Ashton

"He's here." I called as I stood at the bottom of the stairs, waiting for Haley to come down. I looked down and sighed as I saw Ashton storming out of the kitchen and towards the front door.

"And where do you think you're going?" I asked, standing between the door and Ashton, making him groan.

"Just to get a look at the punk who is taking my daughter out tonight." He grumbled.

"Ash, calm down, we knew it was only a matter of time." I sighed.

"She's only seventeen, that's too young to date." He scoffed.

"Only seventeen? Look, her dating should be the least of our worries, she's old enough to-."

"I beg you to not finish that sentence." He groaned. I sighed.

"Ash, he's a nice boy, it's fine, she's fine." I reassured.

"You've met him?" he scoffed.

"He may have come over the other day to study with Haley." I nodded.

"And you didn't tell me because?" he asked.

"Because I knew you'd react like this." I replied. He sighed and nodded as Haley walked down the stairs.

"You ready?" I smiled.

"Yeah." She returned as the door opened and her boyfriend walked in.

"Have her back by eleven, not a second later, and if I find out you've tried anything, so help me      god-."

"Dad!" Haley spat.

"Ashton." I warned. He sighed before nodding.

"Have fun." I smiled as they left the house. I shut the door and turned to Ashton.

"Really?" I sighed. He returned it before walking into the living room.
