I knew I was going through a lot. And Jimin was going through Hell. But we had to stay strong and put on a good face. Giving up wasn't an option.

I swirled around my mint chocolate chip ice cream with a miniature spoon. I can't resort to stress eating either.

I looked up seeing Jimin staring off in a direction not touching his Vanilla ice cream. I guess he wasn't feeling eating ice cream, and neither was I.

I usually would eat ice cream to soothe my sadness, things like petty drama. These days I could care less about petty drama. I've been kidnapped, lost my house, almost raped, drunk, and contemplated commiting suicide. I needed to focus. I can't let myself go because of my situation.

Jimin can't let himself go either. I hate to say it but people die. And he can't kill himself because of that. If everyone killed themselves because someone close to them died, then we wouldn't have many people. My grandpa died, I wouldn't be here.

"Want to take that to go?" I asked with a laugh.

He shook his head then got up "Thanks." And walked out of the parlor.

"Where you going?" I asked.

"I don't know. Go to Jin's house, and do what? I'm not going to school. I don't have any motivation to go anywhere."

I nodded my head. Where could you go, or what could you do when the person you're closest to is dead?

"Maybe you should go on a vacation Jimin. Spring break is coming up. You have the money. I'd book a trip to Hawaii or something and relax."

Oops. Jimin and Elizabeth were going to Hawaii, to elope. Thankfully he didn't notice.

His face lit up for the first time since Elizabeth past. "That's an amazing idea April. I do need to get away. Just to lay down by the beach. It won't fix anything, but at least I would be away from the place Eliz-"

He face grew sad again. "Thanks" he said then walked away.

I got up leaving both bowls of ice cream still full.

I didn't have a schedule and school just ended. I would have to work at Chilli's tonight, but they called me and told me I could take the day off.

I frowned. Jungkook would be here tomorrow evening. I wish he'd stay in Europe for good.

I walked home. I had time so I didn't need to take the bus. I wondered if Yoongi ever got caught. I guess Jungkook will know what to do. No. Actually, Rapmonster will know.

I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.
It was Devon.

I was tempted to press the red hang up button. But I guess that wasn't a thing a girlfriend should be doing.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey April." He replied.

"Did you need something.?"

"Yeah. I wanted to know if you could come over."

"Umm, sure." I said.

I hung up the phone and I took the bus to his house. He texted me the directions. I was supposed to go home and pack up my things for Peru, but I guess that could wait.

I arrived at his house and he was cooking dinner.

"Smells good." I said.

He smiled "Just for you babe."

I nodded. No lie I was a bit uncomfortable. If love at first sight was real, I shouldn't be here with Devon.

I took a seat and he brought my plate filled with hot lasagna and hot garlic bread.

I gave thanks as he began to eat. "So what do you like to do? For fun that is." He asked.

I looked up from my plate "Nothing. I don't do anything for fun. I work and go to school. I don't have time." I said plainly.

He nodded. "That's boring. I like to do plenty of fun things. Sports, video games, parties, you name it."

"Yeah. I think I've been having too much fun lately. That's why I'm moving to Indiana. I can't keep up with my bills." I said.

"Indiana?! Don't go. We're do you live right now?"

I sighed "I live with my friend Jin. But I can't live with him forever. I still have to pay for the house damages."

"You can move in with me you know. You and your brother."

I looked at him surprised then I laughed. "No Devon I already have a place to stay, I just need a home. And I guess that's in Indiana."

He smiled. "I know. You can live with me. If you don't have enough money and you really want to stay here, you can move in with me."

I don't think so. I met Devon two days ago. But I nodded my head in reply.

"You want to drink?" He asked.

"Yeah water would be fine. Thanks."

"No silly. I meant wine."

I was surprised. "No, I don't want to get drunk."

He laughed "you can drink without getting drunk."

"Well no thanks. I lied to you. I'm seventeen."

He smiled "I know." He said while pouring me a glass of the dark liquid.

If there's anything I learned about Devon is that he doesn't take NO for an answer. These past two days everytime I've told him no, he's ignored it. Red flag.

"Where do you go to school Devon?" I asked sipping the bitter wine.

"I go to college at Effiret."

"Colledge?!" I asked surprised.

"Yeah." He said with a shrug.

Another red flag.

I scraped my plate and drank the last drops of the wine.

"I should go home now." I said.

I didn't have much alcohol. But it was definitely in my system.

"Go home? April we are dating, it's okay if you sleep with me."

RED FLAG. I don't just sleep around with people. I only had two exceptions. I wasn't even awake for one of them.

"That's alright Devon. Jin wants me home before dark. Tomorrow we have a day off at school and Jungkook is coming in."

I mentally face palmed. I shouldn't have mentioned Jungkook. My mistake.

Devon's face instantly grew dark. "Again with Jungkook. He lives there? You don't have to follow Jin's rules. You can come live with me. Especially since Jungkook lives there." He said.

I rolled my eyes. " Yes Jungkook lives with Jin. But I don't like him, so it doesn't matter. And I will follow Jin's rules. He is nice enough to have me stay with him so I'll respect his wishes. Devon, I just met you, and I don't know you well enough to move in with you. And I'm not interested sleeping with you either."

Devon was starting to get mad. "But you agreed to be my girlfriend. And I don't want you living with a pig pen of guys. They could take advantage of you."

I scoffed "They are the ones keeping me safe!"

"Safe from whom?!" Devon yelled.

I crossed my arms. "No one." I said walking out.

I was frustrated. But I guess he had a reason to worry. I was so on the fence with Devon. I really don't want to jump guy to guy. I hoped he would work out, but I really wasn't feeling it.

I took the bus back to my home. Everyone was on the sofa talking to Jungkook. They were doing Skype from the TV so he saw me come in.

I tried to sneak past the frame but Jungkook had spotted me.

"Hey April, how-"

" I don't want to talk Jungkook." I said walking upstairs. I didn't wait to hear his reaction but I heard all the guys on the sofa go "oooooooh."

I warmed up my coffee and sat on my bed turning on the TV. He would be here tomorrow, I didn't have to talk to him today.
