You break up
Calum
"Babe, come on, we can't be late for this reservation!" Calum yelled up the stairs.
"I'm coming." I chuckled as I walked down the stairs.
"Only took you half an hour." He smiled.
"Says he who took two hours to do his hair this morning." I teased.
"We agreed never to bring that up." He laughed, making me return it as we left the house.
Calum and I sat in the restaurant, finishing our food.
"Y/N, I need to talk to you about something." Calum spoke. I looked at him.
"Okay." I nodded.
"Well, more accurately, I need to ask you something." He spoke, looking at me timidly as he took a velvet box out of his pocket and opened it. My eyes widened as it contained a beautiful engagement ring.
"No, Calum..." I whispered.
"Y/N, we've been together for four years and it's been incredible. You've helped me grow as a person, as a boyfriend, as a band member. You've inspired so much of my music, and I love you for it. So, will you marry me?" he smiled. I gulped, my heart pounding through my chest.
"I...I...no." I choked. His smile immediately dropped.
"What?" he choked. I looked at him, completely clueless as to what to say.
"I can't marry you, Calum, I'm sorry." I gulped.
"Why not, we love each other-." I looked down. He looked at me with broken eyes.
"We love each other...right?" he choked.
"I was going to wait until tomorrow to tell you this, I didn't want to ruin our anniversary. But, I...I don't love you anymore." I admitted. Calum choked and looked down.
"Who is he?" he mumbled, making me sigh.
"Calum, no, there's no other guy, there's just nothing left here." I gulped.
"Maybe not for you. But for me, we're everything. I just proposed to you for fucks sake, I want a family with you, and now, after four years together, you tell me you don't love me anymore?" he choked, looking back at me. I returned his choke as tears ran down his face.
"I'm sorry, Calum. I never meant to hurt you." I whispered. He scoffed and shook his head.
"I think you should leave. I'll pay for the food." He mumbled.
"Are you sure-."
"Just fucking go." He choked, looking at me. I sighed and nodded before standing up and grabbing my stuff.
"Goodbye, Calum." I whispered. He shook his head and scoffed as he looked down. I sighed and started to walk away. I looked back at him to see him looking at the ring before slamming the box shut and shoving it into his pocket, making tears leave my eyes as I left.
Luke
I opened my eyes slowly as I heard my phone buzz. I looked to my side and sighed as Luke wasn't next to me in bed, as usual. I looked at my phone and sighed as I had a text from Calum.
Calum: I took this photo last night. I'll let him tell you about her. I'm sorry.
My eyebrows furrowed as I opened the photo. My eyes widened and I choked as soon as I opened it. I stared at the photo, the one that showed Luke kissing another woman in a club and smirking into it. I put my hand over my mouth as tears started to leave my eyes. I quickly got out of bed and stormed out into the rest of the apartment. I walked into the living room, where Luke was watching TV.
"Morning, babe." He smiled as he saw me. I threw my phone down next to him, him flinching as it nearly hit him.
"Y/N, what the fuck?" he scoffed.
"Fucking look at it." I spat. He looked at me before unlocking my phone and looking at the photo. His eyes widened and he sighed.
"Fucking Calum." He mumbled as he rubbed his hands over his face.
"So, it's true?" I asked. He sighed and looked at me.
"Who is she?" I choked. He looked down.
"I met her when I was on tour. Her name is Lana." He mumbled. My eyes widened.
"On tour? That was, like, three days after we got engaged." I scoffed.
"I know." He nodded. I gulped and looked at him.
"Are you still seeing her?" I asked. He stood up.
"Y/N, please-."
"LUCAS ROBERT HEMMINGS, ARE YOU STILL CHEATING ON ME?!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. His eyes wavered and he looked down.
"Yes." He admitted quietly. I choked and sat down, losing the strength to stay stood up.
"I'm so sorry, Y/N. I never meant to hurt you, and I know this is so cliché, but it's not you, it's me. I still love you, so much, it's just that I met her one night when I was drunk beyond belief, one thing led to another, and then it happened more. I never intended for this to happen." He scoffed and shook his head. I choked and looked down as I started to pull my engagement ring off of my finger, making his eyes widen.
"Y/N, please don't." he choked.
"Luke, I love you, but you clearly don't love me back, and I'm not going to marry a man who is cheating on me." I shook my head and stood up before placing the ring into the palm of his hand.
"Please, don't do this." He shook his head, tears leaving his eyes. I choked and shook my head before grabbing my purse and my coat.
"Goodbye, Luke." I mumbled as I opened the apartment door and left.
Michael
Tears ran down my face as I waited for Michael to get back. As if on cue, the door opened.
"Baby?" Michael's voice rung out, making me close my eyes as I knew what was coming. I stood up as Michael rushed into the room.
"Luke told me. Luke told me that you're pregnant." He nodded.
"He shouldn't have done." I shook my head.
"Why not, baby? This is incredible! We've been trying since we got married-."
"He shouldn't have told you, because the baby isn't yours." I admitted. Michael looked at me as his smile slowly dipped.
"What?" he asked after a moment of deafening silence.
"The baby. It's not yours. You're not going to be a dad." I shook my head. I gulped as tears immediately started to leave his eyes as he sat down.
"So, what? You cheated? Well, I mean, obviously you did, if you're pregnant but not with my child." He mumbled to himself as he held his head in his hands.
"Michael, I'm so sorry." I choked as I sat next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"No, don't you dare." He scoffed as he shot up and away from me. My eyes widened.
"Don't you dare. You betrayed my trust, Y/N. In our vows, you promised our lives to each other. Becoming my wife meant that you were promising to never be with anyone else ever again, and you've broken that." He nodded, tears rapidly leaving his eyes. I gulped.
"Michael, I'm sorry. I'll do anything, I'll put the baby up for adoption, I'll have an abortion-."
"DON'T YOU FUCKING GET IT?!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, making me flinch.
"You're pregnant, Y/N, with another man's child! This isn't about the baby, this is about the fact that you cheated on me, and got fucking pregnant!" he yelled, tears rolling down his face. I choked and looked down. He sighed.
"I'm going to go stay at Ashton's. We're done." He nodded as he took his wedding ring off and put it on the table.
"I'm sorry, Michael." I choked as he went to leave the room. He looked back at me.
"I love you. But we're done." He whispered before leaving the room.
Ashton
I opened my eyes slowly and squinted as the sunlight streamed through the curtains. I looked to my side and sighed. Tears pricked my eyes as the other side of the bed was still empty. It had been two months and I still missed Ashton sleeping next to me. I wiped my eyes and got out of bed before pulling a hoodie on over my pyjamas. I walked out into the kitchen and smiled as Luna and Aida sat at the breakfast bar.
"Morning, my beautiful girls." I spoke as I picked Aida up.
"Morning, mummy." The three-year-old squealed, making me smile.
"When's daddy getting back from tour?" Luna asked. I gulped and looked down, wishing that that was where he had been.
"He's getting back any minute, babe." I nodded. As if on cue, the doorbell rang.
"That'll be him." I spoke as I put Aida down and walked through the house. I opened the door and gulped.
"Hey." Ashton gave me a small smile.
"Hey." I mumbled as I stepped aside and let him in.
"You ready to do this?" he asked.
"I'm about to tell my seven and three-year-old daughters that their daddy isn't in love with me anymore, of course I'm not ready." I scoffed. He sighed and gave me a small smile as he walked through to the kitchen.
"Daddy!" they screamed as they jumped down from the breakfast bar and ran to him.
"My favourite girls!" he laughed as he picked Aida up and hugged Luna.
"We've missed you so much." Aida smiled.
"Daddy missed you too." He returned. I coughed, making Ashton look at me.
"Um, girls, we need to talk to you about something." He nodded as he carried Aida through the living room, Luna following them. I sighed as I walked in and sat next to Ashton on the sofa as the girls sat opposite us. I looked at Ashton.
"You start." I mumbled. He sighed and nodded before looking at the girls.
"Daddy has a confession to make. I wasn't on tour with your uncles for the last two months. I was staying with uncle Luke, because your mummy and I have split up." He admitted quietly as tears pricked my eyes. The girls looked at him.
"What does that mean?" Luna asked.
"It means that mummy and daddy will no longer be together, and daddy will be living in another house, and he may be living with another woman when you get older." I nodded, making Ashton look at me. We sighed as the girls' lips started to tremble.
"Does that mean we won't see daddy anymore?" Aida asked.
"No, sweetie, not at all, you'll just be living with both of us, at different times." Ashton nodded. Tears left my eyes as the girls started to cry.
"Listen, girls. The important thing to remember is that mummy and I both love you so much. We're never going to stop loving you, okay? Mummy and daddy not loving each other doesn't in any way mean that we don't love you." Ashton reassured. The girls nodded and sniffed.
"Luna, please take Aida to your room." I mumbled. Luna nodded before taking Aida's hand and leaving the room. Tears left my eyes as Ashton sighed and sat back.
"That was the hardest thing I've ever had to do." He mumbled.
"What, telling me that you no longer loved me wasn't?" I scoffed.
"Don't do this." He sighed. I returned it before leaning forward and grabbing the signed divorce papers.
"Here. I'll drop the girls off tomorrow." I mumbled. He sighed again before taking the papers and standing up. I closed my eyes and let the tears fall as I heard him walk to the door and then stop.
"For the record, I don't regret any of it. Why would I, I loved you and you gave me two beautiful daughters. I can never thank you enough for that." He scoffed. I looked at him.
"I don't regret any of it either." I nodded. He gave me a small smile.
"Goodbye, Y/N." he whispered before leaving. I looked down again as I let the tears fall.
