After the ceremony, the girls were shown around Ramshackle which was actually fixed up.

They all decided to situate themselves and figure out who would be their dorm leader.

"Alright, maybe we can decide on straws." Justine said holding out straws in her hand.

"Good idea. The longest straw determines the dorm leader. Shortest for vice leader." Ignacia suggested.

Ignacia got the tall straw while Justine got the shortest.

"Alright, let's hope we have a successful year!" Rosa cheered then the girls all heard a ruckus inside one of the rooms.

It was a black....raccoon cat?

"Whats with the raccoon cat?" Luna asked.

"I ain't no raccoon! I'm Grim, destined to be the greatest wizard of the world! Thats why I'm here!" Grim shouted.

"Why do you want to be in this school so bad?" Serenity asked.

"Why you ask? Because I'm destined to be a great wizard! I've hoped that the Ebony Carriage would find me...ah, but the Dark Mirror doesn't know talent when it sees it." Grim said.

"So you came here on your own?" Laraline asked, crossing her arms.

"Well, we can't condone that, but maybe we can pull some strings for you to stay with us, providing one of us watches you. The Headmaster may agree to that." Delphine suggested.

"Well, that aside, let's get dinner ready, and such." Ignacia said taking Grim into her arms. "You ever had steak before Grim?"

"No." The cat said.

"You're in for a treat. Ignacia knows how to grill em." Luna smiled as the girls headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
