'In the third stall of the girl's bathroom on the third floor of the old building... Lives The twins, Hanako and Hatsume-san, who grants a wish to anyone who summon them. But in exchange, The twins take something precious from them.'

A girl with long white and green hair enters the bathroom, on her school uniform was a skull brooch that she wears where ever she goes. But what made her appearance unique is her rather chubby ankles which earned her the nickname, "Daikon legs."

'To call them, knock at the door three times...'

The girl approached the third stall of the bathroom with noticeable fear on her ruby red eyes. With hesitation she knocked on the third stall thrice and whispered quietly.

"Hanako-san, Hatsume-san, Are you there?" The girl's heart was beating rapidly as she waited for an answer. She could feel it slightly jumped when the door creaked opened.

"We're here...." Two voices said in unison.

She closed her eyes in fear. The girl waited for the two rumored ghost to appear in front of her, but they didn't. She opened her eyes only to see the stall open but with no one inside. She sighed in relief. "Oh, It was just my imagination."

As she said that,a cold hand was placed on her shoulder, and a voice whispered on her ear. "Behind you...."

The girl trembles as she screamed and launched a hand towards the person to try and hit them. But her hand just went through the person's face making her panicked even more, she then backed away and curled into a ball on the corner of the room.

The sudden laughter of a boyish voice followed by a few feminine giggles made the trembling girl look up, confusion and fear was visible on her face. 'A boy?'

"Are you alright?" Same boyish voice asked now from behind her. This caused her to panic, allowing herself to back away again only to hit a wall.

"We didn't mean to frighten you." The same feminine voice, now being much more timid tried to calm her. The white haired girl looked towards the voices and realization hit her.

'Two translucent Body,
An old uniform,

Ghostly orbs...'

"T-the two of you a-are-"

"We're ghosts..." The translucent boy said as he floated and sat on top of the third stall toilet. The boy has raven black hair and yellow mischevious eyes. On top of his head has a black hat that goes perfectly well with his old school uniform. He also have a white patch with the written world 'seal' on his left cheek.

"The two of us, are the seventh of the seven mysteries of the school..." A translucent girl wearing a black and red kimono then floated towards the boy and sat on the stall, just above the boy. She has long (h/c) hair, some of her bangs were held together by a beautiful flower clip, She has soft (e/c) eyes that held kindness towards the white haired human girl. Like the boy she has the same white 'seal' but on her right cheek.

"Hanako-san.." The boy said.

"Hatsume-san.." The girl said.

"Of the Toilet. Pleasure to meet you." The two said in unison. The Daikon like girl stared at the duo in disbelief. "Yo-you two are Hanako and Hatsume-san?!"

"You got it.."The ghost boy, Hanako then raised hands to form two peace sign. The ghostly girl, Hatsume smiled.

"Y-your lying! Where's your bob cut?! And Red Skirt! Plus your a boy!" The girl shouted.

"That stuff is out of fashion these days..." Hanako responded.

"Fashion?!"

"You can call me Hanako-kun."

The white haired girl sweatdropped. 'This Ghost is suprisingly trendy!' She then pointed at the giggling (h/c) haired ghost. "What about her?! You two look nothing alike! Are you even twins?!"

"N-no we're not twins or siblings." Hatsume stuttered. Hanako then floated towards the ghost girl and slung an arm over her shoulders.

"I am indeed a boy. Aside from my gender and being related with Hatsume, all stories you've heard of us are true." Hanako said, his arm still on the said girl's shoulder who then slapped him off of her.

Hanako pouted as he rubbed his stinging arm, Hatsume sighed and continued. "B-Both of us will g-grant the wi-wish of who summons us. For a p-price ofcourse."

"Don't you have a wish? Well then, let us hear it!" Hanako cuts Hatsume off making her flinched. The white haired female who was still a bit shaken at the two ghosts' appearance then answered, staring at Hanako who was smiling brightly.

"Are you sure... your not a perverted ghost, who uses girls, like Hatsume-san to please his desires for lust?"

The room went quiet. Hatsume sweated a bit while glancing at the still smiling Hanako. But then, in a flash-

"I'm done... Bye.." Hanako then walked away almost disappearing when The daikon legged girl screamed after him.

"I was just joking! A boy Hanako-san is so cool! Plus Hatsume-san is gorgeous!" The ghost girl blushed at this and played the fabric of her kimono sleeves in embarrasment.

In a blink of an eye, Hanako was infront of The human girl beaming happily while holding a notebook and a pen. "Do tell your name and wish! I am all ears!"

The girls sweatdropped at this. 'What a shallow guy.' The white haired girl thought as she raised her hand and began to introduce herself. "I'm Yashiro Nene, a highschool student from class 1-A! I want the guy I like to fall inlove with me this instant!"

Hanako wrote this down, Hatsume peaking over his shoulder. "Yashiro. And what you want is Romance..." The (h/c) haired girl then spoke up. "A-and his name is?"

"Minamoto-senpai, a second year! He's hot, has good grades, and is very nice. His amazing! Our school Prince!" Yashiro showed the duo, The charming guy's photo which was obviously that she took when he wasn't looking.

"H-he is hot.." Hatsume mumbled, Yashiro's eyes sparkled while Hanako stared at his other half in horror.

"I know right?! He's a dreamboat! Say, Hatsume-san, have you ever dated someone? Or maybe liked a guy before?!" Yashiro asked in excitement as she approached the ghostly beauty. But before the girl could respond, two arms snaked around her waist, hugging her from behind.

"Sorry, Yashiro... But the only guy that Hatsu-chan needs in her life is me~.." And with that, Hatsume flipped Hanako off of her and slammed him into the ground.

"Ugh... Okay, We'll grant your wish." The boy said groaning in pain. Yashiro squealed in delight.

"Hooray! So how do you two make everyone's wishes come true? Do you have any magic items?"

"Yep. In fact, I have something incredible here." Hanako finally stood up and reached something from his pocket. Once he showed Yashiro the item, all of her hopes were crushed. "Here you go."

Hatsume recognised the book and deadpanned. 'Ofcourse, Why do he still have that stupid thing...'

"This might not be a suprise to you, but anytime you ellicit services from a ghost like me and Hatsu-chan, you have to pay a price. Should you desire for powers beyond human understanding, a larger fee is required. So it's safe if we use this." Hatsume was then tackled and hugged by Hanako who rubbed his nose against her neck. "And besides, I use this book on Hatsume all the time."

"But...I want those powers..." Yashiro said hestitately.

"Oh... Well, I don't have any magic items on me, sorry!" Hanako said as he finally let go of his beloved companion.

'Huh?! How is this gonna to work? Eh Hanako and Hatsume-san grant wishes! Pretty sure that They granted wishes related to love back then.' Yashiro thought hopefully as she stare on the duo who were currently reading the book.

"H-how about this one?" Hatsume pointed on something on the book making Hanako read the part that she was recommending.

"Method 78: Capitalize your special abilities." He then closed the book and look towards the Daikon Human girl.

"Yashiro, Do you have any special abilities?" Hanako asked.

"Wow, It's a field!" Hanako stared at the flowers and plants around him. Hatsume float next to a few batch of flowers closest to her and smell them.

"It's our school garden! But this isn't an agricultural school so it's really cramped." Yashiro said as she was already in her gardening working clothes and was braiding her hair.

"T-this is your special ability, Yashiro-san?" Hatsume asked the daikon like girl.

"Heh. I'm the gardening club." Yashiro said as she then grabbed a hoe and plugged it into the dirt. "My specialty is growing things from the ground."

The ghostly duo stared at each other then at the human girl. 'She's hopeless...' They both thought.

"What's with that reaction?! I plant flowers! Isn't that really girly?!" Yashiro exclaimed but then sighed and rested her hand and chin on the handle of the hoe. "But the again... I guess it isn't that cute."

Hanako and Hatsume look at her in confusion but didn't say anything and allowed Yashiro to continue talking.

"I started gardening... Because the guy I used to like mentioned that he really likes feminine girls... I learned how to cook and sew as well. I was going to confess to him after I gotten better at all three..."

"How long have you liked him?" Hanako asked curiously.

"Since middle school. I confessed to him a month ago. Took me three long years, but...."

"W-what a mean guy..." Hatsume said, her (e/c) eyes teary as Hanako tried to comfort her. She's really sensitive when it comes to other people's sufferings.

"It's still on your mind, isn't it?" Hanako asked.

"It is not! Because I like Minamoto-senpai now. I'm gonna get myself a great guy like senpai, And make that idiot regret passing me up"

"Anybody will do for you, huh?" The ghostly duo asked her in unison, smiling. Well Hanako was the one smiling, Hatsume was beaming happily already thinking of who would she ship Yashiro with.

"No way! haha, Hanako-san, Hatsume-san, Don't be ridiculous!" Yashiro tried to reason out.

"You say that, but you don't seem to know alot about this guy." Hanako teased her, making Hatsume giggled.

"I do know!" Yashiro objected.

"W-what's his first name then?" Hatsume asked. Everyone went quiet, Turns out Yashiro doesn't even know her senpai's first name.

"Look, It's a bug. I'll feed the koi with it." Yashiro took the bug and toss it to a box, trying to avoid the two ghosts' gaze. They sighed at her hopelessness.

"Y-yashiro-san...." Hatsume then took something from her kimono sleeves and gave them to the human daikon girl. "H-here..."

"What's this? A post card?" Yashiro stared at the heart shape card and a pink pen that was given to her. 'Why do she even have these?' Yashiro Thought. Hanako seems to understand what was his beloved companion trying to refer.

"You're gonna give your senpai a gift you made!" Hanako said. "Operation name: Give him a gift~!!"

"W-what a lame n-name...." Hatsume muttered. Hanako obviously heard her and pouted.

"I already did something like that..." Yashiro sighed. Hatsume shook her head.

"I-it might turn out di-differently this ti-time... You'll never know i-if 'till you try... P-plus I'm guesssing y-you don't get to m-meet ve-very often..."

"You have the skill, so might as well use 'em, right?" Hanako spoke up. " You did your very best to get to where you are now."

"Hatsume-san......Hanako-san......." Yashiro stared at the duo, admiration was visible on her ruby red eyes. She clench her hands on the handle of the hoe and gave her answer, determination filled her. " ALRIGHT! I'LL WORK HARD!"

The ghostly duo cheered at her respond.

"It might be too early to confess to him though, I'll just thank him for returning my pencil case." Yashiro said as she wrote her message on the heart shape paper, remembering the time how she meet her senpai.

"What are you going to make for him, Yashiro?" Hanako asked. This perk Hatsume's interest as she stared on the writing daikon.

"That..." Yashiro pointed out still writing. The duo turned to where she was pointing, and froze up.

"Uhhhh....T-that's nice...." Hatsume lied, not wanting to hurt the human girl's feelings...

《The next day》

Yashiro's senpai, Minamoto Teru was walking on the hall greeting his fellow students as he was on his classroom.

As he reached his destination, He was suprised to see his classmates all crowding his desk, some was even holding their phones and taking pictures of something infront of them.

"Mornin'. What's all the commotion?" He asked as he approached the crowd. One of his classmate turned to face him and said, "See for yourself, It's weird!"

"There's vegetables!"

Minamoto Teru was dumbfounded. On his desk was two ripe tomatoes and cucumbers, other than that there where a heart shape note next to the vegetables saying...

"Dude, did you save a fox or something?" The same classmate asked him

"No I didn't..."

Outside of the classroom, The trio, Hanako, Hatsume, and Yashiro was peaking over the door to see everything unfold. Yashiro was embarrased at the scene she created...

'It turned into a weird mystery!'

Yashiro was now walking her way back to bathroom, with the two seventh mystery floating behind her.

"I-I thought it was n-nice. It sure c-caught him off guard..." Hatsume tried to say.

"That was not 'Nice'! The moment he thought it was a fox returning a favor, It wasn't 'nice'!" Yashiro whinned.

"A daikon returning a favor." Hanako whispered teased on Yashiro's ear making her imagined a daikon holding a tomato saying "Thank you."

Yashiro cried and tried to hit Hanako over and over again but failed since he's a ghost. People around them started whispering.

"That girl is being weird.."

"Is she okay?"

"Maybe the heat got her."

Hanako teased the white haired girl while Hatsume tried to comfort her, shooting glares at the boy as they reached their bathroom.

"I can't do this anymore! I'm quiting gardening!" Yashiro exclaimed.

"Well... L-let's not get ahead of ourselves. There's o-other things your good at, Y-Yashiro-san." The (h/c) haired girl assured.

"Let's try something else!" Hanako fist bumped the air which Yashiro copied but in a weak way.

"I picked myself up but...."

【Operation: Love Button】

"I took his button!" Hanako said as he show the Daikon girl a button that used to be attached to Minamoto Teru's uniform sleeves.

Hatsume gave Yashiro a sewing kit. "Now t-take this chance a-and sew it for him!" She encouraged her as Hanako gave her the button. Yashiro sprang into action.

"Minamoto-senpa-"

"Your button is gone Minamoto-kun." A girl next to him said.

"It really is. I wonder what happened..." Minamoto Teru inspected his sleeves.

His admirers then suddenly appeared infront of him and took out their buttons from their uniform.

"You can use my button!"

"No use mine!"

"I'M GOING TO BE MINAMOTO-KUN'S BUTTON!"

The trio stared at the distance. "Failed....."

【Operation: Boxed Lunch】

"U-use those vegetables th-that you grew t-to make him a boxed lunch!" Hatsume said as she held an empty bento box and a book. "It'd be k-kinda lame if y-you give him a no-normal one, so let's do a cute ch-character bento."

Yashiro nodded and began to cook.

"Is that from a girl?! Minamoto, you lucky devil!" Minamoto Teru's classmate teased as he sat on his desk and saw a pink clothed bento box.

"I wonder who's it from..." Minamoto curiously asked as he opened the box to revealed a monster-themed lunch that seems to be too discusting to be eaten.

"I think someone lost it. I'll give it to the lost and found." Minamoto left his room with the bento on hand as he walked away to the said destination.

"I overdid it!" In a corner, Yashiro wailed. The two ghost only did their best to comfort the human girl

The trio was behind a wall, watching Minamoto Teru talks to a person besides him as they approached to where the three was hiding.

"When I give the signal, you run from the corner." Hanako instructed as he closed his love guide book. Yashiro nodded as a piece of toast was hanging on her mouth.

"Go!-" Yashiro started to run. Hatsume's (e/c) widened."-Is gonna be the signa-"

Hanako was cut off when him and his beloved companion heard a crash and screams.

"Kou?! Kou!"

The ghostly duo looked horrified.

"Hey! Someone just went flying!"

"Some girl just crashed into a boy from the middle school compartment!"

"He fell down the stairs, is he okay?!"

Hatsume was tending Yashiro's forhead infront of the bathroom's mirror. "Ouch. This isn't working. That last one didn't even have anything to do with my abilities..." Hanako smiled sheepishly as he rubbed his head.

"Don't look at me like that!"

"Y-you know, Yashiro-san. W-why don't you just try co-confessing to him?" Hatsume asked as she pat Yashiro's head.

"Confess?! Impossible!" Yashiro denied.

"Well, Hatsume and I are newbies at this too, And that's the best way she could think of. " Hanako defended.

"NEWBIES?!" Yashiro shouted. The ghostly duo floated away from her, mainly Hanako pulled Hatsume close to him as possible.

"Well, We don't get called that often, not may can, really." Hanako anwered honestly as he hugged Hatsume, who was already struggling from his grip.

"I knew there where something off with all of this! For a ghost like you two, All of your objects and methods were too wholesome!"

"Well , I guess you can call us, "The wholesome power couple."

All of sudden, an angry devil daikon towered over the two trembling spirit.

"W-wait! I've got some unwholesome items too!" Hanako tossed some things from his pocket which includes a small bag with a 'seal' and a porn magazine which hit Hatsume, who was hiding behind him on the face. She screamed, when the good part of the magazine was wide open for her to see. Hanako doesn't seems to notice this.

"Alright, there we go!" Hanako then gave the item to Yashiro.

"What is that?"

"Hatsume's Kokeshi doll."

"M-my doll?!"

"It's a little bit sexy..." Hanako grinned pervertedly. Just then, Yashiro threw the doll towards the open window, making Hanako yelp.

"Ha-Hanako! M-my doll!"

As Hanako tried to comfort his beloved companion who was crying for the lost of her doll, They didn't noticed Yashiro picked the small bag that Hanako seems to threw away awhile ago. With her curiosity seems to grew when she saw two sparkling large scales inside, she decided to ask the two.

"What's this? Hanako-san, Hatsume-san." The duo look up to see her holding one of the two scales.

"It's a matchmaking-" Hanako was about to explain whe he was cut off.

"Matchmaking?!" Yashiro asked excited as she neared the scale to her mouth

"Wait, Yashiro-san! Don't!" Hatsume screamed without stuttering as her and Hanako tried to reach it from the human girl's grasp. "Give those back!" But she already put it in her mouth making them panicked.

"Echplain! Echplain orch I'll schuallow itch! (Explain! Explain or I'll swallow it!)" Yashiro threatened.

"Okay! Okay! They're mermaid scales! When two or a group of people ingest a scale from the same mermaid, a terrible curse will placed upon them, But they will be bound together with a force like no other." Hanako finally explained. But He and Hatsume was horrified when Yashiro swallowed the scale.

"Y-Yashiro-san! I thought we t-told you n-not to swallow it! Y-you'll be cursed!" Hatsume worriedly shouted.

"It doesn't matter! I'm fine with getting cursed as long as I can get to be with Minamoto-senpai!" Yashiro cried. "Hanako-san, Hitsume-san, You two lied to me!" With that she run away from the bathroom. Leaving two flabbergasted spirits behind.

"..........I-I'm going to p-prepare a f-fish tank....."

The ghostly duo was able to reached towards the human girl in time, who was now a fish, But luckily Hanako managed to catch her before she dried out using the fish tank, Hatsume found.

"I turned into a fish?!" Yashiro exclaimed as the two brought her to an empty classroom.

"I thought I told you, that it comes with a price. You've been inflicted with the curse of the mermaid. Fish are the servant of mermaids after all." Hanako said as he placed the tank, where Yashiro was on a desk. "Had you made someone else ingest the other scale, the curse's power would have split between the two of you. And you wouldn't have had completely turn into a fish."

"Y-you'll still be fish l-like, though..." Hatsume cut off.

"The mermaid scale only curses the person who ingest it. We call it a matchmaker because the two or more people with the same curse are tied together with a strong bond." Hanako finished as he then held the other scale. "You didn't get to give this to your senpai, why though?"

"I never liked senpai, far from it actually. I only realized it now, I was only trying to use him. What you guys said was true, anyone would have been fine, as long as I can get to be with them, that's what I wanted this whole time. I'm a terrible person." Yashiro said teary eyed. This made Hatsume's none existing heart, melt.

"Now, now. Such foolish creatures, these humans are. Be overjoyed, little girl. For you are now my servant. I'll make sure to treat you well.." A terrifying voiced echoed around the room. This made the two ghost tense up. Hanako raised an arm up infront of the two girls, as like trying to protect them.

"So your finally here, Mermaid..."

"A fish with a human face?!" Yashiro panicked inside the tank. Hatsume picked her up and shield her away from the falling debris of the broken desks and chairs.

"She's here to retrieved her new servant." Hanako muttered. "But I won't allow it, It's bad for business."

"Your in the way,brat!" The mermaid attacked and threw Hanako away into a set of desks.

"HANAKO-KUN/SAN!!" The girls screamed.

"Your a feeble, I am more of a thousand years old! A mere school ghost stands no chances of beating me!" 'The mermaid laughed and turned toward the daikon fish. "Your coming with me!"

"I-I won't let you!" Hatsume shouted, Blocking the mermaid's way to Yashiro.

"Don't test my patient, Brat!" The mermaid took a hold of the girl and tossed her aside, into a wall, knocking the air out of her.

The mermaid then took Yashiro's tank. Laughing at the little white fish who was panicking.

"Wait a minute. Hatsume and I are yet to grant that girl's wish. Before you take her away, mind letting us do that first?" Hanako stood up clutching his injured left arm.

"QUIET! I WOULD NOT HAVE YOU ORDER ME AROUND!"

"Is that so? Well I'll just have to resort to violence." Hanako then took out his knife from his uniform. "Plus, You've hurt my beloved Hatsume. You'll pay for that."

"INSOLENCE!"

The mermaid attacked but Hanako was quicker. In a slice of his knife, the mermaid was dissolving

"WHAT?! How could a mere fledgling of a spirit like you possibly have this much power?!" The mermaid exclaimed as she finally disappeared. "Curse you school legends!"

The tank that held Yashiro soon fell, but luckily Hanako managed to catch it.

"H-Hanako-kun!" Hanako and Yashiro turned to see Hatsume floating towards them.

"Hatsu-chan, Your okay!" Hanako's mood changed quickly from fierce into a cat like expression as he glomped his precious other half. "T-that mermaid will be coming back soon, she's too stubborn." Hatsume said.

"But luckily, I managed to buy some time, so I guess it's alright." Hanako shrugged.

"What's gonna happen to me, Hanako-san, Hatsume-san? Is the mermaid going to kidnap me? If I haven't made that wish...." Yashiro weeped.

Hanako smiled at this, making Hatsume shuddered. She know's where is this going. Plus the aura that Hanako was rediating was terrifying.

"You're not getting out of this by crying. When you get involved with the supernaturals, this is what you get. Hatsume and I did tried to stop you from using it, Didn't we? Little-Miss-Stupid~" Hanako taunted as he poke Yashiro again and again.

"H-however, Y-your senpai didn't swallow the other s-scale. Which m-means we could still g-grant your wish." Hatsume said as she handed Hanako the other scale, which he dropped earlier. "Y-Yashiro Nene-san, Do you wish to be human again? S-should you make that wish, We'll grant it. For a price of course"

"W-what's the p-price?" The little white fish asked, nerviously.

"No idea. But atleast you'll be able to live a barely normal life. What do you think?" Hanako offered.

Yashiro nodded rapidly, splashing water around in the process. "Change me back! I'll do anything! Please Hanako-san, Hatsume-san!"

The two seventh mystery smiled. Hanako the tossed the scale into the air and caught it, splitting it into two in the process and gave the other half to Hatsume.

"That's what I wanted to hear. Alright then." As the two began to swallow the half scale, Hanako added. "We'll have you pay us with your body..."

Splashes of water then soon sounded the room and a loud thud. Yashiro sat on the floor, human again as she stared the two floating ghosts that was nearing her, too close for her liking.

"T-the three of us, Our fa-fates are now tied to-together! Across the worlds o-of the living and the dead!" Hatsume beamed and smiled. Her and Hanako are now on the ground on top of Yashiro who was red as a tomato.

"We'll make it so the curse, would be split between us." Hanako said. Leaning closer, Hatsume seems to noticed and copied him. "In return, We'll be taking your-"

"Physical Labor.." Hanako finished with an innocent look, making Yashiro deadpanned at what just happened.

"Well it looks like all's well and ends well!"

"Y-yeah! Aren't we l-looking for a h-human assistant? S-she's perfect!"

"Yea- huh? Did you perhaps take that the wrong way, Yashiro?" Hanako asked making The said girl turns red in embarassement." My, my, Yashiro, your a dirty little daiko-"

Yashiro then elbowed him before he could finish, sending him into a few chairs. "Huh? I can touch you, Hanako-san?!"

"O-our fates are now b-bound together, Yashiro-san." Yashiro was now facing Hatsume who was holding her hand with both of hers. "We're i-in your care now, So p-please treat us well. We did g-granted two of your wishes."
