You have a big family
Calum
I walked into the kitchen and started to rummage through the cupboards.
"Let's find you something to eat." I mumbled to my baby bump.
"Morning, babe." Calum smiled as he walked in.
"Hey." I returned, pecking his lips.
"How's my baby girl doing?" he asked, putting a hand against my bump.
"She's fine, she's just hungry." I shrugged.
"That makes seven of us." He chuckled.
"Speaking of which, where are the other kids-." Suddenly, I heard squealing and laughing.
"Never mind." I chuckled as Dove, Joseph, Jocelyn and Peter came running into the kitchen.
"Daddy!" Jocelyn squealed.
"Morning, my little monsters!" he laughed as he picked her and Peter up as Dove and Joseph clung onto his legs.
"Urgh, I can't move!" he laughed.
"Attack mummy!" Joseph yelled as he ran up to me and wrapped his arms around my legs.
"No, don't attack mummy, mummy is looking after baby Lia." Calum chuckled, pulling Joseph from my legs.
"You can attack mummy in three months." I smiled.
"I'll hold you to that." He laughed before running off to join his brother and sisters in the living room. Calum looked at me.
"Where did he learn that saying?" he asked.
"I don't know..." I muttered.
"Right. Well, I'm going to get started on their breakfast, otherwise we're going to have four very loud, very hungry monsters." He chuckled before getting out the pancake mix.
Luke
I yawned as I walked out into the kitchen.
"Morning, love." Luke smiled, pecking my lips.
"Morning." I returned before looking at the kids.
"Okay, we have Rosa, Liz, Stephen, Alex and...where's Amelia?" I sighed.
"She's still in bed." Alex mumbled. I groaned.
"You were meant to wake her up, babe." I sighed at Luke.
"She's reached the age now where she'll swear the house down if I so much as turn her door handle, I'm not being responsible for that at eight in the morning." He chuckled, popping a piece of bacon into his mouth.
"Right. Stephen, I give you permission to go jump on your sister." I muttered.
"Yes!" he laughed, running off and up the stairs.
"No, buddy, don't do that!" Luke yelled after him.
"Never mind." He sighed as a scream came from her room. Stephen sprinted down the stairs, followed by a very angry Amelia.
"What the fuck, Stephen?!" she screamed.
"Hey, don't swear at your brother." Luke scolded as she sat down at the island.
"So, he's allowed to jump on me, but I'm not allowed to swear?" she scoffed.
"Him waking you up means you're not going to miss the bus." Luke shrugged, making her roll her eyes.
"Oh, Rosa, your dad and I have somewhere to be tonight, so you're picking Liz and Stephen up from school." I spoke.
"Why me? What about Alex or Amelia?" she groaned.
"Do you remember the last time they picked them up?" Luke asked, raising an eyebrow. There was a pause.
"Right, okay, yeah, I'll pick them up." She nodded.
"Good girl. Oh, I have to go." I muttered, pecking Luke's lips before placing a kiss on all of the kids' heads.
"See you later, babe." Luke called after me before I shut the door.
Michael
"What is happening?" Michael yelled through the house as he stood in the doorway of the open front door.
"I don't know, I lost track of our lives after four kids." I joked, making him smile at me.
"Right, I have McKenzie in the car, Jackson is putting on his shoes, I think Violet is finishing her makeup, Tony is finishing his breakfast, but where the hell are John and Mia?" he sighed.
"I'm pretty sure that Mia has locked John out of the bathroom." I shrugged.
"Why did we have so many kids?" he chuckled.
"I wanted to stop at four, but no, you forgot to buy condoms." I smiled.
"Yeah, I don't want to hear about how we were all accidents because you guys couldn't keep off of each other." Tony mumbled as he grabbed his jacket.
"None of you were accidents, T. Well, Mia and John weren't exactly planned, but..." Michael chuckled.
"Don't call me T." Tony grumbled as he made his way out to the car.
"Two down, four to go." Michael sighed.
"Come on, gang, we were meant to be at grandma and granddad's by now." I yelled.
"Coming!" Violet returned as she trotted down the stairs. Michael's eyes widened at her.
"Is there a face beneath that makeup?" he asked.
"God, dad, I need to look good." She rolled her eyes.
"You're going to your grandparents' house, not a party." He scoffed.
"I need to be ready in case I bump into a friend." She huffed, rolling her eyes again before leaving the house.
"Half way there, Jackson, out." I demanded. He stood up and walked out of the door.
"Mia, John, out now, or we're leaving your asses behind!" Michael yelled.
"Wait, no!" John groaned as they ran down the stairs. John ran straight out but Mia stood in front of Michael.
"Mia, out, now." He demanded.
"You wouldn't be able to leave us behind even if you wanted to, we're under sixteen, so it would be illegal-."
"I'm not going to ask again, M." he warned. She rolled her eyes before walking out.
"What is it with Clifford kids and rolling their eyes?" he sighed as we left the house.
"I don't know. But I do know that this is going to be a long journey." I nodded.
"Uh huh. See you on the other side." He mumbled, holding out his fist. I nodded again and fist-bumped him before getting into the car.
Ashton
I opened my eyes and smiled at the sight of snow falling outside. I yawned as I clicked on my phone and read the time. 6:15am on the 25th of December. I sighed as I turned over and smiled as I felt Ashton's arm wrap around my waist.
"Merry Christmas, baby girl." He mumbled.
"Merry Christmas, babe. It's six fifteen." I muttered.
"Oh, god." He chuckled, making me sigh.
"Three, two," he started.
"No." I groaned into his neck.
"One." He chuckled.
"Mummy! Daddy!" the door burst open and Tina, Betty and Simon ran in. I groaned as they jumped up onto the bed.
"Sorry, dad, I couldn't stop them." Bethany sighed as she stood at the doorway.
"It's okay, B, you know they're unstoppable." Ashton chuckled as he sat up.
"Merry Christmas, my little monkeys." He smiled.
"And my big monkey." He grinned at Bethany. She chuckled and shook her head before walking away.
"How about you guys start opening presents, daddy and I need to have a little chat." I smiled. Ashton looked at me in confusion as they ran off into the living room.
"What's up?" he asked, sitting up and looking at me with concerned eyes.
"I have a present for you, that I didn't put under the tree." I spoke as I leant over and opened my bedside table drawer. I dug out the box and handed it to him.
"Open it." I smiled. He returned it before quickly unwrapping the box. His eyes widened at the letters that spelt out "pregnancy test". He looked at me before quickly opening the box and tipping out the test. A smile spread across his face as he looked at me.
"Are you actually pregnant?" he smiled. I nodded and bit my lip.
"Aww, babe, that's brilliant." He laughed as he engulfed me in a hug.
"Child number five is on its way." I chuckled.
"And I can't wait." He smiled before pecking my lips again.
"Come on, let's open some more presents." He smiled before peeling back the covers and rushing out of our bedroom.
Calum
Calum and I walked into IKEA with the kids and looked around.
"Okay, let's do this." I sighed as I cradled baby Leo, Calum carrying Martha and the other four kids immediately running ahead.
"Hey, don't run off, this is a big shop. We need to stay together." Calum spoke.
"Why are we even here?" Noah grumbled, hands shoved in his jacket pockets.
"Because Martha needs a new bed." I sighed.
"Oh, I want a new bed!" Annabelle piped up.
"Me too!" Charlie yelled.
"Well, if they're both getting new beds, I definitely need a new bed." Lisa scoffed.
"Nobody is getting a new bed, apart from Martha." Calum sighed.
"Aww, why?" they all whined. Calum looked at Noah.
"See what you started?" he asked.
"I didn't do anything!" he protested. Calum rolled his eyes before putting Martha down and walking ahead with the rest of the kids.
Calum
"Here we are." Calum spoke as he stopped the car in front of the holiday villa that we'd rented out.
"I need to pee." Katie whined.
"So do I." Caleb nodded.
"Well, there's three bathrooms in this place, so just go." I shrugged as I got out of the car. The kids screamed as they jumped out of the car.
"Jacob, help your dad with the bags." I spoke.
"Why?" he groaned.
"Because you're the oldest. Also, you're technically an adult, adults get the heavy lifting." I chuckled.
"You're not doing any heavy lifting." He sighed.
"That's because I'm pregnant, I'm doing my own heavy lifting." I scoffed as I opened the door and all of the kids ran in.
"Okay, Lia, Katie and Beth are in the bedroom on the right, Caleb, Jacob and Wesley are in the bedroom on the left." I instructed. Calum appeared next to me with most of the bags on his arms. He puffed out as he looked at me.
"Why did we think it was a good idea to bring all the kids with us?" he chuckled. I returned it as I walked into the kitchen.
"We better get started on lunch. I can't believe you left the snack bag at home." I sighed.
"It's an easy thing to forget." Calum shrugged.
"Not with six kids and a pregnant lady in the house." I chuckled. He returned it and shook his head as the kids ran into the kitchen.
"Ey, ey, no running in the villa." Calum scolded as Beth sat on one of the stools of the breakfast bar.
"What's for lunch?" she asked.
"I don't know, what do you want?" Calum asked. Beth thought for a moment.
"A pizza." She smiled.
"Okay. Pizza it is." He nodded as he walked to the freezer.
"And we don't have any pizza." He sighed.
"Are you kidding?" I groaned.
"Nope." He spoke as he grabbed the car keys.
"Jacob, we're going to get pizza." He yelled.
"Why me?" he groaned as he walked down the stairs.
"Because you're the eldest, and we need enough pizza for everyone." He sighed. Jacob rolled his eyes as he walked past Calum and through the front door.
"See you in an hour, babe." He smiled before shutting the door.
Luke
I opened my eyes slowly and sighed at the rain pelting against the window. I looked at the time. 1:15am. I jumped slightly as a flash of lightning appeared outside the window, prompting Luke to wake up too.
"Jesus, what the fuck was that?" he groaned.
"A thunderstorm." I sighed.
"Shit. You know what that means." He grumbled.
"Yup." I nodded. As if on cue, the door burst open and Parker, Jocelyn and Carrie ran in, screaming.
"It's thundering outside, and I don't like it!" Jocelyn cried as they ran to the bed.
"Oh dear. Come and snuggle up with mummy and daddy, then." Luke sighed, picking Carrie up and placing her onto the bed before doing the same to Parker as Jocelyn scrambled up.
"Come on, in between mummy and daddy." I smiled, resting Parker into my side as Carrie and Jocelyn snuggled into Luke.
"Mum, dad!" I groaned and looked back at the doorway to see Sarah and Jensen standing there.
"Aren't you two a little old to be afraid of thunderstorms?" Luke asked.
"You're never too old to be afraid of thunderstorms." Jensen scoffed as they climbed into bed and squeezed in between Luke and I with the other kids.
"Alright, then." Luke chuckled.
"Everyone needs to try to get to sleep, it's a school night." I sighed.
"Goodnight." They all spoke.
"Goodnight, gang." Luke nodded before looking at me.
"Goodnight, babe." He smiled. I returned it before closing my eyes and resting my chin against Parker's head.
Michael
"Guys, we really can't be late for this!" I yelled up the stairs.
"We know, mum!" Simon shouted back.
"Then why is nobody in the fucking car?!" I yelled. I sighed as Michael appeared from the kitchen.
"You'd think they'd be on time when they finally meet their new sister." I sighed.
"To be fair, they weren't on time for Jason either." He shrugged. I sighed and nodded as I looked back at the stairs to see all of the kids coming down.
"Guys, funnily enough, when you're adopting a child, you can't be late to pick them up." I spoke.
"We know, you went through this with Jason." Alexa mumbled.
"Then why are we still late?" I sighed as we walked out of the door.
We walked into the adoption centre and looked around.
"May I help you?" I turned around and saw a woman walking towards us.
"Hi, yes, we're the Cliffords, we're adopting Lizzie." Michael smiled. The woman returned it.
"Brilliant, have you adopted a child before?" she asked.
"Yes, Jason is adopted, but Simon, Alexa and Tom are our biological kids." Michael nodded, ruffling Jason's hair.
"Okay, give me a minute, Lizzie is nearly ready to go." She smiled before disappearing through the doors.
"Guys, Lizzie is only two, and she's rather small, so don't frighten her." I spoke.
"We're not going to frighten her, mum." Tom sighed. I returned it as the doors opened and the woman walked out, with Lizzie following closely behind.
"Hello, Lizzie, we're your new family." Michael smiled as he got down on one knee so that he was at eye level with Lizzie. She just looked at him, her blanket in her tight grip.
"How old are you, Lizzie?" I asked. She looked at me before holding up two fingers.
"Two? Wow, you're such a big girl." Michael smiled. She returned his smile and nodded.
"Come on, Lizzie, let's go home." Michael nodded. She returned it before reaching up her arms. I chuckled as Michael picked her up.
"There we go. You ready to go to your new home?" I asked.
"Yeah." She smiled. Michael and I returned it before we started to walk out.
Ashton
"I want this baby out of me." I huffed, looking at my nine-month pregnant bump as I sat next to Ashton on the sofa. He sighed and looked at me.
"You've said that about every kid." He chuckled.
"Because every kid was late, including this one, who needs to get the fuck out of me!" I yelled. Suddenly, the door opened and Alex walked in with Jake, Hannah, Leo and Devon.
"Hello, my little monkeys." Ashton smiled as Jake climbed onto his lap.
"Did you guys have a good day at school?" I asked.
"Yeah." Hannah nodded as her, Devon and Leo headed into the kitchen.
"So, no signs of the baby coming?" Alex asked as he sat down.
"Not yet, babe." I sighed. He returned it and nodded. I looked down at my bump.
"Get out. Get out, you silly baby. You've overstayed your welcome by two weeks, get out." I spat.
"Mum, that's your child, and our sibling that you're talking to." Alex chuckled.
"You don't understand, honey. Every single one of you was late, you were a week and a half late. This is the sixth and final baby, you'd think that she'd be on time." I mumbled.
"Is there anything you can do to speed up labour?" he asked. Ashton and I looked at each other.
"Sex can induce labour." Ashton smirked at me.
"Oh my god, are you kidding? Sex is what got you here, you're seriously talking about doing it again to make the baby come? You're so gross." Alex grimaced as he stood up.
"How do you think you and your siblings came to be around?" Ashton chuckled.
"I DON'T WANT TO KNOW!" He yelled.
