Struggling artists *final part*
Calum (Struggling photographer)
I walked into the building where Calum was doing his photoshoot.
"Y/N! Here, Y/N!" the paparazzi shouted as I headed in.
"Hello, Mrs Hood." The receptionist smiled.
"Oh, Calum and I aren't married." I smiled.
"Yet." She mumbled, making my eyebrows furrow. I walked into the elevator and pressed the bottom before it started to go up. The doors opened and I walked in to see Calum snapping pictures of the models. He spotted me.
"Hey, baby." He smiled as he kissed me.
"Hey. How's the shoot going?" I asked, smiling at the models.
"Look for yourself." He shrugged, showing me the photos.
"He's captured my good side, hasn't he?" one of the models joked.
"You all look beautiful." I smiled as I took off my jacket.
"Hey, can I talk to you?" Calum asked.
"Sure." I nodded. He gently took my hand and led me out of the room.
"I have some bad news." He sighed.
"Which is?" I asked.
"The photoshoot is nowhere near finished, so I can't make dinner." He spoke.
"Aw, Cal, we've had this booked for a month." I groaned.
"I know, baby, I'm sorry, but I'll make it up to you." He promised, taking my face in his hands.
"Okay." I sighed.
"But I do have a surprise for you." He spoke. I looked at him expectantly. He let go of my face and took something out of his pocket. My eyes widened as he opened the velvet box to reveal a stunning diamond ring.
"It was my grandmother's. Mum gave it to me last week when I said that I wanted to propose." He spoke gently.
"Yes." I smiled. He returned it before sliding the ring onto my finger and kissing me.
"I love you so much." I smiled.
"I love you too." He returned.
Luke (Struggling artist)
I walked around the house, looking for any food that would feed my craving. Suddenly, I felt pain in my stomach.
"Ow, Jesus, Olivia, don't kick so hard." I mumbled, rubbing my pregnant bump.
"Luke?" I called out. Nothing.
"Luke!" I yelled.
"In here, baby!" I sighed as I walked along to the nursery.
"Babe, I'm really craving onions-what are you doing?" I asked as I saw him painting on the walls.
"I read somewhere that if a baby is surrounded by creativity when they're young, they'll grow up to be creative. So, I'm painting different things on the walls." He spoke, gesturing to the rainbows and heart littered on the walls.
"Aww, that's so cute." I smiled as he wrapped one arm around my waist and getting rubbed my bump with his other hand.
"You know, she's not guaranteed to be a girl." I spoke, looking up at him.
"It's more than ninety percent reliable, I have faith." He chuckled. I just stared at him intently.
"What?" he asked.
"I just can't believe that you made it." I smiled. He returned it.
"I mean, if this baby was on the way last year, we'd be freaking out, we'd be in serious shit. But now we're happy, married, you're getting steady money from your art, we're starting a family." I sighed in relief.
"Yeah. I made it, babe." He smiled. I nodded and returned it before kissing him. Suddenly, another jolt of pain went through my stomach.
"Ow, fuck." I muttered.
"Time for a talk with daddy." He smiled as he got down on his knees and gently held my bump.
"Calm down, baby girl, you'll get your onions." He chuckled, looking up at me and kissing my bump.
Michael (Struggling musician)
I danced at the side of the stage as Michael performed at the summer festival. The crowd screamed as he finished the song.
"Hey, guys, thanks for coming out." He smiled, making them scream again.
"How you guys doing?" he asked. They screamed, making him laugh.
"Awesome." He chuckled as he looked at me.
"Hey, you guys know my fiancé, Y/N, right?" he smiled. My eyes widened and I flipped him off as I heard the crowd go wild at the mention of my name.
"How would you lovely people like it if she came out?" He chuckled. I shook my head, laughing. He returned it before turning back to the crowd.
"Aww, she's too shy, bless her." He smiled.
"Okay, that's the end of my set, thank you so much, guys!" he yelled before running off and kissing me.
"You're an asshole." I laughed.
"What? My fans want to meet the girl I'm going to marry." He chuckled as three guys came up to us.
"Oh, hey, guys." He smiled.
"Hey, man." One of them spoke. I looked at Michael expectantly.
"Oh right, this is Luke, Calum and Ashton. Guys, this is my fiancé, Y/N." he introduced us. I smiled as I shook their hands.
"Nice to meet you." Luke smiled.
"And you." I spoke.
"We need to go, we'll see you at lunch, right?" Calum asked.
"Sure." Michael nodded before they walked away.
"They're nice." I smiled as I kissed him again.
Ashton (Struggling writer)
I sat at the table next to Ashton, looking at his competition.
"Wow, there are some big authors here." I spoke.
"Yup." Ashton nodded.
"Oh, my god, is that John Green?" I laughed.
"Babe, please, I'm nervous enough as it is, and it doesn't help that you're pointing out that I'm up against the author of the fucking "fault in our stars"." He mumbled.
"Right, I'm sorry. He's big, but so are you, you're going to win this." I promised, making him sigh.
"I'm not going to win. I'm up against so many authors who have been around for years, and have several best-sellers that are read by thousands of fans. And here I am, with one book under my belt and ten people who read it." He muttered.
"Hey, you know that that's not true. You've got this." I smiled. He returned it.
"And next up is "best author of the year"." The man spoke. Ashton gripped my hands tightly.
"And the winner is..." the man opened the envelope and removed the contents.
"Ashton Irwin." He announced. Ashton's eyes widened as he looked at me and smiled. I smashed our lips together quickly.
"Go get them!" I laughed as he went up to the stage and took the award.
"Wow. Thank you so much, I can't believe that I actually won this." He smiled.
"I've been told that I have to make this quick, so I'm only going to thank one person. And that's my stunning wife, Y/N." he smiled at me. I returned it.
"Before this book, we were in serious trouble. We lived in a one-bedroom apartment that was barely big enough for a single bed. At times, we were lucky if we had three full meals a day. Despite this, she stuck by me. She always has and there wouldn't be a book if it weren't for her. I love you, Y/N." he spoke. The audience clapped as he walked down. I stood up and smiled before kissing him.
"I'm so proud of you." I whispered, holding his face.
"I love you so much." He smiled before kissing me.
