull, just like how I fought it the first time. Gravity started to take control over me as I dropped to the floor, seconds after, hearing the loud and ferocious roar. How did I do that?! I thought, How did I jump so high? Although, I have to admit, that was pretty coo-

A quick sense of instinct caused me to turn around at the right moment, just as it was about to hit me once more, I blocked the hit with my shield and already found my sword stuck in one of it's internal organs. If it had any internal organs. As I released my sword I begin to see the monster disintegrate, until every part of it was gone, and the battle was finally over. Thank God. But it wasn't all over yet. For tiny little pebbles began to appear after the Forest Demon had finally "died", they all dropped to the floor a few seconds after. Those tiny little pebbles turned out to be money! Or, according to Odyssey, "bits". A form of currency in the village that were mostly harvested from gold. Awesome! I have gold! There was another object which seemed to resemble a ring. Perhaps, the Willow's Ring. Huh, I was looking for that... Then one more thing formed from the small pile of pixels, it was a tiny little 8-bit heart. Words began to formulate onto midair that read,

 !!YOU WIN!!

REWARD - 30 BITS, A WILLOW'S RING AND A HEART

CONGRATULATIONS, YOU GAINED A LIFE POINT

CONTINUE JOURNEY?

  "Hell no."
