Today I have been in the band room recruiting members for my band. So far no one is really interested. I have been on the edge of my seat the whole day, just thinking about how good and many band players that are going to come, but I guess I was wrong. Knock, Knock. I looked up at the door and said, "Come in."

A girl with very short black hair and with the ends dyed with a turquoise color came in. She wore a black jacket with ripped jeans and carried a long black case. "Um, is this the new club that are for band members?" she said.

"Yes, yes it is." I said, "Why do you ask?"

"I was wondering if I can join your club." She said.

My heart just stop for a couple of seconds. Someone that actually wants to join my club!!! I thought. I manage to keep a straight face and said, "Okay let's see what you can do."

"Oh, um okay." She said.

"By the way, what's your name?" I asked before she started.

"Katherine Johnson, but everyone calls me Kat." She said as was opening her case.

"What do you play?" I asked.

"The keyboard." She said. Taking out of her case, a Yamaha keyboard production came out. It took only a couple of minutes for her to set up. "What song do you want me to play?"

"Um...play the song Soul Sister By Train." I said.

"Okay." She said.

She was amazing!! When she stopped she asked, "So, how did I do?"

"That was AMAZING!!" I said, clapping. "It was like you were on fire! You are definitely in girl!"

She smiled. And that's how my day ended.
