I sat on my bed, scrolling through my phone when Luke rolled through my window.

"You know, there's this amazing thing called a door." I teased as I helped him up.

"Well, I couldn't use it because then your mum would know that I'm here." He puffed.

"And what's wrong with that?" I asked.

"My mum has told your mum to send me home if I come around." He sighed.

"What? Why?" I scoffed. He looked at me and sighed.

"She thinks that you're bad news and she doesn't know that we're dating..." he admitted. My eyes widened.

"She thinks that I'm bad news?! I guess that she doesn't know about your little smoking sessions between periods every day at school." I spat.

"Hey, it's not my fault, okay?" he retaliated. I sighed.

"I'm sorry. I just can't believe that she doesn't like me." I whispered.

"Hey, it's okay, babe. I'm not letting her do anything to us." He promised, gently kissing my face.

"Yeah, but...your mum could break us up if she wanted to." I choked, a tear falling down my cheek. Luke quickly kissed it away.

"I'm not letting that happen. Listen, I love you and I honestly don't care what my mum thinks. She doesn't control who I date, she can't control who I date." He reassured. I gave him a small smile before kissing him.
