His girlfriend makes you choose between you *part 2*
Calum
I sat on my bed, tears running down my cheeks as my finger hovered over the button that would delete Calum's number from my phone.
"Please don't." my eyes widened and I looked up to see Calum stood at my doorway.
"Calum, get out." I spoke quietly.
"No, I came here to talk." He spoke, walking in slightly.
"Talk about what?! We're not friends anymore, remember?" I spat as I stood up.
"Please, just hear me out." He begged, taking another step.
"Calum, I don't want to hear it, get the fuck out!" I yelled.
"Please!" he cried.
"No." I shook my head as I took his arm and started to pull him to the door.
"Hey." He spoke as he took my hand.
"Get off of me." I spat as I fought against his grip.
"Calm down, Y/N." he mumbled, wrapping his arms around my waist and trapping me against his body. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I just stared down, my hands against his chest.
"I am so sorry. I knew that I made the wrong decision as soon as I said it." He spoke softly.
"I ended it with Sarah the moment you left. You were right, I'll have plenty of other girlfriends, but nobody can ever replace you." He admitted. I looked up at him.
"You'll always be my best friend, okay?" he asked, gently wiping my tears away.
"Do you mean that?" I asked quietly.
"Of course I do. You're my world, Y/N." he nodded. I sighed and returned it before kissing his cheek and hugging him tightly.
Luke
I sat on my sofa, watching TV. Suddenly, my phone started to buzz with a text. I looked down at it.
Luke: Y/N, I'm so sorry.
I rolled my eyes and ignored it. I sighed as my phone buzzed again.
Luke: Please, I'll do anything, and everything, to make it up to you.
I shook my head before there was a knock on my door.
Luke: You better answer that.
My eyebrows furrowed as I stood up and walked to my door. I opened it and sighed as Luke was stood there.
"And what the fuck would you want?" I asked, crossing my arms.
"I came to apologise. I broke up with Carly because I shouldn't have to end my relationship with you just so that she'll be happy. You know that I love you like a sister, you know that." He begged. I sighed.
"But the fact remains that you were willing to end our friendship for her, Luke." I sighed again.
"I know, love, but I'm willing to do anything to win you back." He spoke, taking my hands. I looked up at him.
"Okay. Okay." I nodded. He sighed in relief before hugging me tightly.
Michael
I sat in class, writing notes. The door opened and Michael walked in before looking at me. I rolled my eyes and went back to my notes as he walked towards his seat. He passed me, putting the cup of coffee on my desk before taking the seat at the desk behind me. I sighed as I looked at the cup.
I know you're still mad as fuck at me, but I need to talk to you. Meet me at my locker after class – M
I rolled my eyes before taking a sip of the coffee, feeling Michael smile slightly behind me. The bell rang and I stood up, collecting my stuff. I walked out of class before heading towards Michael's locker, where he was standing. He looked at me and smiled.
"This better be good, Michael Gordon." I sighed. He nodded and bit his lip as he looked at me.
"So, truth is that I only cancelled on you because Carmen felt like I'd been distant, so she said that she'd break up with me if I didn't cancel." He admitted.
"I don't see how you think that that would make things better." I scoffed.
"Hear me out." He spoke. I sighed and nodded.
"I realised this morning how fucking stupid it was for me to cancel with you, for her, especially since I've known you since we were little, and I've been dating her for a month." He scoffed.
"Cut to the chase." I muttered.
"I broke up with her." He admitted. I looked at him.
"What?" I asked.
"It's ridiculous for her to demand that I cancel with you, and then threaten to end us if I don't. So, I ended it first. You come first, no matter what." He shrugged.
"Thank you for sticking up for me." I smiled.
"You know that I love you." He returned.
"I love you too, you asshole." I chuckled as I hugged him.
Ashton
I sat in Calum's dressing room, sighing as I held the cold mug of coffee in my hands.
"You going to drink that?" Calum asked as he walked in.
"No, and you won't want to either, it's cold now." I mumbled, letting him take it from my hands.
"Who lets their coffee get completely cold before drinking it?" he chuckled.
"Someone who doesn't want to drink it at all." I muttered. He sighed before sitting down next to me.
"I get that you're upset, Y/N, but it's been a week. Lia left three days ago, and yet you still refuse to talk to Ash. He's upset about this too." Calum spoke gently. I looked at him.
"He's the upset one? Cal, he's the one who picked his three-month girlfriend over his fifteen-year best friend. We're practically siblings, who the fuck does that?" I scoffed.
"At least talk to him." He sighed. I shook my head. He sighed again before standing up.
"Okay, but Michael has pizza in his dressing room, so let's go." He nodded towards the door. I sighed and stood up before walking slightly ahead of Calum. My eyebrows furrowed as Luke and Michael were stood outside of Michael's dressing room.
"What are you doing." I asked.
"Ladies first." Luke shrugged.
"You're such dorks." I chuckled as I walked in. My eyes widened as Ashton stood in the dressing room. I turned back around and my eyes widened further as Luke shut the door.
"Oh, no you don't, open up!" I yelled, hammering my fist against the door.
"Not until you two talk this out!" Calum's muffled voice sounded through the door.
"Let me out, you assholes!" I shouted.
"You know the terms to your release." Michael spoke. I groaned and smashed my fist against the door one last time before turning around to see Ashton.
"Hey." He gave me a small smile. I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Look, I'm so sorry, what I did was so wrong, and I'm not even sure why I did it." he shrugged, scratching the back of his neck and walking towards me.
"You did it because you're an asshole who doesn't appreciate your best friend." I spoke. He nodded.
"Yes. Yes, I am, but when Lia left, so did our relationship." He mumbled. My eyebrows furrowed.
"I'm not following." I spoke.
"We broke up." He admitted.
"Oh. Well, I'm sorry-."
"No, you're not, and neither am I." he shrugged, making me sigh.
"Look, I'm really sorry about what happened and I shouldn't have let Lia talk me into choosing between you. I will always choose you." He promised, looking at me with kind eyes. I nodded and smiled slightly before hugging him tightly.
