"It's a disturbing and disgusting!" said Arshi.

"Yet, absurd" said Arshad.

"But what I know that those stories aren't consistent, but never that crazy in my whole life!" said Wahid.

Both of them went to the cart. The villagers, as usual, still upset, even children weren't going to school happily. Houses were made of tins, clays and bamboos that were like an old neighborhood. Rotten fields in such a way that, bees were swarming around-almost extinct-plus, most of the villages weren't maintained, except for Khalil's house which was more of a breath of fresh air. On the way to their house, in-between the rotten farms, The Boss, as said by Arshad, just walking on the opposite direction. His mustache had full of dead ants and some bread crumbs.

He stared at the bull in a weird, creepy fashion. Loathed, Arshad attempted to run fast but stopped by The Boss and said "you seem familiar. Aren't you the one who made stampede against us?"

"You've been perfectly cruel to the animals!" sneered Arshad.

"I just quit that, since the stampede. Now I'm a teacher, and people call me 'Hashib Sir'" said Hashib, The Boss.

"So Mr. Hasib, you still have that unlikely balance but what do you actually teach, sir?" asked Arshad.

"I teach math? I guess" he answered bluntly.

"Anyway, we need to go" said Wahid.

"Oh, so the journalist is here...have a nice time in Meghpur" said Hashib playfully.

Hashib walked away with a strange mathematic book, looked more like a guide source for the forbidden books, plus were not updated when the fascist government fled away from the country. Then, they went to Khalil's house with a bit of tiredness and an unlikely aura.

The day hadn't ended yet.

Khalil, as usual, welcoming them home like a regular guest.

"Hello Dears, come join us!" greeted Khalil with a lot of enthusiasm.

His presence comforted the trio. They've once again entered the mansion. Khalil's wife, Shabnaz just arrived. Wahid hadn't seen Shabnaz before. She aged so well as with the beauty that she held upon. Her sari was quite thick as the sweater. Her veiled cloth just awed Arshi and Arshad was indifferent as he was familiar with the fragrance of the white rose.

"Greetings, you must be Wahid and Arshi. I apologize for not being in the scene. I was in Dhaka for some 'personal' work. Welcome, dear guests, our door is always open" said Shabnaz.

The only person who was watching television and looked at the back was, Mahima, eating pancakes. After looking at them she...was...mortified.

"Hello" she said, with a smile of embarrassment.

They got into the house and sat on the living room. It's quiet and no elites came around, as it was morning, although, cloudy. Khalil, Arshad and Wahid sat at the sofas, as that of a Victorian Era, whereas Shabnaz and Arshi sat on the second guest room that had white curtains and small chairs made of wool and wood with the surrounding of the white and curtains in a small hut.

"What did you see, while investigating the ghost issues?" asked Khalil.

"The only thing that we've found are nothing but some scars and blood in the pond. Some were possessed, some were crazy naked!" said Wahid.

"It seems, there are more than what we all see" said Khalil.

"And what's up with Hashib, being a teacher for an ex-animal trafficker?" asked Arshad.

"We imprisoned him for that. But when I saw scratches of Mathematics in the wall, plus good behavior, we hired him as a teacher" said Khalil.

"That's wrong! He could be a child molester too! What if he did try to kidnap a child! Who knows?" said Wahid.

"We have a coordinator to keep an eye on him" said Khalil.

Wahid's thoughts full of mistrust have soaked on his mind. However, without thinking quickly, he sensed something mysterious about the whole nuisance going on around the village. Arshad continued talking with Khalil about the ghost sightings.

On the other side, Shabnaz and Arshi were sitting, looking at each other like a cold, rainy day. The weather was about to get dark. It might rain also. Arshi's thoughts were just flying around about what she had investigated. Perhaps, Shabnaz would ask some questions about patrolling and checking around, as well as her teammates.

"How are your teammates, Arshi?" asked Shabnaz.

"Harbans is conducting the check-post, as most of the police can't patrol streets at night, the ghost sightings and the missing people, such as Hashib's wife had been in a search-down by Ahmad and lastly, the village coordination, especially schools and offices-not on the far-side such as mill work-are done by Labya" said Arshi.

"Good, at least, you people have cell phones to track down everything. We don't usually even touch them by any means, because the village is like an 'age-freeze' thing" said Shabnaz.

Arshi chuckled. Until, a phone-call arrived by one of her teammates-Labya. She answered the call.

Meanwhile, Hashib was teaching the students but the clouds were dark and raining. He was lecturing math, and it was geometry. Thoroughly, in the chalkboard, he made a circle and inside, a pentagon, then a star with a cross line. By far, he wrote 'x' and 'y', whereas, there were reverse versions of the numbers aside. The classroom was quiet and cold. The exterior part of the school was a bit off, as a full brick, painted off white and a tin shade that has protected the hailstorm drops.

"So, class, are you familiar with this symbol?" asked Hashib.

A girl raised her hand.

"Is this the Star of David?" said the girl.

Hasib's jolly expression turned a bit of an eerie feeling that, the kid had. He came closer as if the predator hunts for its prey. The girl, petrified of his eyes, turning red and a bit of a black smoke coming out from a bottom of his foot. She was shaken that led the rest of the students to stand for her and from his neck to the hip were fading and morphing slowly to a thin, white shirt.

Then, the trio crashed the door. Wahid and Arshi were holding their licensed pistols, while Arshad was holding his axe that he got from the farm. A fat, middle aged man also arrived, who was none other than the real Hasib. So who was the 'person' who tried to rape the kid?

"Labya, evacuate the kids!" screamed and commanded Arshi.

A sweet-looking chubby police officer took out the kids to the principal's office, full of talismans that were given by Arshad for the first time, when he met Arshi. On the other hand, the classroom got dark. Wahid and Arshi held their hands on each other without even noticing it. The most scared one was Arshad who was constantly whining "Why ghosts! Why! Why! I just want Ama Didi, my Sundari, and my farm! So what...I love you all"

The ghost entirely transformed into a handsome, scarred, white shirted man with red eyes and large fangs. He growled "I would have bitten off the teacher's dick and the kid to go haywire! But you meddling kids ruin everything!"

"Why are you trespassing, even in daylight?" screamed Wahid.

"It is to even prove you that, you are no match for my powers!" said the ghost.

"Poor choice...do say a better word! We're not in the 80s anymore" said Wahid.

"Wahid...you're crossing your limits!" whispered Arshi.

"Surely, he did. But there would be consequences, if you, Mr. Wahid do not leave! Now, you believe in ghosts? We aren't ones but we are more. When the scars of the past can't heal, it gets strong because, we have past but no present and future. We are born before the fucking world! We are fallen, but we are superior!" said the ghost with a cackling laugh.

Wahid shot the pistol. The ghost turned into a smoke. The trio looked around and they heard "oopsy, daisy!"

They looked up, crawling like a spider with the red eyes. Arshi shot again. The black smoke roamed around a cackling laugh. The entity pulled his head, looking headless. Its insanity such as of a gorilla wasn't stopping, until, Wahid's shirt had been torn only at the top few bottoms. It looked at the locket and it screamed hard. Then fled like a smoke on the broken window. It surprised the trio and yes, there would be something that Wahid may observe.

"That's a load of shit going on all of us!" said Arshi.

"But the hints that the ghost has given us, it's pretty wild to guess!" said Wahid.

"Bro, I think, you and I need to get to the library. I think, there would be books about those entities!" said Arshad.

Then Wahid looked at the symbol with his mouth wide open.

"Yes...yes...we should and Arshi, you need to patrol and restrict the villagers to go out at six and distribute the talismans secretly" said Wahid.

"I'll do it, my love. You don't need to worry. And yes, do update me about the case, or else, I'll follow you like I did back in college" said Arshi.

Wahid smiled.

Arshad and Wahid cleaned the cart. They went on their way to the library.
