V : That was how you couldn't return her diary?

ME : (-nodding-) Yes.

V : Well, Romeo and Juliet part ways in the end too.

ME : Yah! Taehyung-ah~ (-losing it-)

V : Oops! I won't do that again, master. (-in formal words-)

I chuckled at him sounding like a being from Joseon dynasty.

No seconds later, both of our stomachs growled making us giggle.

V : I will go. (-gets up from his seat-)

I walked to the other compartment to keep the diary in my bag while he went to get us our lunch from the cafeteria on the ground floor.

Moments later, I was looking outside the window wondering if Joonie and Hobi were doing well with Jimin.

JHOPE's POV

We had our lunch outside at a restaurant over and above to get some fresh air as well.

Parting ways, Joonie took Jimin for cycling to cheer him up while I went to Sanie(Susan).

In the hospital, I walked to her room with a smile and sat beside her bed.

ME : Were you doing well?

SUSAN : (-nodding-) Imm and missed you too~

ME : (-smiles-) I missed you more. (-pecks gently on her forehead-)

SUSAN : What about Oppa? How are you?

ME : Onh, I am good. (-fakes a smile with a hint of sadness-)

SUSAN : (-holding my hands-) Oppa~ Is Jungkookie alright?

ME : (-smile vanishes with tears forming in eyes-) I don't know. We should've taken better care of him. He is still so young and if he-... (-stops talking further-)

SUSAN : (-cupping my face-) Oppa~ don't think like that. He will be fine. Remember you are their hope. You cannot be hopeless at this critical time.

I sniffed and nodded to her humming a yes trying to stay optimistic.

ME : I am sorry~ (-wiping my tears-)

SUSAN : Please, don't be sorry. You can cry all you want in front of me. I will listen to it and then dab your head gently to comfort you. Like this. (-gently dabs on my hair-)

I smiled through tears and taking her hand from my head, I kissed it earning a sweet smile from her.

ME : I am sorry for not being by your side when you need me.

SUSAN : He needs you more right now and it's okay. Your visiting me is more than enough to me. (-smiles-)

ME : Thanks. I love you~

SUSAN : If you love me then, a kiss. (-pouts-)

I giggled and leaned in to kiss her cute pout.

Then started my shower of pecks showing my affection to her until someone came in making me jump from my seat and stand awkwardly.

An aged nurse came to us with Sanie's food and setting the bed table in front of her, she placed her food without any words.

I bowed while she was leaving and smiled back to Sanie as the former left.

Sanie spoke as I took my seat again.

SUSAN : Oppa, have you had your lunch?

ME : Onh, I had it earlier with boys before coming.

SUSAN : (-smiles wide-) Good boy. (-takes a spoon-)

ME : I am sorry you have to eat this sucking hospital food.

SUSAN : What's with your sorrys today? (-chuckles-) It's okay. I am used to it now.

ME : (-smiles-) Give me, I will feed you today.

I scooped some soup on the spoon and fed her after I gave a flew gentle blows to the hot liquid. That simply gave me a very sweet feeling to see her enjoy the soup like it was the best she has ever had.

ME : (-blowing on the next spoon of soup-) Be careful, it's hot.

SUSAN : (-having it-) It's fine. I am hotter.

ME : (-chuckles-) And I am the hotest.

She burst in laughter while I grinned blowing on the soup.

2 weeks later, at Jungkook's

*Over the call*

ME : Sanie, what's wrong? You don't sound okay.

SUSAN : I am fine, Oppa. They just started on a different medicine today which made me a little weak. Don't worry. (-coughs lightly-)

ME : Are you sure?

SUSAN : Yes, and even if I get worse, it will be alright. I am in the hospital afterall.

ME : (-unwillingly-) Okay...

SUSAN : By the way, where are you now?

ME : At Kookie's. He had a heart stroke a while ago.

SUSAN : (-sounding worried-) Oh god! Is he fine now?

ME : Yeah, he is. They said that it happened because of lack of blood supply. He is now on blood transfusion and is stable as well.

SUSAN : (-relieved sigh-) That's a relief. Did everyone take it well?

ME : How would they? Jimin was crying seas and Tae too ended up in sobs seeing Jimin. We were trying to calm them down. His parents are by his side now so we came out to give them some privacy.

SUSAN : It must be so hard for them.

ME : We could never imagine. (-realizes suddenly-) Oh, and when are your parents coming to Korea again? I will go to receive them from the airport.

SUSAN : Onh, Oppa. There's no need for that. I asked them not to come since I am all good and you are there beside me.

ME : But, I am here Sanie. I feel sorry towards them that I cannot take care of you well.

SUSAN : It's really okay. And moreover I am perfectly fine, I don't even feel pain.

ME : Sanie~

SUSAN : Don't be sorry, I am really okay here. If I needed someone, I wouldn't have had them stay back.

ME : Okay then I'll visit you now.

SUSAN : No Oppa, you are needed there right now. I am really okay. Also, Sa Na is currently here with me. So, don't worry.

ME : (-sighs in defeat-) Alright, I will drop by at night then.

SUSAN : (-gives in-) Okay, fine.

ME : Don't wait for me and go to sleep if you feel so. I will just come, kiss you and leave quietly.

SUSAN : (-huming in denial-) I will wait for you no matter how late you are.

ME : But, Sanie!

SUSAN : No buts! I am hanging up! Take care. Love you~

ME : (-smiles-) Love you more!

She ended the call hearing my words and I felt at ease after talking to her.

Promptly, Kookie's Dad came out of the room and we gathered around.

MR. JEON : I think it would be better if Kookie's mom and I stay with him tonight. His mom will be at ease here more than at home. You all must be tired, you should go to your dorm and rest now.

JIMIN : I respect your wishes. But, we don't want to leave him either.

MR. JEON : I know you all care and worry about him alot. But, even the hospital won't allow us all to stay.

RM : (-speaks before Jimin debated futher-) We understand and will do as you ask us to. But, please don't feel burdened to call us if you need at any hour. Even if it's 3 in the morning, we'll be here.

MR. JEON : (-nodding gratefully-) Thank you kids, thank you for saying that.

JIN : Please don't mention. He is our family and that's the least we can do.

MR. JEON : (-slight smile-) Okay, I will be sure to call you if we need. You all go home and rest for now.

We all bowed as he went back in and slid the door shut behind him.

ME : Jin hyung, you take them back. I and Joonie will stay since we were here previously. We'll come by night if everything here is stable.

RM : Hobi is right, hyung. Jimin and V are all swollen with all the sobbing. They should rest now.

JIMIN & V : (-in sync-) I don't want to go.

ME : Jimin-ah, Taehyung-ah, it's okay. He will be fine. We are here, and will call you immediately if something's up.

They finally agreed after I said we would inform them and took the lead with Jin hyung following them after.

JIN : (-to us-) Take care.

RM : You too, hyung.

With that, three of them went ahead while I and Joonie sat outside his room.

As previously planned, I was on my way to Sanie's Hospital after being assured that everything at Kookie's was fine.

While I was still on the roads, I got a call from Sanie's hospital. I did receive it right away but my phone's battery died before I could hear anything from the other line.

I couldn't charge my phone today as I was wrapped up with Kookie's concern and forgot about my phone. However, as I was going to the hospital anyways, I didn't bother much about it.

Reaching there, I had a smile on my lips smelling the bouquet of flowers that I bought on the way.

But, it soon vanished as I got to her room only to find a few doctors and nurses surrounding her with gloomy faces.

DOCTOR : Patient name : Lim Su San. Time of death : 20 : 03, Dat-

The bouquet in my hand made its way to the ground followed by my scream.

ME : NO! (-runs to her-) No, this can't be happening. SANIE!

"When this night passes, I am afraid I won't be able to see you~"

A/N : The beginning of the chapter might be a little confusing and you might be thinking I skipped a chapter.
But, the truth is, I felt the storyline slowing down around here so, I just reshuffled the plots and boom there you go a plot twist!
