"Assalamwu'Alaikum, Peace be upon you!" said Arshad in a loud voice with a smile.

An old imam was about five feet, four inches got out slowly and respectfully like a king. His smile with the long beard had a fatherly smile and kind towards the visitors of the masjid. His 'somewhat' majestic arrival warmth Wahid, such that a grandparent he actually wanted, similar to what Arshad as an enthusiastic smile.

"Wua'Alaikumassalam, Peace be upon you too! Isn't Ama here, yet?" asked the imam.

"Oh, she's been taken care by sister Arshi" said Arshad.

"Did you let Arshi to take care of Ama Didi?" exclaimed and whispered Wahid gently.

"Ah...Yes" said Arshad.

"Well, Ama Didi was a donor of our masjid. She used to feed the orphans and needy, you know? Even Jinn were pleased by her. This is where Arshad was adopted from" said the imam.

"Ama Didi is a dear lady...Anyway, I am here to talk to you about the recent attacks that's happening in the valley, even in the daylight. A fisherman killed, a girl possessed, a mill worker turned insane and impersonating a teacher in school! What's going on?" asked Wahid.

"Have you seen the scars?" asked the imam.

Wahid hesitated first but later, he said "Yes, I did".

"That means, there is something twirling on the neck?" asked the imam.

"Yes, it is. Kind of like 'six'. But according to your religion, that's just the number" said Wahid.

"It's true, but if you've read it closer, the Bible doesn't allow it. We call it, the sign of Dajjal and some call it, Anti-Christ" said the imam.

"Is there a solution, regarding it?" asked Wahid.

"We have to call for a meeting. The priest, the monk and I" said imam, who would set into actions.

The imam got out of the masjid, where the neighboring church and Hindu-Buddhist temple were no less beautiful like the religious place. Despite the rain turned shallow, they walked a little further to a place where the unholy spirits have been banned, especially in a park which was quite dried compared to the concrete road. However, the curious Arshad and the worn out Wahid looked at the three religious men together in the bench of the park.

"Did the occult rose again, Galel?" asked the priest.

"Yes, Father Morpheus, it has," said Galel, the imam.

"This is really dangerous! How will Meghpur live to this calamity?" asked the monk.

"Hush! We should not jump into the conclusions, yet, Pundit Xing Lama," said Morpheus, the priest.

Wahid and Arshad realized that the conversations were not about religion or superstitions. It was about three wise men talking about something that had never been done before. However, the conversation continued. It was still clouded and cold, as Wahid was shivering a bit. Wahid took out a jacket from his bag pack, whereas Arshad have worn a shawl that most of the men wore. The three wise men: Galel, Morpheus and Xing were anxious about something they need to reveal.

"The Satanic unholy spirits strikes again!" said Xing.

"We are not sure, yet. Since, I've finished all my graduations, including in Islamic University, most probably 1996 in Chittagong, I've heard the ghost sightings increased in the same timeline, but the late 1980s was an inception" said Galel.

"Well, I was a student in Catholic University in The Catholic Social Services Department, America where, not only as an international student, but also as a Bishop, I was delivering my life to God. However, it's probably, in 1997, I passed. Some people in the valley though of us as an uneducated individuals. But what have I seen, was nothing more than a dangerous effort. Some of the satanic worshippers, paid heed to the fire that was a 'six' like curve on the wall! It was highly unlikely to survive in this calamity!" said Morpheus.

"Our Cardiff University gave a lot of offer in the Buddhist Studies. Even other religions learnt it like both of the university did. However, I learnt a lot of Hinduism with Chinese and Indians, but with some Bengalis along. As you have passed out of your respected universities, I was there around the same time. Anyway, peace could have strayed away those unholy spirits but if the harmony is disturbed, it might soon became the disastrous rage. How about a trinity of the religion?" asked Xing.

"That's a great idea! But, we need to burn the grave of the unholy spirit who's responsible for the murders!" said Morpheus.

"I remember, by the time he was alive, as a person, he wasn't an evil man. He came across as friendly for the ones he's loyal to, until, he met a group of smugglers to make a bar, similar to a European horse ranch. His greed forced himself to distribute the wine to the valley. And his love, Sultana had been always supportive towards him due to his charming but kind nature! Until, he was outside, hanging around with his friends, he was dragged by our previous patriarch of the village, Shameem. Then his son, Khaleel have slit his throat. Since that day, Sultana disappeared along with the others. After his demise, everyone in the valley were mourning, shattered and some criticized the patriarch for that! Maybe, it's his kind and wise nature" said Galel.

"What's his name?" said Wahid, who interrupted the meeting.

"His name's...most probably...M. Azad" said the holy trio.

Wahid was skeptical but wasn't quite sure, if the name was closer to his own past.

Then, they got into their respective holy books and variety of folklores which were real, as well as the other edition of the 'Meghpur Folks'. On the further note, they looked at the chapters of the occults and its prevention. Decision was made in private. Wahid and Arshad were patiently waiting for the holy trinity to come. After a few minutes, they've arrived.

Galel came with the kerosene oil and lighter, as well as the small verses that were in an old, polished pages. However, Morpheus took a bottle of water, similar to an old-fashioned perfume and Xing came with garlic, red chili and the incense stick with thyme and rosewater jar. Arshad and Wahid stood at the front of the masjid.

"In order to remove the unholy spirit, you need to burn the grave. Here's your gas lighter, kerosene and 'Ayat-ul Kursi', I mean the 255th para of Surah Al-Baqarah. You have to recite it louder before you're entering the grave" said Galel.

"This is the holy water to both of your bodies. Use it before digging the grave. So that, evil spirits won't possess you" said Morpheus.

"And use the incense stick while digging out the grave, as the protection gets stronger. But use the thyme, red chili, garlic and rose water, after the holy water" said Xing.

Wahid and Arshad thanked them and hoped into the cart. After an hour of passing the library and the muddy road, they got into a cold and foggy graveyard. Before entering the grave, they recited the verses louder and lighten up the incense stick. The graveyard was so muddy that, they put holy water. It was divided into three yards. One were the Muslims, the others were Buddhists, Hindus and the last one was Christian. However, in the Muslim grave, there were thousands of abandoned graves. Walking through it, Arshad pointed a grave.

"Bhaiya! Here's the grave!" cried Arshad.

They got into the gravestone and was written in a red ink:

M...Azad

1960-1987

'Indeed to the Almighty, and to Him, we shall return'

It was so plain that the cause of death wasn't told vaguely.

Arshad gave him the shovel that was from his cart. But before that, they used the incense sticks, given by the monk. Henceforth, Wahid poured garlic, thyme and chili. The strong scent comforted them to dig the grave. After hours of digging it, they've been tired. Ground was soft and loosened. Still, they couldn't gave up.

They even dug into the portion, just to see a white cloth. It wasn't even there.

There...was...nothing!

Then, the man with a black cloak arrived at the scene. The duo looking at him, bewildered. He crept in front and the fog was clear-it was Shamsher. Wahid wasn't expecting him to eavesdrop their digging in the grave. Shamsher's eyes made a creepy smile. His long hair was flaunted upon.

"So...digging and empty grave to burn the body alive, is it?" said Samsher with sarcasm.

"Yes...but...why it's blank?" asked Wahid.

"And giving us false hopes to excavate the ghost?" screamed Arshad but silenced by Samsher.

"Umm...what if I tell you that if he's living, not as a spirit but a human?" riddled Samsher.

Wahid and Arshad were shocked.

"What do you mean?" asked Wahid.

Shamsher first hesitated by his creepiness overshadowed his fear. His yellow teeth, despite his handsome features started to laugh. Wahid and Arshad were confused of what to say to that madman. It was embarrassing and mortifying at the same time.

"He's mad...shall we avoid him?" asked Arshad.

"Hang on...he has something to say" said Wahid.

Shamsher revealed

"You need to go to Bandarban...Quite a distant away from Meghpur...I think, it's two hours... But watch out for the entities who might barge after you".

Wahid and Arshad understood the situation a bit.
