One friend lost, two to go- Hour one
Hour 1
"D-did you guys hear that?" I stuttered. This definitely was not a good idea. The worst part is, we can't even escape or else the spirit will follow us. "Yeah, we're f-" Denny broke off. He went pail and was staring at something. "What is it?" Seamus whispered. Denny said nothing, but continued staring. He pointed at an old chandelier, which was swinging gently. The temperature dropped so cold I could feel the hairs on my arms stand up. I let out a high pitched scream and made to charge out the door, but I was stopped at the sight of a figure in front of the door way. It was gray and fuzzy, like static. It took the shape of a man, and simply stood there. I stared at it in shock. The others screamed and ran, but I simply stared.
It took a step towards me, reaching out as if to grab me. I was shaking, my mind told me to run but my body stood still. Pictures in the hallway began to swing on their nails. It took another step towards me, its fingers nearly touching my shoulder. I finally came to my senses and ran, I ran faster than I ever have, and that's saying something. I ran up a flight of stairs and through a door. I held the door shut although there was no one on the other side- yet. I stood there, panting with tears splashing down my face. I shouldn't have done this. This was a terrible idea, and now im going to die. I have no idea where the others are, or if they are okay. After a few minutes I let go of the door and grabbed my flashlight. I took a look around the room, It looked like a bedroom, with one queen sized bed in the corner. The walls were a pale gray-pink and the smell of rotting was strong. I saw a small bundle on the floor that was wrapped in a light blue -and red stained- blanket. There was no way i was going to look at what was wrapped up. I looked at the door that i came through. I should probably move and get going before the spirit finds me in here, but I was too scared to open it. After a moment or two I finally plucked up the courage and opened the door.
With my flashlight still in hand, I walked back down the stairs and into a different room. This one was huge and spacey, it reminded me of one of those ball rooms in Disney princess films, but more decayed and dusty. Whoever owned this place must have been really rich. It suddenly got extremely cold. A scream took me out of my thoughts. It was loud and i could tell it was someone in the same room as me. I froze, I didn't know what to do. Do I run and stay safe, or do I try to help whoever was screaming? The screams continued nonstop. I had to help whoever was there.
I followed the screams to an wooden piano. Whoever-whatever-was screaming was right behind it. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I opened them and ran around the piano. I saw Denny sitting there with a staticy figure leaning in on him. Tears fell from his eyes as he screamed in horror. He looked up at me and went still. The spirit looked at me too, then disappeared. I went to Dennys side, his eyes staring blankly at the spot I was before. I grabbed his hand and sat in front of him. He was cold as ice and did not move when I shook him. Nor when I gave him a little pinch. I tried to find a pulse, but I couldnt find one. He was gone, dead. I began to cry, the tears warm on my cold face. I couldnt believe he was dead. He was the life and soul of the group. We've known each other since we were little, we were practically brother and sister we were that close. I let go of his hand and got up. I will come back for you when this is all over... I walked out of that room, but not without blowing him a kiss. His phone began to sound off, signaling the end to the first hour.
