How he is when you're sick
Calum
My eyes shot open and I quickly jumped out of bed. I ran along to the bathroom and quickly knelt down by the toilet, throwing the lid open before vomiting into the bowl. I vomited again before I felt Calum gently take the hair out of my face. I sighed as I held the rim of the toilet.
"You okay?" he asked.
"I think so. I think I'm done." I muttered, moving to sit on the floor next to the toilet.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I don't know." I responded.
"You think you might be pregnant?" he questioned, looking worriedly at me. I shook my head.
"I'm on birth control. I'm not pregnant, I'm sick." I mumbled.
"I'm not sure which is worse." He joked.
"I've just let last night's pizza come back up, I'm not in the mood for your anti-kids shit." I muttered.
"You know that I'm only joking, you know I want kids." He chuckled. I nodded before resting my head against the counter.
"Let's get you back into bed." Calum sighed as he stood up from the side of the bath.
"I'm going to vomit again if I move." I breathed.
"Fine, we'll do this another way." He decided.
"What?" I asked. He walked towards me and picked me up from the floor bridal style.
"What if I get you sick too?" I asked as he carried me back to our bedroom.
"I have a strong immune system." He chuckled as he put me down on the bed and covered my body with the covers.
"Mum used to make this tea which helps with vomiting, I'll ask her for the recipe tomorrow." He spoke before kissing my head.
"Thanks, babe." I muttered before closing my eyes.
Luke
I slowly peeled my eyes open as I bent over the side of the bed and let out a loud cough. I coughed again before leaning back against the pillows. Suddenly, Luke appeared at the doorway, looking worried.
"Stay away, Luke, I don't want to get you sick." I muttered.
"Are you okay?" he asked, walking quickly into the room.
"Luke, seriously, you've got that show in a couple of days, you can't get sick." I mumbled.
"I don't care, I love you and I'm going to take care of you." He promised. I shook my head.
"Luke, please-."
"Shush. You're not going to get better unless someone looks after you and since we're the only ones who live in this apartment, that job is mine." He spoke, gently taking my face in his hands. I sighed, knowing that I wouldn't be able to change his mind.
"Fine. But only do what you have to, don't stay too close to me for too long." I spoke.
"Okay, babe." He smiled before grabbing the glass of water that was sat on my bedside table and putting it to my lips. I drank it quickly.
"Okay, I'll get you some cough medicine." He spoke as he quickly rushed out of the room. Soon, he came back in, holding a small plastic cup full of pink liquid.
"Open." He spoke. I parted my lips slightly, letting him pour the liquid into my mouth before he put the water to my lips again.
"Thank you." I sighed as I lay back again.
"Get some rest, babe." He spoke before kissing my cheek and leaving the room.
Michael
I sighed as I sat on the sofa, flicking through the channels. Michael walked in and slumped down on the sofa next to me.
"What are you doing up?" he asked, making me shrug.
"What's wrong, babe?" he questioned. I sighed, shrugging again.
"Come on, speak to me." He begged. I shook my head.
"Are you mad at me or something?" he huffed. I sighed before grabbing my phone and typing something out before showing him.
"My throat is so sore that I can't speak." He read aloud. I nodded.
"What brought this on?" he asked. I sighed, typing again.
"I don't know. My throat was sore yesterday, but I didn't take any notice." He read. I put down my phone again before going back to the TV.
"What do you want to watch?" he asked. I groaned, rolling my eyes at him.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding." He chuckled.
"Hmm." I mumbled, croaking slightly.
"Don't worry, I know just the thing to help you. Mum used to make dad and I this herbal tea thing whenever we got a sore throat, I have some in the kitchen. I'll make you a mug." He spoke. I nodded as he stood up and headed into the kitchen. Moments later, he came back out, holding a mug in his hand. He sat back down, handing me the mug. I typed something out.
"Thanks, baby." He read.
"No problem." He smiled as I took a sip of the tea. I scrunched up my face at the taste, making Michael laugh.
"I know, it doesn't taste great but it'll do the job." He chuckled. I smiled and kissed him, silently thanking him.
Ashton
I groaned as I lay in bed, holding my stomach. I moved about, trying to find a position that would put my stomach at rest. Suddenly, Ashton walked in and changed his top and jeans for jogging bottoms before peeling back the covers and joining me.
"You okay, babe?" he asked.
"No. I've got the worst stomach ache I've had in years." I groaned.
"Oh...is it cramps?" he asked.
"No, Ash, I'm not on my period. I'm just ill." I mumbled.
"Aw, baby. Will you be okay?" he asked.
"I don't know. The last time this happened, I was seventeen, and I can't remember how to deal with it." I muttered.
"Lauren used to have really bad stomach aches too, mum used to make her this hot drink. I'll ask her for the recipe, but for now, I'll get you some tea." He smiled as he stood back up and left the room. A moment later, he came back in, holding a mug in his hands.
"Thanks, baby." I spoke as I sat up and took it from him. He climbed back into bed as I took a sip of the hot liquid, sighing in relief as it flowed down my throat.
"You feel better yet?" he asked, making me chuckle.
"Oh, I wish it worked like that, babe." I smiled.
Calum
I bent over the side of the bed, coughing and spluttering. I wheezed before coughing again and lying back.
"Babe." Calum mumbled.
"Don't say it." I shook my head.
"You need to go see a doctor." He sighed.
"No, I don't." I groaned.
"You do, baby girl. I'm getting really worried, you've been coughing your guts up for three days now." He spoke, holding my waist so that I was facing him.
"Yeah, but it'll just be something small like a bug, it's not worth going to see the doctor over." I insisted. He sighed before standing up from the bed.
"Fine, but you're not going to convince me to not look after you." He scoffed and shook his head as he left the room.
"Where are you going?" I croaked.
"To get you tea!" he yelled from the kitchen. He came back in with a mug of tea and a hot water bottle.
"Lie back, babe." He spoke as he put the mug into my hands.
"You're the best." I sighed in bliss, sipping the hot liquid.
"Okay, you're not allowed to leave bed, and I'll look after you." He smiled.
"Once again, you're the best." I chuckled.
