How he is with your baby girl
Calum
I opened my eyes slowly to see that Calum's side of the bed was empty. I sat up and looked at the crib to see that Ella was also gone. I stood from the bed and walked out of the room in search of my husband and daughter. I gently padded down the stairs as I heard soft snores. I walked into the living room and my heart filled with joy at what I found. Calum lay across the sofa, his mouth opened slightly, sleeping with baby Ella also asleep on his bare chest. I smiled at the sight and quickly took my phone out, snapping a picture. I put my phone away and leant down, gently picking up Ella. She gurgled slightly at the gesture, but her eyes remained closed as I laid her on my shoulder.
"Delete it." Calum spoke quietly as his eyes opened. I smiled at him.
"No way. When she's sixteen and is refusing to be seen in public with you, I'm going to show her that photo." I chuckled as Calum stood up and wrapped his arm around my waist.
"That day won't come, she loves me." He sighed.
"Ha, just wait fifteen more years, babe." I smiled at him.
"Come on, let's get her to bed, otherwise we'll regret it in the morning." He spoke, kissing my shoulder.
"I guess she got that from you." I joked as I walked up the stairs.
"Hey." Calum chuckled as he followed suit.
Luke
I stood at the doorway at the nursery, silently watching Luke and Ebony together for the first time since we left the hospital. She was lying in his outstretched arms, quietly gurgling away to the sound of her dad's voice.
"Hey baby girl. We've waited a long time for you." He whispered to her as he brought his arms up and left a kiss on her cheek. She stared at him, bringing a small hand up to his face and touching his beard before quickly taking her hand away.
"That's scruff, angel. Just a little hair on daddy's face." He cooed to her. Luke gently brought his face down to her, allowing her to feel his chin again. She put her hand up again before wailing at the contact and removing her tiny fingers.
"Don't worry, baby girl, daddy can shave if you don't like the scruff." He smiled gently at her, which she quickly returned. I quietly walked into the room and wrapped my arms around Luke's waist, making him jump slightly.
"How long have you been there?" he asked.
"Long enough to know that you're going to shave to protect your little princess from the bad scruff." I chuckled, making him smile.
"If she doesn't like it, then it goes." He grinned at her.
"You two are so sweet. My little family." I sighed in bliss as I rested my head against Luke's shoulder.
"Our little family." He smiled.
Michael
Michael stood next to the sink, gently pouring the warm water over baby Carla's small back. She giggled to herself as she whacked her tiny fists down against the water, making it go over the side of the sink, landing on Michael's flannel.
"Carla! Why did you do that, huh? You've got daddy's shirt wet now." He chuckled to her before looking at me.
"I can tell that she's going to be a trouble-maker when she grows up." He smiled at me. I returned it as I walked over to the sink.
"Yeah. Tattooed boyfriends and all." I chuckled, knowing that that would send Michael straight into dad mode.
"Ha, no boyfriends in my house." He scoffed as he continued to wash her.
"We'll see. I'm sorry, Mikey, but when my baby gets into her first relationship, I'm not going to be on your side." I chuckled.
"Fair enough." He sighed.
"Mind you, that's still a long way away, she's only three months old." I spoke, knowing that would sooth Michael slightly.
"Yeah, let's not wish her childhood away." He chuckled before running his hands through her hair, spiking it into a Mohawk.
"The baby's more punk rock than you." I smiled.
"Hey!"
Ashton
Ashton held Bethany above his head, dropping her down gently, causing her to squeal. He smiled as he dropped her down again, peppering her small face with kisses. She giggled at her dad's little game.
"You like this, don't you?" he smiled as he kissed her head. She gurgled in response.
"Daddy will do this more often if his baby girl likes it." He cooed. I walked into the room, smiling at my family. He dropped her down again, placing a kiss on her cheek.
"Ash, babe, please be careful with her." I spoke, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. He smiled, bringing Bethany down again and placing her against his shoulder.
"Y/N, I'm perfectly capable of holding a baby." He chucked, allowing Bethany to grab his finger with her tiny hands.
"I know, I know. I'd just rather be safe than sorry." I smiled.
"I know, babe. Don't worry, whilst I'm alive, no harm will come to either of my girls." He promised. I smiled at him before kissing him.
Calum
I opened my eyes and groaned as I heard Lisa crying through the baby monitor. I looked at the time and sighed. 3:40am. I grumbled to myself as I climbed out of bed and slumped along to the nursery.
"Shh, baby, mummy's here, it's okay." I sighed as I walked towards her crib. She let out a loud shriek as I bent down to pick her up.
"Come on, Lis, be quiet for mummy." I mumbled as I gently picked her up and cradled her in my arms. She continued to cry, kicking and punching out her tiny fists.
"Baby, please, mummy is very tired, please be quiet." I sighed, gently bopping her up and down.
"Need some help?" I looked up and sighed in relief as Calum stood there.
"Thank the lord, she won't listen to me." I spoke as I looked down at her. He sighed as he walked in.
"Give her here." He spoke. I gently put her into his outstretched arms.
"Shh, shh, come on, baby girl, daddy's here, come on." He cooed, cradling her close to his chest. She immediately started to quieten down, looking up at Calum through tear-filled eyes.
"That's it, princess, be quiet for daddy, good girl." He smiled down at her. She looked up at him, chewing on her tiny fist.
"It isn't fair." I mumbled. Calum looked at me.
"What isn't fair, babe?" he chuckled.
"I carry her around inside me for nine months, and then I push her out, but you're still somehow her favourite." I pouted. He laughed as he looked at her.
"Aww, babe. Well, her mum's a daddy's girl, so she did take after you." He joked, biting his lip.
"Oy!" I laughed, making him chuckle as Lisa slowly closed her eyes. My eyes widened as I immediately put a finger to my lips. Calum slowly looked down at Lisa before turning around so that he was facing her crib. He slowly lowered her into the crib before gently lying her down. He retracted his arms and backed away.
"Come on, babe, she'll be awake again in an hour, we should get some sleep." He whispered, kissing my head before pulling me back along to our room.
Luke
"Time for bed, baby." I sighed as I stood from the sofa and walked to where Hayley was playing on the floor.
"Do you want me to put her down, babe?" Luke asked as he gently plucked his guitar strings from the sofa.
"No, I think I got it." I smiled as I leant down. My smile widened as Hayley grabbed out for me, allowing me to put my hands under her outstretched arms and lift her up.
"Say goodnight to daddy." I spoke, walking her to the sofa.
"Goodnight, baby girl." Luke smiled as he stood up, pecking her head before walking into the kitchen.
"Come on, you." I smiled at her, causing her to do the same as I walked into the nursery.
I sighed as I could still hear crying through the baby monitor. I looked up at Luke to see him just watching TV.
"Right, that's it, I'm seeing why she's still up." I decided as I stood up.
"Babe, don't, she's three months old, she doesn't go to sleep until she's tired." Luke chuckled.
"Exactly, I've had three months of her not going to bed until one in the morning. I don't go to bed that late." I scoffed.
"Do you want me to try?" he asked. I sighed.
"Sure. Why not." I nodded. He returned it as he stood up and headed along the apartment corridor. I followed closely behind as he walked into the nursery.
"Aww dear, what's got my baby girl so upset?" Luke cooed as he bent down and lifted a crying Hayley out of her crib.
"Aww, dear me, look at the state of my little princess." He sighed, wiping her tears with his thumb.
"What's wrong, huh?" he asked, bopping her up and down. She looked at him and let out one more small whimper before resting her head against his neck.
"Oh dear, baby is missing her daddy." Luke chuckled as he looked at me. I bit my lip and smiled at the sight.
"I think that daddy is going to have to stay up for a little while to make sure his princess doesn't go to bed upset, that sound good to you?" he asked Hayley, earning a small squeal from her lips.
"I think that's a yes." He chuckled before walking to me.
"Don't stay up, babe. Goodnight, I love you." He spoke, pecking my lips.
"I love you too. And I love my little princess." I sighed, pecking her head before walking into our bedroom and shutting the door.
Calum
I opened my eyes and sighed as I heard crying through the baby monitor. I sat up and looked at Calum's side of the bed to see it empty. I stood up and walked along to Kylie's nursery. I walked in and smiled at her as she saw awake in her crib, chewing on her fist. I picked her up and held her close to me.
"Hello, baby girl." I smiled at her as I carried her through the house.
"Calum?" I called out.
"In here, babe." He yelled from the gym that he had made out of the spare room. I walked in to see Calum doing press-ups on the floor. He looked up at me and smiled.
"Morning, babe." He smiled as he sat up.
"Morning." I yawned. He looked at Kylie.
"Morning, my little princess." He spoke as he stood up and kissed her head. His eyes widened slightly.
"What's wrong?" I asked, kissing Kylie's head.
"I was struggling to do a hundred press-ups, but I think I might have found my motivation." He smiled before gently taking Kylie off of me. My eyebrows furrowed as he lay her gently on the floor before getting into his press-up position above her.
"Cal, what are you doing?" I chuckled. He smiled at me before doing a press-up. Once he reached the ground, he placed a kiss on Kylie's cheek, making her squeal.
"Aww, Cal." I laughed as he did another press-up, this time kissing her stomach.
"She's my motivation. Every time I do a press-up, I get to kiss my little princess." He smiled down at her before doing another press-up and kissing Kylie's head, making her giggle.
"I have to get this on video." I laughed as I got my phone out. Calum returned it, looking at the camera before doing a press-up and kissing Kylie's cheek again.
Luke
I carried Lexi into the boys' backstage dressing room and smiled as they sat around.
"Hey, guys." I smiled, making them look at me.
"Hello, my favourite girls." Luke returned my smile as he stood up and took Lexi from me, gently bopping her up and down.
"When do you guys go on?" I asked.
"Two minutes, boys." John spoke from the doorway.
"There's your answer." Luke chuckled. I returned it before taking his hand and walking with him and the rest of the boys to the side of the stage. Luke gently handed Lexi to me before putting his guitar on.
"Give daddy a good luck kiss." Luke smiled, puckering his lips. Lexi leaned forward and pecked his lips.
"And now one from mummy." He smirked, looking at me.
"Good luck." I smiled before kissing me.
"See you guys in two hours." He grinned before running onstage.
Lexi and I watched the boys perform from the side of the stage.
"Daddy!" she squealed as she saw Luke jumping around.
"Yes, daddy is performing, love." I smiled. She returned it before starting to waddle onstage.
"Lexi, no, come back!" I yelled as I ran after her. The crowd screamed as Lexi ran up to Luke.
"Oh, looks like we have another member onstage." Michael laughed. Luke returned it before lifting Lexi up.
"You all know my beautiful daughter, Lexi." He spoke, making the crowd scream louder. Lexi looked out before burying her face in Luke's neck.
"Aww, bless, she's gone shy." He chuckled before looking at me.
"Sorry." I mouthed.
"Don't be." He smiled before turning back to the crowd.
"Would you guys like it if my daughter helped us perform tonight?" he asked, earning a scream from the crowd.
"Okay then. Congrats, Lex, you're officially a part of 5sos." He laughed, gently bopping her up and down as she chewed on her tiny fist.
Michael
I opened my eyes and sighed as I heard Amy start to cry. I sat up slightly.
"Stay asleep, babe, I've got her." Michael whispered, kissing my head as he stood up. I lay back down and intently watched as Michael walked to the crib in the corner of our bedroom.
"Hello, baby girl." He smiled gently as he lifted her up.
"Why are you crying?" he cooed, cradling her carefully as he walked back towards the bed. He carefully sat down, his back resting against the headboard as he looked down at Amy.
"Shh, shh, princess, you're okay, daddy has you." He promised.
"Daddy will never let anything ever happen to you or mummy, he will protect his little angel at all costs." He nodded, wiggling a finger in front of her face and allowing her to grab it in her tiny fist. She squealed as she looked up at him.
"Were you just wanting a cuddle from mummy or daddy? Is that why you were upset?" he chuckled, earning a gummy smile in return.
"Okay, baby girl, daddy will give you a little cuddle." He chuckled again before looking at me.
"Babe." He mumbled.
"Hmm?" I hummed.
"Can she sleep with us tonight?" he asked. I opened one eye to look at them.
"Okay, but she has to sleep on your chest, always have a hand on her and don't cover her with the duvet." I instructed. He nodded before carefully lying down, making Amy whimper slightly.
"Shh, shh, you're okay, daddy has you." He reassured, moving her so that she was lying against his chest, with his hand resting protectively on her back. I smiled to myself as she let out a big yawn.
"Goodnight, my little princess." He whispered, gently kissing her head before closing his eyes again, her doing the same.
Ashton
Ashton and I walked into the shop, with Ashton carrying Jenna in his arms.
"Okay, so, we should start in the veg aisle, that's the quickest way to get around." I nodded as I looked at Ashton. I sighed as he just looked at Jenna, opening his mouth and allowing her to stick her finger inside of it as she squealed.
"Ash." I sighed. He looked at me.
"Sorry, what?" he asked.
"Did you hear a word of what I just said?" I asked. He looked at Jenna.
"Did daddy hear a word of what mummy just said? No, he didn't, no he didn't." he spoke in a baby voice to her.
"Oh my god, get a trolley, would you?" I chuckled.
"One with a baby seat?" he asked.
"No, I expect you to carry her and push the trolley with one hand, what do you think?" I teased. Ashton chuckled.
"Mummy isn't happy with daddy, is she?" he smiled at Jenna as he walked out of the doors and towards the trolleys. I rolled my eyes and chuckled as I started to walk through, picking items up as I went.
"Come on, baby girl!" I turned around and my eyes widened as Ashton pushed the trolley into the aisle.
"Ash, what the fuck?" I scoffed, looking at the plastic balls that were in the trolley, with Jenna sitting among them.
"It's a makeshift ball pit." He smiled.
"I can see that, but why?" I chuckled.
"Well, she started to cry as soon as I put her down in the trolley, and I was trying to figure out a way to get her to stop, and then we passed the kids' aisle." He shrugged. I chuckled and shook my head as I stood next to him and looked at Jenna.
"Your daddy is a very silly man." I smiled at her, placing a kiss on her head before carrying on with the shopping.
