🔮🔮🔮

S.E. // The 7th Supreme

I was back in Nymeria's body again, this time stood behind Atticus as his fingers were wrapped around the neck of a Savior. He gazed intensely at the Savior who struggled to break free, the blue and purple veins under his eyes pulsing wildly as the electricity within him regenerated. In a split second, his eyes turned dark and bolts of electricity flowed under the skin of his hands and into the Saviors body. The man's eyes rolled to the back of his head as he was electrocuted, body jolting vigorously until Atticus let him go when he was sure the Savior was dead.

"Sage, I know it's you," Atticus said with a chuckle, making me emit a questioning whine, turning my head back with my ears lowered and eyes wide. "Don't give me that look!"

I barked in response, trying to grin even though I wasn't sure if I could grin as a dog. Our heads snapped to the right when we heard loud arguing, noticing that the whole mansion was filled with dead bodies and the only live ones left was Colton and two other Saviors. They were standing near the top of the staircase, Colton had his arm wrapped around the neck of a man, who looked familiar but I couldn't recognize from being so far away. Atticus and I jogged over to the commotion, now noticing that Colton had Jason in an arm lock with a cursed knife held over his heart.

My doggy heart was filled up with worry and fear as I jogged up the stairs and stood near Harry whom leaded our group, with Atticus, Rowena, Maximus and Esmeralda stood by. Harry was yelling furiously at Colton who had this crazed look in his eyes, face wounded in places such as his lower lip and nose as well as eyebrow. Jason had a terrified look in his green eyes, trying to struggle and break away from Colton but very unsuccessful in that because if he moved any further, the knife would cut him. I recognized the knife; even though I couldn't remember the name of it I knew what it did. If injured with that knife, nothing can heal the wound: with or without magic. If killed with the knife, there was no chance of resurrecting the person.

"You should've stayed dead, Harry," Colton said in a grim tone, tightening his hold on Jason. "It was punishment according to the rules."

"You can shove those fucking rules up your ass, you bag of dicks!" Atticus screeched loudly and quite aggressively, me barking viciously in agreement.

But Colton ignored Atticus' words with a roll of his eyes, locking gazes with Harry again. A malicious smirk drawled onto his lips, one that gave me an ominous feeling as I prepared to switch back to my own body and teleport here myself just in case things got really bad.

"Since you can't take your punishment, Harry. I'm sure, Jason wouldn't mind taking your place," Colton said with an evil chuckle, pressing the tip of the knife to Jason's chest, right above his heart.

"Colton, don't you fucking dare," Harry growled in a low voice, his pale green eyes narrowed into slits as he tried to approach Colton, but Colton took a step backwards, pressing the knife firmer against Jason.

I wondered for a second why no one was using their powers to stop Colton, then noticing that there was an object on one of the steps in front of us. It was another dark object I recognized but didn't know the name of. Once placed on the floor, it activates a magical shield, powered by dark magic, where it stops any sort of magic from passing through. So since Colton had most probably placed it in front of himself and his Saviors, it blocked magic from passing through the shield from our side, protecting Colton and his gang. Since he probably placed it there, he could be the only person to remove it. Hence, why we could not use any of our telekinesis powers to knock the knife out of his hand, nor kill him.

"He's your friend isn't he?" Colton mocked with a smirk. "He'd do anything for you!"

"Harry," Jason croaked worriedly, his green eyes darting around frantically before Colton began pushing the blade into him, causing Jason to yell out in agony.

"Jason! No!" Harry cried out loud in horror when Colton plunged the knife into Jason's chest.

We all watched in horror as Colton buried the knife into Jason's chest until the golden and black hilt of it stuck out. The life in Jason's eyes had already drained out by the time Colton let go of his body. Jason's dead, limp body tumbled and rolled down the stairs, knocking the dark object that created the force field, breaking it and rolling by our feet. Harry dropped to his knees with a heart-breaking sob leaving his lips, shaking his head and mumbling hysterically as he wrapped his arms around Jason's body and pulled him onto his lap. The sight of Harry crying over his dead bestfriend immediately broke my heart, but also caused the blood in my veins to boil with anger.

I looked up; growling angrily at Colton who had pulled his other knife out, ready to fight with his Saviors by his side. But I quickly pulled myself out of Nymeria's body, transferring back to my own one in the basement. As soon as my eyes flew open, I shut them again tightly and took ahold of the ring that I used to channel earlier, clenching it in my hand and using the power to teleport myself there. In an instant, the world around me twisted as I teleported, appearing a step before Nymeria and the rest of the group. An expression of rage and fury was etched upon my face as I held my hand out, using my telekinesis power to remove Grams' necklace that was on Nymeria, while holding eye contact with a surprised Colton.

As soon as the necklace flew into my hand, I clenched my fists and channeled both the objects, using the power and energy from it to strengthen myself. I stuck one fist out towards one of the Saviors, causing his chest to jut forwards as if I was pulling on him. A sickly noise was emitted as I twisted my wrist sharply and tugged it backwards, causing the Saviors to let out a choked gasp as his heart was suddenly ripped out of his chest.

My other hand jutted outwards, using my powers of liquification to turn the insides of the other Savior to liquid. He coughed up crimson blood, majority of it leaking from various places of his face such as his eyes, nose and ears. Eventually, he choked on his own blood, dropping to his knees as his hands cupped his throat, gurgling and choking on his blood before dropping to the floor and passing away.

With narrowed, dark gray eyes, I approached Colton, whom began to back away with slight fear. He reached into his pocket to get out something but I quickly pulled my hand up and used my telekinesis power to snap his wrist, causing him to let out a sudden yell of pain. He clutched his wrist as he moved further up, reaching the top of the stairs where I brought him to his knees with one hand and one swift motion, my face completely expressionless as I approached him. Holding him down with my powers, I quickly brought my hands to the sides of his head and closed my eyes, absorbing all the information he had on The Saviors and their organization while he screeched in pain and tried to struggle against me.

When I let him go, I channeled both the ring and the necklace at the same time, wrapping the necklace around my knuckles and using my power of super strength. With one hand gripping his shoulder tightly, I plunged the other one into his chest quickly and grabbed ahold of his heart. He let out a cry of agony, blue eyes blown wide and gazing at me with mercy while I looked down on him with an expressionless look on my face, gray eyes a shade darker.

"Feel that?" I muttered breathlessly, tightening my fingers around his heart. "I have your life in my hand, literally. Just like you did with Harry's. Now you'll get to know the feeling of having your heart ripped out."

A second after my words, I tightened my fingers around his bloody heart, tearing it out of his chest. Blood spurted from the hole in his chest, as my hand emerged out of it, bloody and gory with his heart in hand. I released my invisible grip on him, causing him to fall to the ground with a thud, blue eyes wide open with blood pooling out the gaping hold in his chest and onto the white wood.

A heavy sigh escaped my lips as I gazed at the heart in my hand, then letting it drop onto Colton's body with a sickening 'plop' noise. Turning around, I found everyone staring at me with awe and slight surprise, not expecting me to have done much due to my lack of power. I felt my head spin a bit as the power was quickly drained from me, and the ache in my abdomen returned. My eyes searched for a pair of green ones, finding them teary ones and immediately jogging down the stairs to drop next to Harry and Jason's dead body that he was still cradling.

Kneeling down next to the other side of Jason's body, opposite to Harry, I tucked Frida's ring that was in that hand, into my back pocket. I then reached out to cup Harry's cheek with my clean hand, feeling the tears on it wet the palm of my hand. I gave him a look of sympathy, watching him close his eyes, a single tear rolling down his cheek.

"I'm so sorry, baby," I whispered to him pitifully, making him let out a tiny sob, sniffling a bit.

"You can't bring him back, can you?" he questioned quietly with tears in his eyes, the sight making my heart break as I shook my head. It was impossible to bring Jason back after being stabbed with that dark object.

"Why him?" Harry wailed desolately, before letting out another loud cry into the deadly silence of the mansion.

"Jason!"

~-~

A heavy, tired sigh escaped my lips as I waved my arms, using my telekinesis powers to move another dead body out of the house. It was somewhere around 2 in the morning and we were half way through getting all the dead bodies out of the house and into the backyard. There were one or two of our witches whose lives were unfortunately taken away during the battle. We haven't decided what to do with all the Saviors who have died, but we for sure had to do whatever it was we were going to do before the city wakes up.

Harry and Maximus had gone with Zeus, in Jason's car, to bury him off somewhere. Harry didn't say much to me after I told him I couldn't bring him back, only taking Jason's body and asking Maximus to come with him. When I offered to come along, Harry told me not to in a slightly bitter tone that made my stomach twist. Now I was stood outside of the mansion, in the front yard with Atticus and Nymeria, looking around to see if there were any more bodies. I turned around to say something to Atticus, frowning when I noticed him on his knees with his hands against Nymeria's stomach.

"Atticus, will you please stop feeling up Nymeria!" I called out, making him ignore me and continue to feel around more before he let out a gasp with his jaw dropping open.

"Sage! Nymeria's pregnant!"

"What?" I gaped, wanting to ask how the fuck he knew that just by touching her. "How do you kno- you know what? Never mind."

"Yeah I feel it in her tits! Look! Her nipples look bigger-"

"It's okay Atticus, really, I get it!" I said with a shake of my head, heading over to the two and crouching down to ruffle Nymeria's fur.

"She's gonna have baby Siberian husky/wolf/German Shepard/Doberman puppies!" Atticus exclaimed with a grin, hugging her tight while she panted happily. "Assuming that the father is Zeus of course."

"I'm pretty sure it is, Zeus," I said with a happy sigh.

"Sage?" Atticus said, making my raise my head up to gaze at him with a frown due to his serious tone. "Is that house on fire?"

My eyes widened at his words, my upper body turning sharply to gaze behind me. My lips parted when I noticed the ends of the orange flames from the distance, as well as the large cloud of smoke that rose to the air. It was a little far away, but I could still see bits of the flames and a lot of the smoke. Letting go of Nymeria, I began moving towards it, Atticus and Nymeria following me until we were stood in front of it. My jaw dropped when I realized whose mansion this was. It was the one Harry and the Saviors were living in.

Raising my hands up, I tried to use my power to bend elements, trying to use water to put the fire out. But my hands were quickly pushed down by a bigger pair; making me turn my head to find Harry standing behind me, his pale eyes gazing at the house with a deep frown on his face. Him and Maximus had just pulled up by the curb in Jason's car. My mind began to wonder who would've done this, just as Harry spoke up quietly.

"My paintings. They're gone," he mumbled in a sad voice, his lower lip jutting out as I bit my lip, feeling my heart ache at his expression. I slipped my hand into his, lacing my fingers and squeezing his hand.

Maximus parted his lips to speak angrily, but his expression morphed into one of confusion and worry as he gazed behind me with his eyebrows lowered. I turned around, also frowning when I spotted Rowena running towards us, cheeks glistening with tears. My eyebrows shot up when she grabbed my shoulders and began speaking frantically, making my heart fill up with worry and slight fear as I told her to slow down because she was rambling and making no sense.

"It's Esmeralda, the coven, everybody! They did this!" she exclaimed breathlessly, pointing to the burning house. "They want Harry and Maximus to leave."

"What?" I whispered all of a sudden, feeling my heart drop in my stomach.

"It's a warning, Sage. The whole coven wants them to leave, or else they will kill them," she said in a shaky tone. "You have convince Esmeralda to let them stay, Sage."

"I-" I began to say, but then I spotted people walking towards us from behind Rowena.

It was Esmeralda, Frida and Aunt Sephy. My heart was lodged up into my throat as I watched them near us, my brain a complete mess as I tried to formulate an argument that would contradict whatever they would say. I felt Harry's hand grip mine, eyes making contact with mine as he squeezed my hand in reassurance. His way of saying everything was going to be alright. But I had a feeling it wasn't.

"I'm assuming Rowena notified you of the decision we chose to make as a coven," Esmeralda spoke in a calm manner, his cold eyes gazing straight into mine as I felt myself shake in anger.

"You want to send them away? After everything they've done for us!" I said in a loud voice, trying to keep a lid on my temper.

"Yes, they proved themselves that they were loyal during the battle, but that does not make up for all the murders of the innocent witches they have all slaughtered!" Esmeralda shot back. "Sage, you can't seriously expect us to accept Harry and Maximus and allow them to roam free in the streets of New Orleans when they have infamous reputations for killing our kind."

"Mother, you can't do this to her, nor Rowena," Atticus pleaded with wide eyes, making his mother snap at him harshly to stay out of it. But Atticus wouldn't listen. "You're forgetting that Sage is pregnant."

"He's right," Harry stepped forwards and spoke. "The baby needs me, and I am not leaving Sage and it here unprotected."

"They will be protected you have my word," Esmeralda spoke quickly. "But what I don't think you understand is that if you stay here, you're endangering Sage's life and your baby's."

"That's absolute bullocks!" Maximus exclaimed, making Frida chuckle.

"Y'all don't get it do you? You both betrayed your cult and killed your leader. Whomever the fuck the head of the Savior organization is, will be coming for your asses, and once he finds out you've had a baby with a Supreme. He won't hesitate to kill it," Frida pointed out, making all the color from Harry's face drain out because she had a point.

"Frida is right. Sage, Rowena, the baby, their lives will be endangered if you two stay here. Even some of our witches are bitter about the idea of you staying here, I mean, this is what some of them did after all," Esmeralda said, gesturing towards the burning house. "Most of them were already angered by Sage's actions, keeping Harry here will only upset them further and will cause them to do things they will regret."

"She's right," Harry uttered quietly all of a sudden. My eyes widened as I turned to face him. "I have to leave, my enemies will come for me, and for you and our baby. I can't afford to let that happen, Sage."

"No," I shook my head, my mouth agape with tears gathering up in my eyes. "You can't just leave."

"He has to," Esmeralda said grimly. "You should be grateful we're letting him go free instead of taking his life for all the crimes he has committed."

"But I need him," I cried with a shake of my head, the tears finally slipping out of my eyes. "The baby will need him. You can't send its father away like that! You can't be that cruel!"

"The baby doesn't need its father, Sage," Aunt Sephy spoke quietly, a guilty expression flashing across her face when I shot her a glare. "The coven will keep you and the baby safe, and you have all of us to help you raise it."

"But I need Harry," I snapped harshly, still looking like a sobbing mess. My heart shattered in my chest when I heard Harry begin to speak again, finally accepting his fate.

"You don't need me, Sage," Harry muttered under his breath, making me turn around to look at him. "You'll be just fine without me."

"Don't say that," I shook my head. "You are not leaving!"

"I have to or else they'll kill me!" Harry shot back loudly.

"And you have to do so now," Esmeralda said in a somber tone behind me, making me turn around to scream at her to shut up before I was quickly pulled back by Harry. "I'll give you two a few minutes to say your goodbyes," she added, looking to Rowena who was quietly sobbing this whole time.

Harry dragged me a little further away from the group, pulling around the back of the car so we had a little privacy. He looked down at me with a sad look in his eye, while I gazed back at him, feeling my heart break every second as my eyes were filled with tears.

"I'd feel safer with you here with me," I told him in a shaky voice, making him close his eyes with a tight, painful expression.

"No, baby. Once I'm gone, my enemies will follow me and be away from you. You'll be safer here with Atticus and your aunts, they'll help you raise the...baby," Harry uttered with difficulty, finding himself becoming overcome with emotion as his eyes began to glisten.

"I-I can't do this without you Harry," I repeated my words from before because my mind was too much of a mess to conjure up anything else. "Your place is here, with me and our baby," I cried, crying harder every time I remembered that our baby won't get to know its father. "We can't be a family without you."

"Sage, please don't make this hard," he said with a sniffle, shaking his head and looking away to blink back the tears.

"It already is hard!" I exclaimed.

"Look at me," he said firmly, cupping my cheeks and tugging my face to meet his teary gaze. "You can do this baby. Just forget about me and live your life. If you just forget about me it'll be easier-"

"Don't you dare tell me to forget about you," I snapped, blinking the tears away furiously. "Harry, I love you and I can't just forget about you after all we've been through."

"I know," he said with a shake of his head. "It's just easier that way, you can focus on yourself and the baby better."

"Why are you saying all this? You're making it sound like you want to leave," I couldn't help but cry, making him shake his head firmly at my words, appalled that I would think such a thing.

"You have no idea how much I want to stay, Sage. I want to stay and help you get through this pregnancy. I want to stay and help raise our baby to be the best in this fucking world. I want to stay and live with you, and be with you for the rest of my life because I love you more than anything."

"Harry," I cried with a tiny sob, finding this all his confessions overwhelming. I threw my arms around him, breaking down and crying because I didn't want him to leave. "Please don't leave me, baby."

"Sage," he sniffled a bit, hugging me firmly, but pulling back when it was time to leave. "I have to go baby."

"No," I shook my head, clinging to him, refusing to let go. He allowed me to cling to him with my arms around his torso, his hands cupping my cheeks firmly as he looked at me and uttered his final words.

"You have to be strong, my love. For yourself and our baby," he said but I just cried, unable to utter a word because it was all too heartbreaking. "Tell our baby, I love it and that I'm sorry I had to leave. It's so lucky to have such a beautiful and strong mother like you," he told me with a slight smile, stroking my cheek as a tiny sob escaped my lips.

Tightening my arms around his torso, I buried my face into his chest and cried, refusing to let him go. I had already lost him once, now I was going to lose him again. At this point I wondered what on earth did I do to deserve this? I knew he couldn't come back because he was practically being exiled. Him and Maximus. My mind began thinking about what would happen when my baby would wonder why almost every other kid had a dad but it didn't, and then it'd ask me where it's dad was. The thought made the tears flow unchecked down my mottled cheeks.

"I love you, Harry," I cried with an aching heart. He ducked down to press a firm kiss to my lips, hands caressing my cheeks as I pressed my body firmly against his and kissed him hard. "I love you so much," I mumbled into the kiss before he pulled back.

"I love you, Sage. Always and forever."

His arms left me, causing me to panic and cling to him, but I was gently pulled away by Atticus whom wore a pitiful expression in his face. I barely noticed Rowena whom was also a sobbing mess, hugging Maximus as he hugged her back with a hard expression and tears in his eyes. I heard him murmur a few words over her shoulder, making her let out a tiny sob and hug him tighter.

"I guess always isn't forever after all."

By my side, Nymeria and Zeus were interacting, but not as playfully as they usually would because they were both wondering why their owners were crying. Harry stepped forwards and scooped Zeus in his arms, making Nymeria let out a surprised whine, barking at Zeus, causing him to bark back as Harry carried him away and put him inside the car.

When Harry returned it was time to leave. His teary eyes met mine once again, causing my eyes to flutter shut with more tears escaping it. He looked to Maximus who nodded over Rowena's shoulder, pulling away from her gently and placing a kiss on her forehead. Once he let her go, Rowena stood by Atticus, with me on the other side of him. Harry locked gazes with Atticus, both of them sharing a look before he spoke.

"Take care of them for me, Atticus," he told him, referring to the baby and I as Atticus nodded in response, pressing his lips tightly.

"Stay safe, Harry," Atticus responded, making Harry nod in response with his teeth sunk into his lower lip.

Maximus got into the drivers seat after exchanging one last look with Rowena and shut the door. Harry walked around the front of the car to get into the driver's seat, but before he got in, I shouted out something that suddenly popped into my mind.

" Harry!"

He looked back with his brows lowered.

"I forgive you!"

A pained look flashed across his face, his lips curling upwards in an attempt to smile as a lone tear rolled down his cheek. He looked away, wiping his cheek with the back of his hand as he turned around and got into the car. It roared to life and began pulling away.

I watched him leave with a broken heart and no hope that he would ever return.
