~~3 Days~~

~~In Sobeys~~

I push the cart down the aisle, looking at all the Christmas treats. Everything from chocolate oranges, to bacon flavoured candy canes... But then I come across these ginger bread houses.

That would be so fun to do with Michael! I grab one and put it in the cart.

~~at home~~

"Michael, I got something for us..." I smile, hiding the box behind my back.

He smiles, "what?" I show him. His face lights up, "a ginger bread house." He laughs.

"Yea, I thought we could make one... Hey! What if we could video it, put it on my blog? I haven't made a video in a while...." I give him my puppy dog eyes, "pwease..."

He sighs, "oh fine... Get the camera." He grabs the box out of my hands, and walks over to the dining room table. I run upstairs and grab the video camera, along with the tripod.

"Hi guys! So, today I thought I would kick off my little spree of holiday videos  that my boyfriend and I... Michael" I look at him, smiling.

He waves at the camera, "hi, I'm Michael." We both laugh.

"We thought we would film ourselves attempting to build this..." I reach over and pull out the gingerbread house, "gingerbread house..... Yea...." I chuckle.

"We also have some candy here to decorate it with." Michael holds up a ziplock bag with candy inside. "If we can build it first..." He looks at me, laughing.

I look at the box, "I'm pretty good at building things..."

"It's totally gonna look like this" Michael shows the box to the camera.

"It's gonna look better than that" I say.

We take it out of the box, and unwrap it. "This is like one of those unboxing videos" Michael says, I look at him and laugh.

I take out the icing, "oooh, this is the icing..."

"Do we need to build it on a plate?" Michael asks.

"We build it on this, babe."

"Oh."

I look in the box and pull out more candy. "Where are the instructions?" I laugh. I find it, start reading, "okay this is taking way to long, let's just do it." I throw it across the table. "I think I have what it takes... Actually, when it comes to putting things together, I don't know."

Michael opens the icing, while I figure out the pieces. "Okay... I think I got it." He puts a line of icing on the cardboard and I set one of the walls up. I press on it for a second, then lift my hand, it falls. "Why won't it stay up?" I hold it while Michael puts more icing on the other side. I hold both walls up... "How are we gonna do this?" He laughs at me.

"Okay guys, we finally got it! Now the fun part, decorating!" I clap. Michael smiles.

"Here how about you do that side, I'll do this side... And they will decide which is best..." I say.

Michael smirks... "Mine is gonna be best... Y'all already know it."

"Sure, Michael... Haha."

We take our time to decorate each of our sides. I used lots of Christmas colours... I think it came out nicely.

"Okay guys! We're finished!!!" I show the camera each of our sides. "Who's the winner? Tell us down there, and please share this to all of your friends! More videos of us soon! Love y'all!" I blow a kiss.

"See ya" Michael waves. I jump up and shut the camera off.

"Mine is better" I say to him.

"No it's not" he fights back.

"Yup."

"Nope."

"No."

"Yes."

"Ha! You said it! Mines better..." I laugh.

He rolls his eyes, "okay fine... Yours is better."

"Thank you!" I smile and kiss him on the cheek. I look over at the camera. "Oh shoot! The cameras still rolling... Haha!"
