Calum

I opened my eyes but immediately closed them again as they were met with a blinding light. I peeled them open slightly and looked around. My eyes widened as I was in a hospital room. I sat up slightly, hissing at the pain my body was in. I looked down at my arm and groaned as it was in a plaster cast. Suddenly, Calum walked in.

"You're finally awake." He sighed in relief as he pecked my lips and sat down in the chair next to my bed.

"What happened?" I asked groggily.

"You don't remember?" he asked. I shook my head.

"Some drunk asshole ran you off the road. You got a concussion, and you were knocked out, but luckily, the extent of your injuries was a broken arm and some bruises." He explained. I sighed and laid back on the bed.

"Fucking great." I mumbled.

"I'm just glad you're okay. According to the doctors, you could have been killed." He muttered.

"Running someone off the road isn't going to kill them, Cal." I spoke.

"It might if you run them into a fucking tree." He scoffed.

"Oh. Well, in that case, I'm glad that I'm alive." I smiled, looking at him.

"Trust me, babe, so am I." he returned, kissing my hand.
