Chapter Three (Mutants)
I don't own the picture
Lucy observed her sisters grabbing supplies and going on their merry way back to that bunker that Lisa designed. To be honest, she expected that bunker to be like the house..damaged with almost no hope of repair during these troubling times. Times caused by them. Oh how she hated them for this. They changed and destroyed everything that caused her joy in her ordinary life.
They even took away...her parents. Lucy swiped a tear from her eye and quickly started to journey back to her temporary home with the others. Well, home would be a stretch. She lost everything due to the rest of her "family's" actions.
Her parents.
Her journal.
Her home.
Her humanity.
On second thought, the last one wasn't that bad since she always loved the supernatural with her best friend, Haiku. Speaking of which, she needed to see if she was still alive since she knew that most of the people living here and around the world have lost their lives due to this new world.
"I hope that you're still here Haiku." Lucy said before spotting a vampire walking down the street. She only say her back, but she could instantly tell that this was the person that she was looking for.
"Haiku!" Lucy said as the vampire turned around. She had long black hair and red eyes with a black and red dress. She looked stunned for a moment until she recongized this other vampire.
"Lucy." Haiku said.
"It's nice to see you alive." Lucy said.
"Unfortunately. My parents weren't so lucky." Haiku said.
"Sigh...You can thank my sisters for that." Lucy said.
"Let's change the subject. Do you know anyone else who managed to survive this new reality?" Haiku asked.
"Yes. Leni, Lily, Lincoln, Ronnie Anne and Carlota survived...for the others, we may have to wait and see." Lucy admitted which almost relieved Haiku. However, she couldn't help herself from thinking about the others who have yet to be found except for some people named Hank, Hawk and Chandler. She heard nasty things about the three and wouldn't want to encounter them.
"That's good...mostly. So are we going to your hideout?" Haiku asked. Lucy nodded and the two vampires went back to their tempory home knowing that they would soon see more transformed people soon. If only they knew that they would be meeting the rest of the rest of the Loud sisters multiple times on their attempts at being normal.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
